[Third Person P.O.V]

Both Megan and J-hope was quiet as they walk through the forest. They had left school at lunch when J-hope asked to see her. It honestly made Megan nervous because, the last time he asked this- he broke up with her. J-Hope stop and turn to face her.

Megan could hear her wolf howl at the sight of her mate. All she wanted to do was go to him but, there is just somethings you can't have. Megan often wondered why J-hope doesn't just reject her. He would be fine. He would find another mate.

"Were you telling the truth?" Megan couldn't tell how he felt, and she didn't like that.

"Yes, why would I lie about Christian?" J-hope shrugged his shoulders.

"Well, you lied to us a lot back then." I could feel the guilt rising so I look away.

"Why didn't you just reject me?" Megan asks with venom laced in each word.

"I- because." I look at him with a glare. I felt tears well up in my eyes.

"Because, why? There has to be a reason."

J-hope didn't say anything. He couldn't tell her the truth. He couldn't tell her that he loved her. His pack would be disappointed in him if they knew. He wouldn't know how they would react if they found out that Megan was his mate.

"Tell me why!" Megan growled out in anger. She had it with the never-growing-connection with J-hope

.If they couldn't be together, she wanted him to reject her. At least, she wouldn't get her hopes up. Instead of answering, he started running and then he transformed in to a familiar wolf. He stop running when he landed on his paws and glanced at her.

She frown as she saw sadness, apologetic, and something else she couldn't describe.She felt tears fall down her cheeks.

"Jerkface." She murmurs, kicking a nearby tree.

Sorry for not updating in the last couple of days xD I was lazy and I wanted tot ake a break. I hope you like it though. Guys, I might do a squel- what do you think? If I do a sequel though, it might be for the other boys.
