Ling's POV

I woke up to the sound of drilling and banging from the walls. I peeked out of my room to see cameras being installed around the rooms and hallways and immediately retreated back into my room. I changed quickly and walked out in shorts and the EXO hoody that Chen had bought for me. I bowed to the workers around the house and met up with Xiumin in the kitchen.
He looked at me as I entered but didn't say anything. He stood motionless by the sink as I helped myself to a cup of milk. I stood next to him and took a sip of milk.

"So we're filming today huh?"

He nodded, his eyes darting back and forth searching for words to say. "Last night-"

"Sorry," I blurted out without thinking.

He looked at me a bit taken aback. "Why are you apologizing?"

"I burdened you Oppa," I looked away a bit embarrassed.

He laughed at me and placed his elbow on my head. "No, you really didn't, don't worry. Remember you can always come talk to me."

We looked at each other, his big brown eyes sparkling with excitement. He smiled and I couldn't help but laugh at the way his cheeks puffed up.

A few moments later, all of the EXO members sat on the couch with Luhan and I. I sat between Xiumin and Kai farthest from Luhan and, not knowing how to act around him, I avoided Luhan's every attempt at eye contact. The director handed me a piece of paper.

"This is EXO's schedule for today, as the first episode, both Ling and Luhan will be required to participate," he paused. "The cameras are set up in all the rooms except in Ling's room and the bathrooms to keep your privacy."

Chanyeol chuckled. "Wow, this is like Roommates, EXO edition!"

D.O punched him on the arm and laughed at him. "EXO edition?"

"Exactly that!" The director said enthusiastically.

The 11 of us, EXO, Luhan and I, left our the dorm, which was still full of drilling and banging sounds, for EXO's first schedule. Each of us was assigned a cameraman and Luhan and I received our own handheld camcorder for convenient video taking. I followed Suho into the dressing room and sat on the far side of the room to get my makeup done.
Baekhyun sat next to me and looked at them apply eye shadow to my eyelids.

"Woah, you're looking great!" He winked at me.

Lay joined us just as they were finishing up with my makeup. "Woah, Ling is a beauty."

I blushed and covered my face with my hand. My heart thumped loudly in response to the random praises they shot at me.

"Aish, you guys are too much." I muttered into my hand and the two of them laughed.

As the members were having the photo shoot, we recorded them and made them laugh. At lunch time, the person who I've been avoiding all morning came over to me.

"Hey," Luhan said closing up his camera. "How does it feel to be on set?"

I shrug and look at his eyes. He looked at me warmly, a smile playing on his lips. His shaggy brown hair was gelled up to double the size of his head and his eyeliner was, needless to say, on point.

"The director wants me to shoot with them," he laughed. "I don't think the fans would like that, what do you think?"

"No, I think people will like it," I looked at D.O, Chanyeol and Kai on the far corner huddled up together to try and divert my attention.

"You've been avoiding me." He jumped to the point surprising me a little. "Why?

I shrug again and wished desperately I was not there at that moment.

"Because of Borin?"

I felt the color drain from my face as I nodded. He had hit the jackpot and knew exactly what was wrong. Will he be willing to tell me their relationship now?

I examined his face as he licked his lips deep in thought and anger shot through my veins. If it makes him this uncomfortable to share things with me, he doesn't need to.

Without another word, I left to join D.O, Chanyeol, and Kai.

Xiumin's POV

That night was the official viewing of episode one and we had the chance to watch it along with live comments from fans. We watched as our faces flashed between scenes and laughed whenever one of us did something stupid and memorable. On the side of the screen was the chat box where fans were reacting to the scenes, the font was quite small and I couldn't catch most of the comments but one, in particular, jumped out at me.

Ling should just die.

I felt my mind go blank and my eyes darted to Ling. She laughed at the face Kai and D.O made at the camera, unfazed by the comments. I watched as one by one the members all quieted down and looked at Ling.

"That's enough I think," D.O said quickly. "It's just our faces anyways, we know what's going to happen."

The members agreed and shut off the TV.

"What why?" Ling protested.

"Let's order some food and have a party to celebrate our first episode!"

There was a moment of silence when everyone looked at Ling for her reaction. She sighed and stood up to face us.

"Is it the comments?" She muttered.

I stood up and tried to lighten the mood. "Let's get some chicken!"

"They don't bother me that much," She ignored me completely and continued. "Really, I've seen worse from th-"

She caught herself and stopped half way. Worse?

Sehun looked at her sideways. "What are you saying?"

She curled her hand into a fist and gave us a hard smile. "Nothing, I'm joking."

Luhan did not look convinced. He stood up abruptly and took Ling by the hand. Swiftly, he rolled up her sleeve to reveal a bruise around her arm. The finger marks showed that it was probably from someone grabbing her arm too hard.

"Ling, where did you get that!" Suho rushed to her side and the members stood up in alarm.

"It's nothing," she smiled at us and rolled down her sleeve. "You guys are making too big of a deal."

"Are the fans threatening you?" Kai asked softly putting his hands on her shoulders and looking at her closely.

"Are you hurt anywhere else?" I asked quickly, trying to ignore the jealousy I had for Kai at that very moment.

She thought for a moment and shook her head. She smiled weakly and stepped back away from us, her back hitting the wall. "Really, you guys are too much."

We moved closer and trapped her against the wall. She stared at us with kind of a frightened expression.

"I-isn't this all going on camera."

My eyes widened at the realization and I pulled Ling into her room. There are no cameras here.
The members and Luhan followed and we found ourselves packed into her room, standing around her in a circle formation.

"Where else Ling," Sehun asked again and the members glared down on her, pressuring her to tell the truth. "We will strip you if we have to."

Her face flushed red. "No, you wouldn't."

D.O stood up and moved towards her. She took a step back, clearly frightened.

She sighed and rolled up her hoody to reveal a large bruise on the side of her stomach.

"Your fans found me after lunch." She smiled with what seemed like the last ounce of her energy and I felt my heart shatter in pain.

Some of the fans don't like Ling very much and has targeted her. EXO is very concerned for the safety of their friend. Meanwhile, Ling and Luhan don't look like they will be making up soon. How will this affect their feelings for each other?
