Ling's POV

My eyes darted at Borin as soon as I saw the picture and to my surprise, she had a smile on her lips. I blinked and looked at her again. It was gone, replaced by a look of worry. She met my eyes and I looked away in embarrassment. I had almost suspected Borin for wanting this to happen.

"You're going to get toasted Luhan," Nam Soon narrowed his eyes at him.

Luhan opened his mouth to say something then rested his eyes on me. His eyes softened and he bit his lips. "I'll clear it up, don't worry."

He pulled out his phone and told his manager to take a picture of all of us. Then he tapped away on his phone without another word.

Borin checked her phone and let out a small gasp. "Luhan, are you sure this is okay?"

She held up her phone for all of us to see. On his Instagram was the group photo of us, Borin's face was as clear as day. The caption below read:

Invited Ling and her friends to see my concert. Hope to see everyone on stage.

"Is it really okay?" I furrowed my brows and looked worriedly at Luhan.

Before he had time to reply, the stage crew walked in and told him it was time. He smiled warmly and motioned for us to follow him to stage. We walked him to the side of the stage and wished him luck. He laughed and pulled all of us into a hug just as his song started to play in the background. I watched him skip on to the stage and start singing.

About halfway into the concert, Luhan sat down on the edge of the stage to talk to the fans. The door to the concert hall flung open and the nine EXO members stepped in chanting Luhan's name. The crowd cheered loudly. I was overcome with emotion as EXO ran down to the stage and surrounded Luhan in a warm embrace. Beside me, Borin shook with tears and sniffed loudly expressing her feelings openly for all to hear. Nam Soon rested his arms on our shoulders and brought our heads together.

It has been a long time since they were on stage together.

EXO and Luhan performed once together before coming backstage to watch the rest of the performance.

"Ling!" Baekhyun and Chanyeol squealed as they ran into me with their arms wrapping around me. "The photo shoot isn't the same without you Ling."

They held me excitedly until D.O tore the two of them off of me. He smiled at me and drag them off. Kai patted me on the head just as Sehun walked between us and waved his arms away.

"Kai, back off," Sehun muttered under his breath so that only I could hear. "Just because you kissed her once-"

I smacked him on the head before he could finish his sentence and he started to whine. Xiumin attacked me from behind and held me in a hug around my waist with his chin on my shoulder. I blushed violently causing Sehun to howl in laughter in my face. Lay and Chen smacked him on the head as they passed and bowed at Nam Soon.

"Who's he?" Suho glared up at Nam Soon. "Is he an idol too?"

Nam Soon hid his face with his hands and bowed at Suho. "I'm a fan."

The EXO members gave him a strange look, then at Borin, then back at me. "Her too?"

I nodded as Xiumin and I rocked back and forth in our spot. "That's Borin, her bias is Chanyeol, and that's Nam Soon."

Chanyeol jumped happily forwards to greet Borin and her face glowed bright red. I watched as Chanyeol and Baekhyun teased her until she ran to hide behind Nam Soon who was in a deep conversation with D.O and Suho.

"Luhan didn't do anything weird while I was gone did he?" Xiumin asked, his breath blowing against my ear. My heart raced and I immediately recalled the similar sensation of Luhan on my back, giving me a rain of kisses down my neck.

I shook my head and broke apart from Xiumin's hug. "How's your fever?"

He gave me a thumbs up. "Almost better."

"Almost," Sehun stepped in emphasizing his words.

Xiumin waved him away annoyed and grabbed my hand. He pulled me away from the noise and away from the view of Luhan's performance.

"Listen, Ling," he leaned in so that I was the only one that could hear him. "stay away from Luhan."

I scoffed at him. "Stay away, why?"

Xiumin bit his lip and looked past me at the stage that Luhan was performing on. "I, I get a bad vibe from him."

Bad vibe? I furrowed my brows and moved into his view to look into his big brown eyes. I felt my heart race in excitement but ignored it.

"You and Luhan are friends," I said slowly unsure what he meant by his last comment. "Very good friends."

He shrugged and shifted his weight from one leg to the other. I watched him play with his fingers uncomfortably and avoided my eye. "I don't know if we are anymore."

I blinked. "What are you saying?"

Sehun walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. "What are you two talking about here, in secret."

I kept staring at Xiumin as the rest of the EXO members eventually relocated to our area to see what was going on. Xiumin said nothing as Chanyeol and Suho pulled me away from him and towards the stage.

With my head still in confusion from what Xiumin had said about their friendship, I didn't realize we were on Luhan's stage until the blaring of the lights hit me full in the face.

"Introducing the full cast of Life with EXO!"

The crowd cheered as EXO presented themselves on stage, pulling me along with them. I struggled to get out of their grip as they pushed me forward and surrounded me. The crowd cheered loudly as Sehun pulled my hand up and over my head.

"Let's show some love for our fan representative," Luhan called out to the crowd. "Feel free to pass on to her any messages you have for us!

The audience roared with delight and I smiled. The EXO members welcomed me into their family with such warm arms that it overwhelmed me to tears. I bit back my emotions and waved to the crowd. Just as my field of vision was starting to be blinded by tears of joy, Xiumin rushed in front of me and held me in a tight embrace.

"Xiumin?" I said eyes wide just as the first egg smashed onto the stage

Ling has been accepted as the fans representative by most of the EXO fans however, there are still some who are against the idea. The EXO members are now determined to protect Ling at all costs.
