I lock my phone up after it went to voicemail. Was Megan really that mad? I was just curious. Why did she blow up like that- and, J-Hope too.
Something is obviously going on between them. "Christian?' I look up from my phone to see my grandmother standing in the doorway. "Yes?"
"I need you to do me a favor. Can you go to Ms. Jang's house to get my plates I let her borrow?" I winced at the request.
Ms. Jang lives all the way on the other side of town. It was a thirty minute walk. Despite me not wanting to walk for thirty minutes in the cold weather, I agreed.
"Sure, grandma. Let me get my coat and I'll go." She sent me one last smile before leaving my room.
I got up and threw my solid black jacket. I glanced down at my clothes- sweat pants and a old t-shirt. I put on some sneakers and I left the house. It was nearly dark but, that didn't faze me. I always left the house at night. I shiver as the cold hit my skin and I let out a groan. It was way too cold.
Luckily, I knew a shortcut to Ms. Jang's house. I had to go through the woods but, instead of a thirty minute walk, it would be a ten minute walk.
I ignored the fear that was forming and walk in to the woods. The woods didn't seem all that scary when my eyes adjusted to the darkness. I somehow felt safe, as if this was my second home.
I push some branches out of the way as I passed a couple of trees.
I stop walking when I heard movement behind me as I was walking. I slowly turn around and I back away quickly when I caught sight of the gold orbs again. I felt myself fall to the ground but, I didn't look away from the giant furry beast in front of me.
I was surprised to see it wasn't human but, a huge werewolf that was bigger than me. The only person I saw with gold eyes, were V and his friends.
I couldn't make out the color of the fur but, I could tell it was staring at only one thing; me. It started to walk slowly around me until it finally stood in front of me.
It bent down and stared at me. I was expecting it to attack me or even growl at me but, instead he lick my face like he was a dog.
I could see from the moonlight that his tail was wagging. I lifted my eyebrow at the dog-like wolf. His familiar gold eyes didn't seem harsh. In fact, his eyes were filled with happiness and something else. I think it was love?
The giant wolf nuzzled it's head in to my neck and lick my face. I let out a laugh and wrapped my arms around the animal.
"Hi, where did you come from."He silently pulled away to lick my face.
"Hey!" I said, laughing harder.
Finally, he stopped and laid his head on my lap.
"Aren't wolves suppose to be in backs?" I ask out loud. "Where is your pack?" I ask looking down at him.
He glanced up at me and licked my hand, making me smile.
He suddenly shot up when he heard howling from a bunch of wolves.
He quickly look at me and lick my cheek before running off.
"I guess that was his pack." I murmured before getting up and finishing my journey. .
