Catherine’s POV

As I was walking down the street, I noticed him.

Well, him and his group, SEVENTEEN. Displayed prominently on the banners along the street.

I couldn’t deny that I missed him. I missed his smile, his romantic gestures, his mere presence.

It was only 3 months after we broke up and yet, it was as if he already had a new life, happy without me. It kind of shattered my broken heart a bit more.

As for me, I decided to pursue my own dream and finally managed to clinch this internship at the most notable magazine in Seoul, MODE.

I decided to move on and start a new chapter in my life. It was time for me to get over my past. I couldn’t afford to wait for him anymore. I had officially become an adult albeit a young one.

He never contacted me since then and I had grown not to wait for his messages anymore. It was for the best.

My time in MODE so far had been wonderful. Although I was definitely still the errand girl, I got the chance to interact with our clients which were mostly celebrities.

In fact, I was going to interview my first client today, BTS. The up and rising idol group who apparently had become the alpha group among the currently existing male idol groups.

I decided to put extra attention to my appearance - be stylish and doll up myself. It wasn’t every day that you would get to meet such a high profile idol group.

I walked past the signature glass door of our office towards the meeting room where BTS was in. They were charming and attractive, I had to admit. I was trembling but thank God, they were such gentlemen as they kept on encouraging me without fail every time I stuttered. By the end of it, I was really grateful that they were my first client.
As I was organizing my notes, someone tapped my shoulders. I looked up and saw who it was, V.

“Hello. Is there anything that I can help you with?” I gave my warm smile.

“Yes. Only you can help me though. Do you have some free time after this?” He said while continuously shifting his eyes around.

I immediately questioned his intentions since it wasn’t common for the clients to ask for our help (especially to an intern!). We were also warned explicitly not to have any personal relationships with them to keep our professionalism.

“Yeah, sure, I guess. I have my lunch break after this anyway.” Having packed up my things, I followed him to his waiting room where I though we would meet BTS as a whole but when I entered the room, it was empty.

In my confusion, I didn’t realize that V had locked the door.

“What are you doing?” I started to panic.

He didn’t answer.

Gradually, he advanced forward and pushed me against the wall. My things became cluttered on the floor as I froze on the spot.

“What do you want?” I cried out, trembling.

“I want you.” He whispered directly into my left ear, sending chills all over my body. I could feel his warm breath on my neck and I felt very vulnerable. “If you even try to scream, I have the power to get you fired from your job.”

That definitely triggered my rage.

I slapped him. Real hard. He deserved it.

“Do you really think that you can do whatever you want just because you’re a celebrity” I pushed him away and ran straight to the door.

As I rushed to unlock it, he grabbed my hand and twisted me around.

“You wouldn’t dare.”

I tried to let go from his grip but he was way too strong and I could only blame my own naivety for agreeing to help him blindly. He locked my hands above me and was going to kiss me before knocks were heard from the door.

“태형 (TaeHyeong), are you in there?”

It was Rap Monster, their leader.

He hesitated before answering,
“네, 형. 잠깐만요.”
“Yes, hyeong. Wait for a while.”

He looked at me straight in the eyes and threatened me not to expose him or he would get me fired. He opened the door and joined his leader to apparently get to his next schedule.

I didn’t know what to do.

I knew that the entertainment industry was the dirtiest but I never though that I could be a victim to anyone from that industry.
