Secrets

I stared at myself in the mirror, studying every aspect of my face. I don't know how ir why but, I have changed. It's like I hit a growth spurt or something. My hair has grown oddly longer in the last couple of days and my eyes keep turning gold. My body has "grown" as well- if you know what I mean. I didn't know what's going on with me. The keep getting chest pains very frequently.

I was broken out of my thought to the phone ringing. I pick up the cordless phone that was laying on my bed and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Christian?"

"Grandma?" I said with a smile. They were still at the hospital taking test. It's been a week since they left and they were suppose to be back by tomorrow.

"Yes, Dear." I hear a chuckle.

"What time are you coming home tomorrow?"

"Well, that's the thing, sweetie."

"What do you mean?"

"The, um, doctor wanted to take more test. We'll probably stay another week- maybe two."

"Oh? That's too bad." I tried to hide the sadness in my voice. I honestly miss them. I haven't went this long not seeing them.

"Don't worry, Christian. We will make it for your birthday.I promise." I smiled in the receiver. I continue talking to my grandma and then my grandpa for the next hour.

"What are you doing for your birthday in two weeks?" Megan ask as we walk down the school hallway. "I don't know. I might have dinner with my grandparents if they make it home in time." Megan nodded her head and didn't say anything. She most likely knew I was kind of upset about them staying another two weeks.

I felt her elbow me and it made em look at her. "How's your chest pains?" I shrugged my shoulders. I didn't want to talk about it but, I answered her anyways. "It's getting worse. I probably should go to the hospital before I die."

"No! Don't!" I look at her in confusion. Why did she outburst like that?

"I mean, uh, wait until your grandparents get back." Megan didn't look at me when she walk ahead of me. I followed after her, still confused. I smiled when I caught sight of J-Hope at my locker.

"Uh, hey J-Hope." He smiled at me before looking at Megan.

"Megan, can we talk?" Megan slowly nodded her head and sent me a apologetic smile. I watch after her as she followed J-Hope.

"Christian!" I jump and smiled when I saw Jungkook and V.

"Uh, he-" I was cut off by a pain in my chest. I let out groan and lean on the lockers.

"Christian!" I hear V's deep voice say. I felt arms wrapped around me , holding me up.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook asks. I ignored him, quickly grabbing my bag. I open my bag's front pocket and took out the bottle of pills Megan gave me. I opened the bottle and took two pills. I threw them in my mouth, and the pain instantly faded away.

"Are you okay?" V aks with a worried look on his face.

"Y-yeah." Jungkook took the bottle that was in my hand.

"What the hell is this?" I took it back and threw it in my bag.

"Megan gave them to me. She said I should take them whenever I get chest pains." V and Jungkook exchange looks, making me confuse.
