Post it love
Post it love
She can’t help but smile when she opened her locker and found yet another post it note inside. She looked around to see if anyone is looking in her direction but everyone was too caught up in their own conversations. She pulled the post it off the inside of the door and smiles at the words written there.
Everything is for you.
Everything is alright.
Even if there is no answer.
Everything is inside your smile.
She carefully stuck the post it to the inside of her notebook. I’ll put it with the others later. She thought with a smile as she grabbed the books she needed for her next class. “So-Yeon!” she looked around at the sound of her name and smiled as her friend, Namjoon, approached her. “Hey, what’s with the big grin? Did you get another love note?” he teased. She nudged him playfully but couldn’t remove the tell-tale smile from her face.
“Yeah, he left another one.” She admitted as she showed the post it to him. “Very cute.” He said as he handed the notebook back to her. They walked side by side to their next class. “Has he left you any hints to who he is?” he asked. She shook her head. “None. He never signs his name or even his initials.” She said with a pout. The entered their classroom and took their seats together at the back of the classroom, where their friends, Jin, Yoongi, and Jimin were already seated.
For the rest of the day, So-Yeon could only think about the note she had received and all of the notes she had received before. Including todays post it that makes a total of eighteen. She thought to herself. I wonder who could be sending them to me… she looked around the classroom as if the answer would just jump out at her. Her eyes met Jin’s and he gave her a warm smile which she returned before his gaze returned to their teacher.
For the next three days in a row she received another note, hidden inside of her locker. That makes twenty one… she thought as she smiled at the cute drawing on the latest post it.
The next day was Friday. She was eager to know if she would receive another note before the weekend. She arrived at school a little earlier than normal and made her way to her locker. She turned the corner leading to her locker and saw someone standing there. She darted back behind the wall, her heart beating rapidly in her chest. Oh my god! It’s him! She took a deep breath and slowly peeked around the corner.
The guy had his back to her, but he was definitely in front of her locker. She saw the familiar glint of pink from his hand as he opened her locker and stuck the post it to the inside of the door. He quietly closed her locker door and turned to leave. As he turned, his eyes were instantly drawn to So-Yeon’s disembodied head that was visible at the end of the corridor. He froze on the spot, his eyes locked with hers.
When their eyes locked, So-Yeon felt like she had been electrocuted. Jin is the one that’s been leaving those notes in my locker every day? She stepped out from behind the wall, knowing that she had been spotted. Jin gave her an embarrassed smile as she closed the distance between them. She stopped a few paces away from him, a smile on her face from his expression. “Jin, are you the one that has been leaving me these notes every day?” she asked, even though she was pretty sure she already knew the answer to that question.
A faint blush stained his cheeks as he nodded, too embarrassed to admit it out loud. “Can I see todays?” she asked and Jin nodded as he stepped out of her way. She walked past him and opened her locker and pulled the post it off of the door. She smiled as she read the words. He looked up at her friend who was fidgeting next to her.
“I couldn’t think of how to tell you my feelings. I was afraid that if I told you outright, you might reject me. Then I thought of this idea and I know that you just use your birthday as your code so it was easy to put the notes in and I’m rambling.” He said quickly before chuckling. So-Yeon smiled up at him, “You know I’ve kept every single note you’ve given me.” She admitted. “What about now that you know who they are from?” he asked, his tone nervous.
She pretended to think for a moment before answering. “I think I’ll need to keep them somewhere even safer now.” A wide grin appeared on Jin’s face. “Really?” he asked as he subconsciously took a step closer to her. She nodded, her grin matching Jin’s. Just as Jin opened his mouth to speak they were interrupted by loud cheering from the end of the hallway. The two of them spun around to see Namjoon and Jungkook hollering and cheering at them from the end of the hallway.
So-Yeon blushed while Jin huffed in annoyance at the sudden interruption. “Yah! You two totally spoiled the mood!” he whined while the younger boys continued their cheering. “Don’t let us distract you hyung! Why don’t you give So-Yeon a big kiss?” Jungkook yelled before cracking up laughing. Jin took off down the hallway, with every intention of beating up the two younger guys for ruining his moment while So-Yeon laughed at their antics. She looked down at the post it again with a smile before she heard a loud cry that sounded a lot like Namjoon. “I better save those two before Jin kills them.” she said with a laugh as she took off down the corridor.
