If Dreams Could Tell

Jin's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night. I glanced at the clock and groaned completely forgetting we have school today.

I was about to get up until someone tugged on my shirt.

"Don't leave." Baekhee pulled me back down. My hands went up to caressed her face lightly. She really does look beautiful when she's not throwing rude remarks at me. I quickly retreated my hand and shook head. Must. Not. Think. Of. This. I shook her awake.

"Wake up, we have school today. I'm not staying the night here." I said.

"What did you say?" She sleepily asks.

I leaned closer to her, "Wake up, we hav-" Baekhee's hand shot up and hit my face.

"Ow! The heck?" I grabbed onto my nose. She didn't respond meaning she was asleep again.

I slowly pulled her hand away from my shirt. Once I had successfully do that, I went to wake up Rap Mon.

"Rap Mon," I whispered, "Help me wake up the others."

Rap Mon nodded as he rubbed his sleepy eyes.

After a few attemps of waking up the others, we sighed. None of the other members had budged one bit.

"Plan B, carry them all the way to the car." I said.

"Isn't there like any other plans?" Rap Mon asked.

"Don't think so."

"Fine."

Rap Mon started off with V, pulling him over his shoulders.

After 10 minutes, all there's left was Baekhee, "I'll take her, you can go first to the car." I said holding onto Baekhee's arm.

Instead of pulling her over my shoulders, I gave her a piggyback ride.

I blushed a bit when I felt her mumbling on my back. "Where are you going?" She asked no one in particular. To think that she actually sleep talks.

It was just like in those romance dramas. When the girl falls asleep on their date, and the guy gives her a piggyback ride home. Except this time the other members are here, and I wouldn't consider this as a date.


"Wake up! We're late!" I yelled as I threw my own alarm clock out the window.

After coming back from the karaoke we only had about 6 hours of sleep left.

I would usually be the first to wake and wake everyone up, but today was different.

"Jimin get out the bathroom now!" I heard V say. The members would always wake up at different times, so they wouldn't have to wait for the bathroom.

"Suga what are you doing in there?" J-hope whined. "Don't tell me you're taking a dump. We don't have time! Hurry up!"

In reality, Suga was probably just asleep in the bathroom.

I sighed as I heard Baekhee's door open. "Out now." She said. Jimin scrambled out. How does she do that?

She pushed V away and closed the door behind her.

"Hey! Don't budge me! I was here first!" V banged on the door.

"She's so cold." V slid down the door.

I chuckled, "I can see."


We arrived to school 5 minutes late,"Mrs. Kim is not gonna appreciate this." I said.

"Who cares?" Jimin out his arms behind his head.

"Why are you late?" Mrs. Kim said as soon as we walked into class.

"We uh ran into this old lady and-"

"Stop with your excuses! Come back after school to clean the classroom." She fumed in anger.

"Ne." We said and walked to our seats. I noticed Jae Seok who sat behind Baekhee. He smirked. So this dude actually comes to school now, nice.

I looked at Baekhee's straight but slightly terrified face. I smiled at her assuringly, but she just sent me a glare. What did I do? If I remember correctly, Jimin said that Jae Seok was the one that hurt her.

Class went on like usual, as did the other classes. Soon, it was the last period class.

Baekhee and Jungkook was sitting together causing people to give her dirty looks. I sat behind them as I listened to their conversation. I wasn't eavesdropping, i'm just listening...cause I'm curious.

"What do you think of Jin Hyung?" Jungkook asked. This got me more curious.

"He's an idiot." She said.

Of course she'd say that.

Jungkook smiled, "That's good!"

Baekhee frowned, "Why?"

"N-nothing." He scratched the back of his head. Baekhee shrugged.

"But." Baekhee started. Jungkook's smile faltered.

"Even though his looks aren't that good, and his personality pisses me off, and he annoys me," She said.

I glared. Thanks a lot.

"He's actually kind of caring, and nice." Baekhee smiled. "He's good at cooking too."

Uh, I don't think she can see me behind her.

"Is that so?" Jungkook said. "What do you think of me?"

I could feel my blood boiling. Why?

"You're childish." She said.

Jungkook slightly frowned and pouted, "Is that all?"

"Pretty much, there's more but it doesn't suit the mood."

"Why? Tell me!"

"No."

"Tell me!"

"No."

This went on even when they were whispering for the rest of the class period which annoys me that their playing around with each other. Why?

The class ended as the students quickly packed up to leave.

Where was Baekhee? She had left to go to the bathroom in the middle of class, but she hasn't came back. I'm beginning to get worried. Why?

I helped her pack up her stuff and took her backpack with me. I should go find her before Mrs. Kim gives her a lecture about not being there to clean her classroom. Why does the teachers make students do this? Can't they just get their lazy butts out of their chairs and clean it themselves?

I dropped our stuff off at Mrs. Kim's classroom and greeted the other members before going out with Rap Mon to look for Baekhee.

We spit up and went opposite directions.

The school was almost empty due to the students leaving.

From far away, I could see a guy with a girl next to him and another girl cornered to the locker. I looked closer.

"Baekhee?"

"Oppa!" Said the other girl, Seohyun. "You like to see us torturing her don't you? You didn't even care last time."

"What are y-"

"What am I what?" Jae Seok smirked.

"That's why you gotta let me finish my sentence." I said. He faces Baekhee and held up a fist at her.

Before his fist could come in contact with her, I threw myself in front to protect her. Why?

Jae Seok cracked his knuckles and started beating me up.

"Stop!" I could hear Baekhee yell. She turned to Seohyun, "Do something! You don't want your oppa to get hurt do you?"

Seohyun glared, "Alright, geez. Can't you be more annoying?Jae Seok stop!"

He didn't.

"Yah! I said stop!" This time she yelled with her high-pitched voice.

Jae Seok didn't stop until 6 pairs of hands held him back.

I smiled. They've always got my back.

Jae Seok flung them off. He fixed his collar before walking away saying, "I'm still not done."

"Ew, Jin Hyung, I just got Jae Seok germ." Suga shivered. "I won't be able to sleep in peace."

"Gwenchana?" Baekhee bent down to help me stand up. She looked so worried at that moment I forgot that it was actually her. She wasn't the type to be worried.

"I'm fine." I said just as some blood dripped down from my forehead.

"Hyung are you sure?" V asks.

"He's not okay! We need to get him to the infirmary." Baekhee said.

"Isn't it closed early today?" I said.

She sighed, "Right. Then I'll help you." She ran to the infirmary as the other members helped me to Mrs. Kim's classroom.

Baekhee came back with an first aid kit.

"This might sting." I flinched as she dabbed my wound. Jimin looked at us in jealously, "I wish someone could treat me like that." He said. "Baekhee won't even go near me."

"If you stop with your pranks I might." She said.

I stared at her concentrated and worried face while treating my scratches. Beautiful. "Staring is rude." She said. There goes her rants about me. Surprisingly this doesn't bother me as it did when I first met her. Right at that moment, I could, no, can answer all the 'why' questions. Because,

I'm in love with her.
