~After School Closed~
"They did not just do that." Kai said.

"But they did. We need to find a way to get them back." Xiumin said. Then a mischievous grin appeared. Xiumin ushered the members together. They nodded and high-fived each other. Tao opened the door to get out of the school but it wouldn't budge.

"Um guys, I think we're stuck."

"WHAT??!"

"I can't believe we have another test today." Hoshi whined with DK and Seungkwan - The Gag Trio.

"What do you expect, Its high school." Haneul put her hands behind her head. Joshua nodded beside her agreeing.

"If you studied, you'll do fine." Vernon recited what the teacher had said.

"We don't have time to study like you, Vernon." Dino pouted.

"Oh yeah? Then what do you do at home?" Haneul asked.

"Uh, watch Micheal Jackson? I'm very busy." He said. Seventeen looked at him with a very judgmental look on their faces.

"Hey, I study dinosaurs!" Dino defended himself. Haneul patted his head and Dino unexpectedly lied his head on her shoulder. She blushed but did push his head away. Haneul swore she could have seen jealousy in their eyes.

"Class, as you know we have a test today." Mrs. Kim announced. The whole class groaned except for Vernon who just pushed up his glasses.

"Ready...Start!" Mrs. Kim started the timer.

'Have we even learn this before?" Haneul thought confused. 'I'll just wing it.' She shrugged. Sitting next to her was the Beagle King, Choi Seungcheol.

His cheat paper taped to his hand, positioned like he's trying to cover his answers.

Until....

"Choi Seungcheol! Are you cheating again?!" Mrs. Kim asked steam coming out of her ears. Seungcheol cringed at her loud voice.

"Uh, no." He mumbled. She angrily grabbed his wrist and ripped the cheat paper off.

"Not cheating huh?" She glared. Seungcheol bowed his head.

"I'm sorry, that wouldn't happen again."

"Stand outside this room and put your hands up." Mrs. Kim sighed. A loud chuckle was heard from the back of the room.

"Would you like to join him, Baekhyun-ssi?" Mrs. Kim threatened. Baekhyun put his hands up in surrender. "No."

"That's what I thought." she said.

"Class, sorry for the disturbance. Please continue."

Vernon shook his head while Haneul face palmed.


Baekhyun nodded his head at Luhan as he wrote the name, 'Hansol Chwe' on the test instead of 'Byun Baekhyun' and put down random answers.

"Time's up!" Mrs. Kim stopped the timer. "Pass the tests back."

Vernon handed his test to D.O, who handed his own test with Vernon's test on the top to the person behind him. This went on until all the tests from that row went to Baekhyun.

Baekhyun quickly erased Vernon's name and replaced, 'Byun Baekhyun' on Vernon's test and turned it in.

The bell rang.

"Alright, you will get your tests back after 3rd period. You are dismissed." Mrs. Kim said.

"Vernon!" The called person turned around to see Haneul running up to him.

"Whatdidyougetonquestion17iwingeditbutitwasareallybadideacuziwon'tacemytestandMrs.Kim
won'tletmesleepinclassanymore." She ranted.

"Whoa, slow down. Talk slower, I can't understand you." Vernon said.

"What did you get on question 17?" Haneul asked slower this time.

" 1 why?"

"Seriously it was that easy?" Haneul asked dumbfounded. "I'm dead." She slapped her forehead.

"Anyways, see you at homeroom after 3rd period!" Haneul waved goodbye.

"We have the next class together." Vernon said walking passed her pulling her hand with. Haneul blushed at the sudden contact.

"Oh..yeah." Haneul scratched her head embarrassed with her free hand.

3rd period went by rather fast. It was time to go back to homeroom.

Mrs. Kim passed back the tests.

"Meet me after homeroom." Mrs.Kim said to Vernon after passing back his test. He flipped his test over expecting an 'A' but instead he saw an big fat 'F.' Vernon was on the verge of crying. He was sure that he was gonna ace his test to make his parents feel proud, but that "F" made him feel worse.

Vernon looked at the question Haneul had asked him earlier. There on the answer line wrote 2000. 'What the. I'm pretty sure I got 1 for this question.' Vernon furrowed his eyebrows. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw Baekhyun's test which he got an "A" on.

"Hmph. Even he got an "A." How in the world did I get an "F?" Vernon frowned scared of the consequences later with Mrs. Kim.

The bell rang and the students packed up for lunch.

"Hansol come here." Haneul eyed Vernon as he obeyed and walked over.

"I've seen that you've been slacking off these past weeks. Not only have I been expecting an "A" as the class president, but your answers are way off from the real answers. As for me, I think that you are making fun of your position as the class president." She crossed her arms.

"No, I-"

"I will have to ask you to give up as the class president." Mrs. Kim took out a piece of paper.

"If you agree, please sign this contract. Our new president will be the vice president, Kris Wu."

'Kris Wu? That dude from Exo? No way.' Vernon thought. But he knew he couldn't fight back. He sighed and slowly signed the contract. 'I can't believe I'm doing this.' His parents would be disappointed. Even worse, the next president was Kris.

"Thank you, I really appreciate your desision." Mrs. Kim smiled.

"No problem..."

"Stupid teacher." Vernon cursed under his breath, tray full of food in his hands. He was so deep in thought that he didn't notice a foot stretched out in front of him. Before he knew it, his face made in contact with the ground. His tray flew up and fell directly on his head.

Exo burst out laughing. Soon enough, the whole cafeteria started laughing.

"How's it like getting an "F" on the test, huh?" Baekhyun snickered.

"Vernon are you okay?" Haneul helped him up. She tried get rid of the noodles that was blocking his face.

He wish he could just crawl into a hole and die.

"I'm fine, don't worry." He assured her.

"Vernon!" You okay?" The8 asked panicking.

"Guys I'm fine. I just need some time alone." He said walking out.




"Worst day ever." Vernon sighed for what seemed like the hundredth time. He tried to clean himself off in the bathroom. He felt better but not completely.

A few moments later, he heard voices outside the bathroom.

"You should've seen his face!" A familiar voice laughed. Vernon knew that whoever they are we're was talking about him, and quickly hid in a random stalls just in time before the door knob turned and Exo piled in.

"Ha! That was hilarious!" Vernon could recognize the voice as Sehun.

"I wish I could've seen his face after I wrote my name on his test!" Baekhyun said. 'He wrote my name on his test?' Vernon thought. He then thought back to what had happened.

Flashback
"How's it like getting an "F" on the test, huh?"

Flashback end

'How'd he know? I'm pretty sure his back was turned to me.' But then again he sat in the front seat. It was pretty obvious whenever he does something.

Vernon thought back to the test. The handwritings don't even look like his, and he was still pretty sure he got the answer "1" for question 17.

He gasped. 'They didn't...' He wished he could just die on the spot right now. His parents will think that he's an disgrace.

Suho narrowed his eyes.

"Did you hear that ?"

Exo shook their heads, "Probably your imagination."

"No I'm sure I heard it." Suho walked closer to Vernon's stall. Vernon quickly slid over to the biggest stall. He spotted a box and hid behind. Fortunately, he didn't make a sound.

Suho checked the stall Vernon was in before, and checked the one he was in now. Vernon could feel his hands sweat as Suho walked closer, but he walked away.

"Maybe it was my imagination." He said.

"Told you so. Lets go now." Luhan said. Suho looked back once more before running after Exo.

Vernon poked his head out making sure no one was in the bathroom. Seeing that no one was there, he quietly walked out.



Vernon ended up in the janitors closet. Lunch was almost over but he didn't move.

He heard more voices outside."Ugh, who is it now?"

The door opened revealing all the Seventeen members including Haneul.

"What are you guys doing here?" He asked.

"We were worried." Seungcheol said. "We couldn't just leave you alone." Haneul added.

"As a matter of fact, you could. Just leave me alone." Vernon turned his back to them.

"We can't ." Haneul said.

"And why is that?"

"Because you're our friend Vernon. we have the right to care you." Joshua said.

Vernon stayed silent.

Haneul put his hand on his shoulder as he turned around.

They didn't expect to be so close to each other. They looked away and Haneul blushed. 'Aish, I've been blushing too much lately.'

"I need to tell you guys something." Vernon said and he explained what he heard in the bathroom with Exo.

Seventeen stood there gaping.

"They did not." Seungcheol said angry for Vernon.

"We need to tell a teacher, but they won't believe us unless we have evidence." The8 said.

"I can't believe that they would actually do that though." Haneul clenched her fist ready to punch the closer person standing to her, which happened to be Hoshi. He let out a small, 'eek.' as Haneul muttered a sorry and dropped her fist.

"Don't worry, I've already created a plan." Seungcheol said smirking. They huddled together.

"Hyung! You're a genius!" Seungkwan said. "But I'm best quality." They pushed Seungkwan away.

Vernon's mouth twitched up slightly.

"You finally smiled." Haneul said.

"Huh?"

"Come on, lunch is almost over." She said pulling him up.

"What about my clothes?"

"You can use one of my sweaters." Seungcheol said holding up an extra sweater.

"But we don't know what to do with with your hair." Mingyu said apologetically.

"Its okay. You guys had done enough." Vernon said.

"You can use my snapback!" Wonwoo said.

"Its okay. Remember no hats in school!" Vernon said laughing.

Seventeen walked out laughing.

"Seriously you guys really are the best." He said.

They only smiled in response.

Hey! This might be an confusing chapter. Just in case you don't know, Baekhyun wrote Vernon's name on his paper so he can get Vernon an "F" by writing random answers. When they passed the tests back, Baekhyun erased Vernon's name on Vernon's real test and replaced his own name, 'Byun Baekhyun.
