The Last Mission

Yoo-Jin began to walk to her apartment again. Zitao was right behind her.

“Stop following me,” Yoo-Jin said.

“I’m not following you, I’m going home.”

Yoo-Jin tried to ignore him. Ten minutes later Zitao was still behind her. Yoo-Jin stopped walking and turned around to look at him.

“What!” he yelled.

“Where do you live?” she crossed her arms.

“Why should I tell you?”

“Because we’re partners,” Yoo-Jin said with a smirk.

“Fine, Park’s Apartments.”

Yoo-Jin just kept looking at him. She put her arms down and balled her hands up into fists.

“What!” he yelled again.

“That’s where I live, “she said.

“What? Well at least it’s not the same apartment room…”

“I hope so,” Yoo-Jin said under her breath.

When they finally got to their apartments Zitao disappeared. He must’ve found his apartment. She thought. She opened the door and walked in. A few minutes passed and the doorbell rang. She went to look through the peephole. It was Zitao. Her eyes widen. She swung the door open and looked at him.

“Don’t tell m-”

“Yup,” he laughed.

She rolled her eyes and let him in.

“No wonder there were two rooms,” she said.

Zitao smiled, “so, which one’s mine?”

“Down the hall on the left, you can figure out the rest for yourself.”

“Meeting in five,” Zitao said before he closed his bedroom door.

“Who are you to boss me around?”

Yoo-Jin sat on the couch and spread out the paperwork that she had on Go Jun-Dong and Kim Soo-Hyun. Zitao came five minutes later and sat on the couch across from her.

“Do you have a clue on how Go Jun-Dong looks like?” he asked.

“What do you think?”

“No?” he said in a high pitch.

She smiled, “no one does.”

“But it’s one of the teachers…right?” Zitao asked. Yoo-Jin nodded. “Do you suspect anyone?”

“Well it’s obviously a guy. His reason to kill the principal is probably because the principal supposedly raped the killer’s daughter.”

“Whose side are you on?”

“I just want to catch him. The principal will probably be charged later. He’s just bait.”

“I see…so how many male teachers are there?”

“43 in total.”

“Well that doesn’t help.”

“I was thinking that we can take turns rounding up info on the teachers and watching the principal.”

“Does the principal know that he’ll be charged with rape?”

“No, that’s why we need to keep it a secret so he won’t run, understand?”

“Yes.”
