Sehun's POV

One look from Xiumin and I knew I had to think fast. I fell on my knees and pressed my head against the ground in front of him.

"Hyung, I'm sorry," I held my breath waiting for his answer.

"What were you doing?" His voice was stiff like he was holding back every ounce of his anger.

"Xiumin, it's alright," Ling spoke behind him. "We were trying to get back at Borin."

I looked up slowly. Is Ling standing up for me?

"What?" Xiumin turned on her. Baekhyun and Lay were sitting next to her.

"Borin was angry that I was with Sehun all the time," She said her eyes lingering on me. I felt my face grow hot and my breath was caught in my throat. I looked away and she continued. "Sehun was thinking of a way to get back at her. The kiss didn't mean anything."

Didn't mean anything? I looked at her again my mind was swarming with confusion. Did I want it to mean something?

Xiumin sat on the table to face directly opposite of her. He placed a hand on her cheek which was bandaged. "Don't let the members take advantage of you Ling."

He shot me a glare and I quickly looked down again. "Sehun," He heaved a sigh. "Please, control yourself."

I nodded quietly.

"Oh, get up," He continued. "This is so embarrassing."

Ling's POV

I poured myself a glass of water while the others sat on the couch chatting away about their schedules. I brought the glass to my lips and took a sip of water. My face grew hot as I remembered the feeling of Sehun's lips on mine. I knew it didn't mean any more than just a taunt, but just the gentle force he had on me was more than enough to make any girl swoon. I looked over at him as I took another gulp of water.

Just a minute ago he was on his knees in shame, but now he laughed along with the other members like nothing had happened. He looked up and made eye contact with me. I smiled at him. His eyes widened and looked away immediately in embarrassment. I couldn't help but giggle to myself, he was so simple minded and easy to read, just like a little kid.

"Is this really the time for you to be laughing?" Suho stood at the base of the stairs next to the kitchen and looked over at me.

"Suho-"

He held up a hand silencing me. "I don't want to hear anything about Borin from you anymore."
I bit my lip and stared into my cup of water.

"Ling," He sighed. "Don't call me heartless but, I don't think you should stay here anymore."

I knew that I should leave, but hearing it from the kind hearted Suho hurt me more than it should have. I nodded quietly. "I'm leaving tomorrow morning, Zhang-ge is picking me up."

He nodded and avoided my eyes. "Alright."

I watched him walk up the stairs slowly until he was out of sight. I glanced at the members on the couch. D.O and Kai had joined them now, and they were all joking around. Kai looked over at me and motioned for me to join them on the couch. I forced a smile and obliged for what would be the last time.

Luhan's POV

The following morning, I convinced the doctors at the hospital to let Borin leave. They agreed and I brought her back to the dorm with me where I could keep an eye on her safety. We walked into the dark dorm at five in the morning, when no one was awake. I moved her to my room where she could sleep comfortably and made myself a bed on the couch. Just as I was about to close my eyes I heard a shuffle from upstairs. I lifted my head to listen intently to the noise.

Was Borin awake?

A small figure walked down the stairs slowly with two suitcases. It was Ling. She was trying to make as little noise as possible as to not wake the other members. Her eyes lingered on the living room as she walked past and I immediately shut my eyes. I heard her draw nearer and linger around me for a brief moment before leaving. I heard her at the door of the dorm and I opened my eyes to look at her. Before I had time to react, she left with her suitcases without a word and the door closed with a soft click of the lock.

I sat up in confusion and couldn't help but worry about her. Why was Ling leaving the dorm? Where would she go?

My eyes rested on the living room table where a stack of envelopes sat neatly on top of another. Frantically I separated the pile with shaking hands. There was a total of 11 envelopes, each with a carefully written name at the center. There was one for each of the members, one for me and one for Borin. I ripped open the one with the Chinese letters Lu Han on the cover and sped read through the contents of the letter.

Halfway through the letter, I heard the starting of an engine outside. I stood and moved to the window where I watched Zhang-ge enter a taxi and drive off.

I breathed frantically, my mind was a jumbled mess. I returned to the couch and read the remnants of the letter.

"Ling," I sighed when I had finished and leaned back on the couch. "She's cutting her ties with me."

I crinkled the letter in my hand and buried my head in my hands. It didn't matter where she was going, for her to hurt Borin like that just for her own personal gains was despicable and disgusting. She can leave to the edge of this planet and it would still not explain for her actions.

So why. I found tears streaming down my cheeks and wiped them away angrily. Why did it hurt so much?
