If Dreams Could Tell

Baekhee's POV

"So?" He said.

"What do you mean 'so'?" I furiously asked.

"You sleep on the floor and I'll sleep on the bed. No objections?" Jin pulled out some mattresses and threw some blankets at me.

How is he "motherly"? To me he's acting like a jerk that makes girls sleep on the floor.

"Actually, I do." I said. "How about I sleep on the bed, and you sleep on the floor?" I crossed my arms.

"No can do. It's my room." Jin said. "Or we both sleep on the bed."

I clenched my fist, "F-fine!" I chocked out. He turned back to looked at me shocked then smirked. What did I just say? I can't turn back now. At least not to him. I threw myself under the covers next to him.

I stuffed pillows in between us. "Do not cross the line, or else." I said as I drew my hand over my neck motioning a 'You're dead' sign.

Jin put his hands up, "Fine with me." I turned off the lights.


I tossed and turned. I covered my ears with my pillow. Our backs were facing each other, but that couldn't hide the fact that Jin was snoring loudly. Fortunately, he never crossed the line. Yet. He was in the same position as he was in before.

How can he be so comfortable?

After a few more tosses and turns, I eventually fell asleep.


I opened my eyes. Is it morning already? I glanced at Jin next to me, but he wasn't there.

I looked to my right and slightly tumbled back on the bed. There he stood right next to my bed. I lightly touched his face. It was really no joke. Jin and him looked exactly the same. But that's not important right now. He was back in my dreams, and that was all I care about.

Who knew just a simple encounter from my dreams would make me fall in love?

I hugged him tightly. "I didn't see you."

And as usual he didn't say anything, or much.

"I really hate you. Why do you have to exist only in my dreams? Why not in real life?" I said.

He pulled away. "I'm here. You just don't know it." He said.

What is that even suppose to mean? I shrugged.

The room shook slightly, but I ignored it. I continued to stare at him. Everything about him was perfect to me. Except..his name. That's right! His name!

He was starting to vanish, which means the dream was ending.

"Hey! Wait! You never told me your name!" I shouted.

"Ki-" He disappeared. I sighed. That was so close. I had almost, just almost got his name. Not I just have to find names that start with 'Ki'. Maybe he has a connection with Jin. I shook the thought away. Of course not!

That arrogant "motherly" jerk compared with him? No way.

I slowly started to wake up, but not before coming in contact with a hard surface.

I found myself laying on the floor in...Jin's room? I looked back at Jin who was taking up the whole space on the bed. Judging by his position, he probably kicked me off, which probably explains why my room was shaking in my dreams.

I glared at Jin. "I hate you!" I screamed. He didn't move one bit. I cracked my fist. "You even crossed the line."


No One's POV

You heard some footsteps outside as Jimin and V poked their head in. "Woah. What's happening in here?"Jimin asked. Both their expression changed when they saw Jin on the bed and you on the floor.

You pointed at Jin, "He wouldn't let me sleep on the bed, and we agreed to sleep together, but he managed to cross the line and kick me off the bed." You complained.

V snickered, "You guys shared a bed?" He was laughing on the outside, but in the inside he sincerely felt sorry for J-hope.

J-hope walked in. "Sorry, we forgot to rearrange the roommates. You can sleep in my room. I'll sleep on the floor, you'll get the bed. Or V and I could share a room, and you can sleep in my room." He said.

'Now that's what you call a real gentlemen.' You thought, 'Unlike that thing.' You looked back to Jin's bed.

"Will do." You said. "I'll clean out my stuff. I don't think I can stand sleeping one more night with him."


You layed down on J-hope's bed after you replaced his stuff with yours in his room.

"Ki...Kim? Kim what?" You sighed. You were still trying to figure out what his name was. Pinky was a cute name, but you don't think that he'd like that even if he isn't real.

"Kim-"

"Kim who? Who are you talking about?" J-hope asked coming in.

"What are you doing here?" You asked.

"I left something so I decided to come back. I'm sorry if I'm invading your privacy." He said. "Care to tell me who this Kim whatever is?" J-hope asked with jealousy in his eyes.

"Just the guy in my dreams. He said his name was Ki- something. He disappeared before he finished." You explained.

"Him again. Do you like him? You seem to think about him all the time. At least that's what Suga Hyung said." J-hope said. "No wait. Stupid question. You probably don't, you don't seem like the person to like people who don't exist." He stared into your eyes and slowly leaned in.

"Nice weather today." You pushed him away.

He sighed a bit. "Yeah. We should go somewhere. I'll wake Jin Hyung up." He stood up and closed the door.


J-hope's POV

I closed the door behind me and leaned against it. Why did I do that? I sighed. She probably thinks I'm weird now.

"Hey Hyung." V greeted.

"Hey." I greeted back.

"Is there something wrong?" He asks.

"No. I'm perfectly fine."

He looked unconvinced but shrugged it off.

"It's nice out. Let's go somewhere. Anywhere. We'll have to go to school tomorrow." I said.

He nodded. "Sounds good."

I walked into Jin Hyung's room. "Wake up!" I shook him. This is going to be hard. Jin is a heavy sleeper and nothing can wake him up.

After a few more try's I gave up. "You know what? He'll wake up eventually."


Baekhee's POV

"You don't seem like the person to like someone who doesn't exist." He said. But I did. I fell in love with someone who doesn't exist.

He suddenly started to lean in. What was he doing?

"Nice weather today." I pushed him away. There was probably something on my face.

He sighed, "Yeah. We should go somewhere. I'll wake Jin Hyung up." He stood up and left.

I leaned back on the bed and continued guessing his name.

"Kim..Kim Taehyung?"

Ew no. That's V's name. I wonder why he doesn't like to be called that.

"Kim Namjoon?" Nope that's Rap Mon's name.

I sighed. This will never work out.


No One's POV

Jin woke up a few minutes later. "I should probably make food for the kids."

"Breakfast is ready!" He yelled after cooking. All 6 boys scrambled down the stairs with Baekhee following close behind.

"We haven't had Jin's cooking in a long time! It's delicious!" Jungkook said excitedly.

"They appreciate Jin's cooking but not mine?" You crossed your arms.

Jin chuckled, "Sad life." He said.

You glared, "Thanks a lot for kicking me out of the bed and you crossed the line." You picked up a knife.

"Wow, wow, wow. Slow down." He grabbed your wrist.

You put down the knife and glared at the food. Is it really that good? You took a bite and your eyes lit up as you ate more.

"I-it's good." You blushed embarassed.

Jin smiled, "I'm glad."

"Where should we go today? We're gonna have to go back to school tomorrow." J-hope said.

"The aquarium?" V suggested.

"No. Let's go to the Amusement Park." Jimin said
