Ling's POV

The door opened abruptly and Kris walked out. He stopped just before he walked into me and furrowed his brows. His height was overwhelming, almost two whole heads above me and his hair was cut short to his scalp. I bow my head and move out of his way, feeling quite small to say anything to him. He paused but recovers quickly and walked past me with a scoff.

"Oh! Life with EXO MC?" Tao's raspy voice welcomed me and I turned to see his wide eyes grin at me. He shakes my hand and I watch as Luhan closes the door behind him. Luhan introduces me to Tao before he motioned me to the side to talk.

"Why are you here," he asked in Chinese, dropping his voice to a low whisper. The two of us wave to Tao as he followed after Kris towards the exit.

"Young Min called me here,"

Luhan grimaced and stared at me hard. "You be careful with him, he's not a man you should trust easily."

I nod and touch his arm. "What happened to you guys? Why are you back in EX-"

Before I could finish, the door to the office swung open and Young Min's eyes fixed on mine. I watch his lips curl into a smile as he held his hand out for me to shake. "Ling, we meet again."

I take his hand and bow out of respect, glancing at Luhan from the corners of my eyes. His expression was emotionless as he stared at him with hard eyes. Before I could say anything, Young Min motioned me into his office and I was forced to comply. Luhan gave me one last exasperated look before the door to the office clicked shut and I was left alone with Young Min.

Luhan's POV

I heard the rumors floating around SM company before coming here. A new recruit actress who was MCing for Life with EXO. It wasn't hard to guess that it was Ling as the other MC didn't do nearly as good of a job as her. I stare blankly at my feet as the secretary led me back down the stairs towards the exit of the building.

My manager helps me back into the van and we drive back to the Dorm. I stare out the window looking at the passing trees.

Ling was going to work under SM.

I heave a sigh. It was perhaps the worst thing that could ever happen to her. Young Min will keep her tied to the company just as he has tied Kris, Tao and I down. I groan remembering the contract I just signed.

I knew there was something off since coming back to Korea, but I was so caught up with Ling-

I froze, recalling everything that had happened in the past few months. Ling staying at the dorm, Ling being forced to MC the show, Ling breaking the contract because I didn't believe her-

"Everything, was my fault."

Ling's POV

I took my seat directly opposite of him in front of a stack of paperwork which I assumed were not mine.

I was wrong.

On the first page printed my full Chinese name, Wang Xiao Ling, in big bold letters. "What's this." My voice cracked.

I hear him snicker at me and I turn to him. He flipped a pen in his hand effortlessly and examined my lost expression.

"Ling, you do realize that I should be suing you right?" His face was friendly, but his voice sent chills down my back. "You broke a contract with me."

He reached for a package of documents before me and flips to a page on the contract I had previously signed for Life with EXO. He pointed at a sentence and leaned back in his chair to look at me.

"I, Wang Xiao Ling, hereby agree that I will be present for the full-" I lose my voice halfway.

"Will be present for the full duration of the filming of Life with EXO." He finished for me and leaned his elbow on the table.

We sat in silence as I realized how big of a mistake I had made in crossing paths with the man that sat before me. My hands were cold and shaking. Was he going to sue me? Just like he did Luhan, Tao and Kris? Look where it's gotten them now, back where they started.

I look up at him. The man that sat before me was dangerous, once he has a grip on you, he will definitely no let go.

His lips crack a smile. "What's going on in your head I wonder."

I tried to fix my gaze so that I wasn't glaring at him but it didn't work. I look away and breathed a sigh. "What do you want."

He roared with laughter making me jump in surprise. I hear him stand up and pace around the table.

"Here's a girl who knows the consequences of her actions." He leans on the table next to me where I could smell his minty fresh breath mixed with his tacky cologne. I felt like throwing up. "Ling, I want you to work for me."

So what Key was saying was true.

"I think you understand what will happen if you decide to reject my offer."

I frown and keep my lips tight. Clenching my hand into a fist under the table, I force a nod with my eyes closed. Ling, once you're in, you'll never get out.

As I signed the endless amount of paperwork, Young Min explained to me the basis of my job. "I'm building up a team of Actors under SM entertainment. You will be one of the new recruits entering this program."

I press my pen hard on the paper as I sign, gritting my teeth in anger at how stupid I've been to land myself in such a situation.

"Of course, you will have to go through rigid training."

I signed the last of my paperwork and slam the pen on the table, glaring up at him.

"Oh? Training you say?" I spat sarcastically as if I was interested. "Will I be paying out of my own pocket?"

He laughs dryly at my joke and takes my papers. "Of course not, how could I possibly make you do that."

He paused as he looked through the papers with an amused expression. Every inch of my body screamed for me to snatch and rip every piece of paper before it was set in stone.

"You're part of my grand scheme plan you know?" He chuckles to himself as if recalling a happy memory. I watch him go behind his desk to put away the papers, returning with-

A plane ticket?

He slides it across the table to me and I knew what was coming.

"Ling, you're going to America."

Ling is forced into the company by Young Min. To make matters worst, she is required to go to America for her training. What will the boys do when they find out about her leaving?
