Lace felt her nerves getting worse. So worse, that her hands wouldn't stop shaking.

"L-Lay, are you s-sure that's a g-good idea? It will get dark outside in over an hour." Lay only smiled at me as he pack up his bag.

"I'll be fine. I promise. Besides, I'll only be going down the street." Lace didn't like that her brother was leaving her alone like this.

What can she do? Lay was a doctor and he did visits. After, the Bangstan Gang took over the city, the hospitals shut down. So, he received a lot of calls.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Lace ask, her anxiety getting worse at the thought of leaving her home. Lay stared at her and threw the pack bag over his shoulder.

"Lace, I'm not going to make you go so, stay here. I'll be gone just thirty minutes- a hour tops."

"But, it g-gets d-dark in a hour." Lay smiled at her to reassure her.

"I will be back. I promise. I'll call you before I leave." Lace nodded her head as she watched her brother leave their building.

Lace couldn't stop pacing. Lay just called to let her know he was on his way over an hour ago.

"Where was he?" She murmurs, still pacing.

She stops and walks over to the window the was facing the street and peaks outside. She was worried about her brother. She quickly got her jacket and, despite her fear of the Gang and the anxiety of the outside world, she walk out her front door for the first time in two years.

She needed to find her brother.

She could feel her knees shake as she look around for a familiar face. She went the house that her brother was at- to only see that they he left and slammed the door in her face. Lace could only understand, they probably thought that she was one of the boys that are in the Bangstan Gang.

She slowly walk down her street.

Where could he be?

Lace stop dead in her tracks when she heard laughing so, she did the first thing she could- she hid down a alleyway. She quickly walk down the alleyway and hid beside a dumpster. She kept quiet as she heard the laughter fade away and she let out a sigh in relief.

"Hey! Who are you?" She quickly jump and look up to see a boy her age- maybe older. Lace glanced behind him to see six other boys. She felt fear at the sight of them. Where they apart of the Gang?

"W-W-"

He cut her off by picking her up and slamming her against a wall.

"My name is Shownu. Now, who the fuck are you?" Instead of answering, her body was shaking.

It only made him angrier because he threw her on the ground. He threw a kick at her and then punch her. She was agonizing in pain. She glanced up at the other boys to see that they were staring down at her. They didn't show signs of guilt or even sadness. It would make sense- they were only thugs.

Shownu kick her in the face again before crouching down. He grabbed her hair and pulled her toward him. "If I see you in my alleyway again- I will kill you." And, Lace believed him. She could only watch as they all walk away. She was left in pain and she could only smell blood. She slowly shut her eyes as the wind blew. It made the night air cold.

"Why are you wearing that bandana?" Suga had asked Jin.

They were doing their nightly patrols.

"To hid my face. What else?" Suga rolled his eyes.

Suga wasn't hiding his face- no body did. Everyone already knew who they were.

"Why would you when everyone knows who we are?" Jin just shrugged his shoulders and they walk in silence.

Jin glanced down a alleyway and he stop. Something caught his eyes.

"Wait here. I'm going to check down there." He started walking toward the thing that caught his eye- a foot.

His eyes widen at the sight of the bloodied girl laying on the ground. Her face was bruised and puffy. Her clothes had blood all over them.

"Oh, shit." Her eyes quickly open, alarmed.

"S-suga!" She tried to look for the person with the voice but, couldn't find him. This only made her more scared. What if it was another gang? She felt someone run to her and crouched down in front of her. She could barely see because her eyes were puffy but, she saw enough. She could tell it was a male. His face was covered with a bandana but, dark hair and eyes.

"What's the matter?" Lace heard another voice- also a male. Her fear only got worse and she tried to move away from the boy crouching in front of her.

"Hey, it's okay. It's okay." The boy with the bandana said.

She couldn't see where the other boy was. "Sugas, go get the leader!" He ordered.

Lace was to tired to move so, she laid still on the ground.

"What the fuck happened, Jin?" Lace hears a deep, voice say.

She heard footstep walking toward them. She felt someone lift her, making her move. She didn't want them- or anyone else, touching her.

"Sh, it's okay." Says the same deep voice.

He moved Lace's head onto his lap and stared a ther.

"I think it was Monsta X," Bandana boy, or Jin says. Lace didn't know what was going on. All she knew, was that she was tired and exhausted.

"Let's take back to our place. She needs help." Lace glanced up at the boys who was holding her head.

He had light hair and his brown eyes were filled with worry.

"My name is Rap Monster, okay? We're going to help you."

At this point, she didn't care. She just turn her head to the side and caught sight of six other males who were all looking at her with worry. She slowly closed her eyes and her thoughts went to her brother.

She wondered if he was okay, or if he was like her- beaten, bloody, and bruised somewhere.
