If Dreams Could Tell

V's POV

The operator locked the door to our cage as the ride started. The sun was already setting and I realized we've been here for the rest of the school periods.

"I never knew it looked so pretty from up here." Baekhee said putting both her hands on the window her mouth slightly agape. She looked so amazed and...beautiful.

My thoughts traveled back to Hobie Hyung. Hobie Hyung was like my best friend since 6 years ago. We were so young back then.


Flashback

V's POV

Quietly, I peered into my parents room. They were still bickering over something. I took that chance to escape. What am I doing? I was running away from from this place.

I had a bag of what I need slung over my shoulders. My parents wouldn't even bother to look in my room so I didn't have to worry.

I raced for the doors creaking the the door open slightly. Goodbye my home.


I ran out of food a few days ago and I have no where to sleep. It was cold. Especially at night. I walked through the alleyway and into the woods not paying attention to where I was going. I walked straight into another boy.

"Ow!" I heard the boy's voice say. I looked to see someone about the same age as me, maybe a little older.

"Sorry about that." He pulled me up with him. I smiled, "Thanks."

"Yep! Hey, what are you doing out here?" He asked.

Should I tell this guy I ran away from home? Would he tell the cops to send me back? What do I do?

"I uh..I ran away from home." I muttered.

His smile disappeared but soon got replaced by a soft smile. "Hey it's okay, I did too."

My face went from regret from telling him, to surprised. What a coincidence, we both ran away from home!

"Do you have a place to stay? I'm guessing no. Would you like to stay with me? I have this really cool hideout!" He said with this friendly vibe.

I nodded as he lead the way. "Oh yeah!" He suddenly said, "My names Jung Hoseok! You can call me J-hope. I would prefer you call me that. What about you?"

"I'm Taehyung. Kim Taehyung, though I don't like to be called that." I said.

"Hmm, then how about V?" He asks.

"What?"

"Your nickname! Since you don't like to be called your real name. You know, V, victory that you ran away from home." J-hope said.

That doesn't make any sense and sounds stupid but, "V? I like it." I said. And that was the start of a new friendship.

Flashback End

V's POV

I remembered how Baekhee thought I was gonna jump from the rooftop, when she pulled me back from the car, when she treated Jungkook's wounds that day. She really is warmhearted in the inside. I smiled.

I sighed also remembering what J-hope Hyung had said when we were at the balcony.

"I have a feeling. That you will eventually, and we would both fight over her. I don't want that to happen. Best friends falling in love with the same person? That's ridiculous."

I snorted. Does he not trust our friendship anymore? I looked at Baekhee sadly. But he's not wrong because....

I'm sorry Hoseok Hyung.


No One's POV

You looked at V and tilted your head to the side.

V's mind was going crazy and his heart was beating faster and faster.

"Why are you stari-"

You were cut off when V closed the distance between the two of you. His lips pressing hard on yours. At the same time,
J-hope walked into the amusement park.

His eyes widen spotting the both of you. He gritted his teeth, and slowly backed away and ran, "Taehyung you traitor."

You kissed him back but quickly pulled away.

"I-I'm sorry." V said.

You looked away and blushed. He took my first kiss. I was waiting for someone special that doesn't happen to be V.

I'm sorry V.

The rest of the ride was silent and awkward. The ride and and you jumped off.

"Do you..want to go home now?" He asks.

You nodded still feeling awkward. V sighed and shook his head, "I'm sorry." He said again.


Once you reached home, you raced up the stairs. Before you could open the door to your room, you got pulled another room.

Jin pushed you to the wall.

"Yah! What are you doing?" You struggled to escape his grip.

"You weren't in biology class." Jin said in a low tone. You could feel his breath on you.

"That's none of your business!"

"It is!" He said.

"Why?"

"B-because.." Jin stuttered to find the right words. "Nevermind." He sighed and let go of your hand.

"Werido." You walked out of his room.


Jin's POV

Once she was out of sight, I closed the door and slid down on the floor.

What's wrong with me? I sighed. I must be going crazy.


V's POV

J-hope angrily dragged me to the living room. "Hey Hyung! How's it going?"

He punched me in the face leaving me utterly shocked.

"Why did you do that?"

"Don't act like you don't know." J-hope said throwing another punch. "I saw you and Baekhee in the Ferris wheel."

I clutched my stomach and looked down, "Y-you were there?"

"I don't think I can trust this friendship anymore."

I grew mad, "Even if you like her, that doesn't mean you get to have her all to yourself!"

He punched me in the stomach. I didn't give in and punched him back.

"Hey! What's going on here?" Rap Mon pulled us apart.

"You knew I liked Baekhee, yet you still kissed her!" J-hope struggled out of Rap Mon's grip.

"Y-you like me?" We turned, and Baekhee stood by the door frame looking at us shocked.
