No Exit-Block B-

P R O L O G U E

Jae took the spoon and put it in her mug of coffee. The mug was white with a black dog paw on it. She started moving the spoon in a circular motion to mix the sugar and milk with the coffee. She was still mixing it when her sister, Joanie hurriedly came in to the kitchen in her uniform.

Jae noticed she was carrying a newspapers with the headline: "BLOCK B STRIKES AGAIN". Jae rolled her eyes as her sister slammed the newspaper against their small, wooden table that they bought from one of their neighbors when they had a yard sale. Joanie started pacing around their small kitchen and living room.

"Can you believe it?" Joanie didn't look at her younger sister.

Instead, she went in to their room and grabbed her coat and jacket. They lived in a small, one-room apartment. It was the only thing they could afford because of the debts they had to pay back because of their mother's funeral and their father's medical bills.

"Can I believe what?" Jae asks Joanie when she walk out of their bedroom.

Joanie walk to the table and slammed her fist on it out of anger. The sound of her fist against the table made everything, including Jae, to jump. Jae look up at her sister and narrowed her eyes at the angered girl.

"Calm down." She murmurs as she shook her head at her sister's temper.

Joanie had such a temper, it was a wonder how they accepted her in to the police force. Jonie push back some of her dark hair that fell out of her ponytail and let out a huff.

"What's the matter now, Joanie?" Jae ask, sipping on the mug of instant coffee.

Joanie was four years older than her, making her almost twenty-three and somehow, Jae grew up to be more mature and calm. Joanie, however, grew up to be....more rash and eaisly irritated.

"They escaped- again!" Jae lifted her eyebrow but, didn't say anything.

Jae knew exactly who Joanie was talking about. Why wouldn't she know when Joanie never stops talking about the group of Imbeciles.

"Jae!? Did you hear me?" Jae let out a exhale and gently set her mug down on the table.

"What are you talking about?" Jae finally inquired.

Jonie sat next to her and took the cup that Jae was drinking, and gulped it down. She cursed when some of it fell down the corner of her mouth and landed on her uniform. She slammed the cup on the table and let out a groan.

"Not another one!" Joanie boomed in her usual, loud voice.

Jae glowered at her sister and gave her a napkin. Jonie snatched the napkin out of Jae's hand and started wiping the stain.

"Anyways, I'm talking about that group that's been robbing banks across the country!" She says, throwing the napkin on the table.

"They're some group of male criminals who randomly steals from banks- and I'm on the case! If I don't find the culprits, then I will be screwed." Jae sudden realized what she meant.

If she ended up getting fired- then, there will be no money for the debts. Before Joanie noticed it, Jae put on a blank face. Jae didn't want her sister to know how much she worries about the debts- and her, of course.

"You know, you could at least pretend you care." Jae let out a sigh and look up at her.

"Oh my God, Jonie!" Jae says, the worriness in her voice clearly fake.

"What should we do?" Jonie glared at her before picking up her purse.

"Jae-ann, make yourself useful and take this to the bank." Joanie says, pulling out a white envelope.

Jae reluctantly took the envelope full of money and look up at her sister.

"Wha-Jonie? You know I can't. Not by myself!" Jonie grabbed her coat and purse.

"Jae, get over it. The reason you're like this, is because you never leave the house. It's not like you have anything else to do. Just go, put the money in the account, and leave. That's all. I have to get going before I'm late again." She left out the door before Jae could say anything.

Jae held back the tears before getting up with the envelope still in her hand and sliding her shoes on. Jae suffers from anxiety. Social anxiety to be exact. She had a fear of large crowds and people. Fortunately, it's not bad to where she get's panic attacks however, she does panic. She freezes up and starts crying.

Jae snatches the solid black hoodie from the kitchen chair where she left it last night and walk out of the door. Jae didn't like going to the bank- or anywhere for that matter. It was crowded and loud. It also didn't help that it was Friday. Although she never showed it bothered her, what if the bank did get robbed? Especially by that group Jonie was talking about. She heard other people talk about them from school and work. She heard that they killed people while robbing banks.

The anxiety she was feeling only worsen.

When she walk inside of the bank, she noticed it was busy. It would make sense, since is was Pay Day. She clasp on to the white envelope filled with Joanie's weekly paycheck. She glanced at the lines to the nearby ATMs and then at desks were the workers were talking to customers. It was obviously packed.

She look down on the ground to avoid the feeling of people staring at her. She grabbed a number from the number machine that was by the door and glanced at it to see '60' in big, red print. She slowly walk to the seating section where other people were waiting for their turn.

There were about thirty or so people waiting and it made Jae even more nervous. She slowly walk over to the only seat that was open. It was at the end and it was next to someone who was had a beanie on and was staring at their phone. Jae tried her best to ignore them and took a seat next to him.

"Number 45!"

She mentally let out a groan and hid her face with her hair. She could hear murmurs throughout the lobby and some song playing. She pulled out her phone and started playing some app that she downloaded a couple of weeks ago.

Finally, after an hour of waiting for her turn, her number was finally called.

"Number 60!"

She smiled nervously at the sound of her number and quickly got up, accidentally hitting the person beside her.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She said, quietly.

She look down at him. His black hair was parted in the middle and went to his ears. His skin was white and blemish-free- which made her jealous because she had two zits forming on her cheek and forehead. He had round glasses that took the attention away from his brown eyes that for some reason, reminded her of her old teddy bear that she had when she was little.

He look up at her and smiled, which made her look away. She sent him a small, awkward smile before hurrying toward the front desks. Jae just wanted to put the money in her account and go home. She also wanted to get away from all these people. She smiled when she walk up to a male banker. He looked like the same age as her father and it made her sad at the thought of her father who's still in his vegetable state.

"How may I help you?" The man sent her a tired smile. Jae quickly returned it before pulling out the envelope.

"Hello. W-" Jae was cut off by a loud crash and some screaming.

She quickly turn around and the first thing she saw was a van in the middle of a giant hole in the opposite wall. Her eyes left the van and to the person walking out of it. He was wearing a creepy clown mask and he wore a red velvet suit, as if he was leaving for a ball or some kind of special event.

Five other people walk out after him wearing suites as well but, they were black. Jae's eyes wasn't focus on what they were wearing but, more on what they were holding. Apart from their leader, who was holding a megaphones, were all holding guns. That alone made her take a step back. She couldn't move as people push her in to the desk; she could only focus on the guns that the robbers were holding.

"Everyone! Get down on the ground or we'll have a shooting spree right here and now!" The robber in the red suite yelled out in to the megaphone.

That only made everyone panic even more. As much as she wanted to, Jae couldn't move her feet to run. If she wasn't standing in this lobby with a bunch of criminals and didn't feel the need to puke, she would even laugh. Who would of thought this would happen? She sure didn't.

"Everyone shut the fuck up!" As if someone pressed the mute button, it got quiet. Everyone stop running and screaming, and were staring at the group of people wearing clown mask.

"Get the fuck on the floor! Now!" Jae, just like everyone else, slowly got on the ground, sitting against the desk.

Despite him being far away from her, she could hear what he said. "P.O and B-BOMB, go do something about the cameras." He said to two guys after he moved the megaphone away from his mouth. Two boys; one with red hair pulled up and the other with blonde hair, started walking in different directions.

The leader started walking to the desks where she was. Jae could feel fear as he took each step toward her. Suddenly, he stop and look down at someone near the chairs.

"Taeil, you Idiot. Can you stop playing around?" A boy stood up and sent him a grin.

Jae's eyes widen in shock; it was the boy who she sat next to.

"Oh, come on. Lighten up, Zico." Zico shook his head and took off his mask.

From where Jae could see, she could tell that his skin was just as light as Taeil's. She could also tell that his lips were rather thick- as if they were swollen from a fight. His eyes were small and he had eyeliner on. His hair was obviously dyed white and it was up in two buns on his head and it honestly made him look mischievous. Honestly, if he wasn't robbing the bank and if he wasn't capable of killing her- she would probably be attracted to him.

"What the hell do you think this is? Play time? We're robbing a bank, not playing hide and Seek." Zico rolled his eyes and pushed his gun toward him.

"Just go get in place, damn fool." Taeil quickly grabbed the gun and headed toward Jae.

That only made her more scared. She didn't want any of them near her. She felt her heart's beat fasten as he walk near her. She could see her hands shake out of fear so, she hid them in her pocket.

The boy, Taeil, smiled when he caught sight of the nervous girl. Taeil immediately bent down to her level and smiled at her. "Hi again!" He said a bit to loudly where everyone could hear him. She felt fear- not because there was a criminal and possible a killer in front of her. She felt fear because, someone was so close to her.

She tore her eyes away from him and look behind him to see six pairs of eveys, any many other pairs, staring at them.
