Dream
Prologue
"Take my hand!" He yells to her as they're both running the streets of Seoul together. Without hesitating, she grabs his hand and holds it tightly. His black his is bouncing as the two of them run together and his smile is bright, as well as his laughter.
He was perfect, like her dream boy. He seemed real. She wanted to be with him forever.
"Shim Eunkyung, wake up!!" The teacher yelled as he slammed a book onto the table.
But, he wasn't real. Just her dream boy.
Eunkyung suddenly sprung into life. She heard the giggles of the girl students in her classroom and the laughter from the boys. And met her teacher's glare.
This was typical as always. She was the only student to be awakened by the teacher. He left the other students in peace in their dreams as if they were important to him more than her. She quickly looked away from the teacher's gaze down to her literature book. Eunkyung didn't mind about the outburst of laughter from the students because this happened all the time. Everyone laughed at her for what seemed like minutes, then hours, then years. But, one particular student didn't laugh at all he kept his head low observing his photos. She had no idea how he looked but, all she knew was he had black hair. At least, he didn't laugh at her like the other students.
"Sorry saem.." Eunkyung said softly, but loud enough for him to hear.
"It's alright, just pay attention next time." He averted his gaze from her onto the other students. "Now everyone, keep quiet and look at the board. Leave her alone now."
The students quieted down, and once the classroom became quiet it was as if everyone had forgotten about what had just happened.
As she looked down to her book and read for what seemed endless, she seemed to be drifting back into her own world, her dreams.
Then she heard a chair move all of a sudden which surprised her. She looks up from her book and looked around the classroom. Students were packing up their supplies and talking with their friends, but one figure quickly walked out the door.
