Love for you

chapter 3

The mornings, she used to love were long gone, or may be not ‘long gone’ but certainly there was no brightness longer in the sun she would feel.

She rubbed her eyes with the back of her left hand and exhaled loudly before opening her eyes just to shut those back quickly. The sunlight flooding in, from the balcony glass was too bright and directed on her face to let her eyes get along. She shifted her side on the bed at once in annoyance.

Okay, may be sun was still bright… but not her insides.

She huffed and opened her eyes again slowly. The view at first was vague but as she rubbed her eyes a little more, she could clearly see Jong-in’s back facing her.

‘What a morning’s first view!’ she groaned down her throat lightly and sat up on the bed carefully. She had no heart to disturb the tiger’s sleep. She would be the only one at lose because she knew, with puffy red eyes and hurting head like having a hangover, she won’t be able to fight. Moreover, showing your antis your weakness only helps putting you in lose, not to mention he had already heard her crying. No more embarrassment, fight or weakness ‘show off’ she wanted!

She glanced over his sleeping body before getting out of the bed and realized her husband really had a good sleep. Well, good for to keep a mad tiger in chains.

Wearing her tissue slippers, she tried to fix her messy hair and slowly started making her way towards the restroom. She stole a brief glance at the digital wall clock and realized she was up early. It must be because of the cold, she thought. She gritted her teeth in annoyance at the sudden realization. Her so-called husband’s room was enough cold to send shiver down her spines. She never liked cold places nor cold people, neither cold bed but only if she knew she would be stuck in a room, where her husband welcomed her with a cold fight (rather heated one she may call it) along with cold room and cold bed as well.

“Where do you think you are going my dear wife?”

A smugly tone laced with sarcasm, she heard of a voice from her back, stopped her in her trunks. So, the tiger was up huh?

She sighed inwardly. A morning fight it was initiating!

She turned slowly to find Jong-in sitting on the bed, leaning his head on the bed crown, lower body hidden under the covers and a smirk playing on his lips.

‘Dear husband I would say you look handsome while smiling only if you had smiled genuinely’
She pursued her lips in a thin line and looked at his face with a questioning gaze. She didn’t want to talk to him right now or better if you say fight with him. The mess of his hair was adorable but there was no way Eun-hee would look at it that way. They shared stares for a moment before Jong-in broke the ice. She could feel the cold in Jong-in’s eyes before he opened his mouth and Eun-hee couldn’t help but think how perfectly the chill fitted there. Cold room, cold bed, cold attitude and now, cold eyes, perfect match!

In addition, just like she reminded herself few seconds ago, Eun-hee hated Cold things.

“I’m gonna freshen up first since that’s my bathroom”

What a cool place to claim, Eun-hee wanted to laugh but she didn’t even change her expressions. She wasn’t in the mood to do anything. Her head was threatening to black out but still she got an urge to fight. She had enough pride to begin with.

“How about I set a reminder on your phone my dear husband,” She didn’t smirk but her tone was enough to show her mocking him. She crossed her arms on her chest and gave him her most grumpy look in order to show him how firmly she would fight against him. “Your every single thing is mine now too, even you, you my dear husband are mine on the top if you ask me to list down the stuff I can claim officially”

That was a big thing for Jong-in to swallow. She knew she had stepped on a certain tiger’s tale but for her, it was the most satisfying thing she had ever done in her life. If it was enough to shut Jong-in up she would be pleased but it only annoyed the calm tiger so there was no way, she could escape safely. Jong-in was out of bed now. A terrifying smirk on his lips and hands rubbing each other’s palm; ‘good Eun-hee your tiger is on fire now’

She groaned inwardly and silently waited for Jong-in to join her, by standing right in front of her and a piercing gaze straight in her eyes.

Eun-hee smiled underneath lips. The tiger was having a brainstorm because of Eun-hee’s words and Eun-hee could feel that from those black clear orbs. Certainly, Jong-in was affected by her words but he didn’t want Eun-hee to feel that. There was no way he was gonna accept this marriage and this what, he was Eun-hee’s, like some kinda property?

‘Never in thousand centuries Eun-hee’

However, he couldn’t show this to Eun-hee that those words affected him. Jong-in had no weakness, certainly no one but this Eun-hee’s smug smile!

Jong-in shifted inwardly on his place.

“O my dear wife,” Jong-in touched her hair and she flinched in horror. Her eyes widened in shock and she stumbled back like an injured deer. Jong-in got surprised at her reaction. With last night’s fight, he had an idea that she’s not something that would give in easily but what’s with this reaction. His brain processed fast but he continued anyway despite the fact Eun-hee was too terrified to process his words. “ ‘course I’m yours but what do I do, I haven’t yet claimed you, should I now?”

Jong-in locked his gaze with hers and leaned his head towards her but she shrieked instantly. Jong-in retreated back instantly. Eun-hee’s breath was vulgar, eyes widened and hands covering her mouth like anytime she would shout again. She was extremely terrified.

‘She must be acting’

Jong-in tried to think but Eun-hee’s scared eyes had such honesty, that he couldn’t deny. What did he do to scare her this much. Jong-in tried to reach his hand towards her but she instantly took few steps back again.

“Eun-hee?”

He didn’t know he was concerned. He may be wanted to make her cry or maybe he wanted to chase her out of his life but he didn’t know scaring someone would scare him too. He wasn’t a bad person after all. He was never mean to someone and now being mean to someone and scaring the person was a difficult task to keep up with, especially when the person was this much terrified.

“Don’t…Don’t touch me…Don’t..” Eun-hee’s words frost Jong-in on his place. His hand hung high in air and he was too shocked to move. Eun-hee’s beautiful and firm voice was shattered. She was trembling. Her hands still wrapped around her mouth and eyes darting at Jong-in’s face in a same terrified fashion. “Please leave me alone… leave me.. don’t touch…Sehun…Chanyeol bro, Yixing… Yixing bro…baek…”

She slowly started mumbling and gulping after every single word she uttered. Jong-in had no idea what to do. She was slowly retreating; chanting her friends’ and family’s name and Jong-in’s brain was losing its sanity. What was going on? How could she be this way when she fought back last night with that hand defense move? He didn’t know this would turn out like this. He felt a pang of regret and guilt in his chest. Confusion was overwhelming and Eun-hee’s actions were not really helpful.

“Sehun”

She almost shrieked that name and with a trembling body and stumbling steps she dashed out of the room. Jong-in was too stunned to move a single muscle.

“Sehun?”

He unconsciously mumbled that name underneath lips. His brain told him that she must be very close to Sehun. Of-course, he had seen her crying for that guy when Jong-in had hid himself there only to get over the unfamiliar feelings of his being married. That Sehun guy was nowhere to found after the ceremony and Eun-hee cried for him like a child would cry for his lost mother.
When she was this close to that guy, why didn’t she just marry that guy instead of ruining his life. He thought to himself in frustration. First this unwanted marriage, second, his so-called wife had such an attitude and wasn’t an easy pry, third, she cried a whole damn night making his ear bleed, forth, he was himself terrified because of this marriage for some certain reason, fifth, because of that certain reason he had to be mean to his wife to avoid his past to repeat itself if she knew about that, sixth, she was claiming his everything as her, not to mention she even claimed ‘him’ today, ruining his efforts to chase her out of his life soon and seventh, she got terrified like a deer in headlights because of something he didn’t know;

It was hell of a frustrating!

He felt annoyance flaring inside. Why the hell, his life had to turn out like this. He huffed in annoyance. Now that little terrified deer ( A devil in deer’s disguise) would roamer around the entire mansion crying about Jong-in’s bad.

His father would kill him and his brothers especially Joon myeon would play darts at his dead body. Just wao!

Jong-in dashed towards the rest room just to take a hot shower that would calm him down. Only if he had realized earlier that the guilt and worry pang in his chest was stingy enough to annoy him even after the calming shower.

***********

He entered the lounge with nervous steps. He had a strong feeling that his father must be waiting for him eagerly just to throw him out of the window. He didn’t want to die yet.

‘You wait Eun-hee’

He inhaled loudly and with a gulp, he looked up.

He was stunned at the view.

Eun-hee was in Sehun’s arms and he was spinning her by hugging her upper body. He didn’t realized his eye brows twitched in annoyance. His both well no, his trio- fathers were laughing at Chanyeol’s rambling. Joon myeon was trying to instruct Sehun to slow down and don’t let her fall. Yixing was busy with interviewing Kyungsoo. Jong-dae and Baekhyun were busy trolling Minseok.

He was not needed there.

Eun-hee was happy, his brothers were happy, his fathers were happy and he was, he was just an outcast who won’t fit in this family completion.

‘Is he really Jong-dae’s brother?’

A voice rang at the back of his head and he flinched inwardly. He was right for what he feared. He was right when he feared about some certain thing because of Eun-hee’s presence.
He felt hatred towards Eun-hee growing more and more.

At first he thought he was just trying to hate her for no reason but now he had a reason. He never hated anything this easily but he was hating this girl. He wanted to throw her out of his life, out of his family’s life right way. He wanted to crush her and tell her that nobody needed her there, but he just couldn’t do anything. He had no authority to do that, moreover, he had to get the inheritance and Eun-hee was his key to that lock.

Good thing, it was Eun-hee or else he had to act like a husband. He only tested her when he whispered in her ear at the ceremony to see what would be conclusions. To his relief, she had enough to fight back but it didn’t mean Jong-in liked her for that, he was just at ease about not be needed to act. Therefore, his force hatred was now turning real as her strong persona was getting on his nerves now.

“O Jong-in,” Joon myeon’s voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he instantly lifted his head to find every pair of eye on him. Pushing their businesses behind every one was staring at him with warm smiles. Smiles? Even Eun-hee was smiling like they never been in any fight but her eyes were telling him that he had to act too. He forced a smile instantly looking at Eun-hee in Sehun’s arms. “You are up early?”

He wanted to tell his brother that the whole night sniffling of his dear sister-in-law was the reason of jong-in’s sleepless night and early morning awaking but how miserable his life was, that he had to lie to his brother early in the morning.

“I heard Eun-hee leaving the room so I…”

He dropped his sentence in the middle on purpose and Joon myeon nodded at this. He told him to join them with a gesture of his hands and Jong-in obeyed. He could feel Sehun’s piercing gaze on his face but he wasn’t the one Jong-in had to deal with then, so he neglected him. His eyes travelled from his father’s face to his dad (older uncle) and then to Minseok; he frost in his place. Minseok had the same look for him as Sehun. His mind quickly alarmed him that Minseok knows about something, something about scaring Eun-hee. His favorite cousin whom he loved like his own precious life, had a disappointed look and anger floating in the wet orbs. Jong-in felt as if he had lost a battle he prepared for his entire life. His brother was disappointed in him and Eun-hee was the reason behind this unwanted situation. He felt a hint of rage flaring inside. He clucked his fists instantly and unconsciously but didn’t drop his fake smile that encouraged Yixing to approach him.

“I’m sorry for coming this early and taking Eun-hee from you,” Yixing started shaking hands with Jong-in and everyone smiled at this statement besides Sehun, Chanyeol and Minseok. Jong-in smiled looking towards Eun-hee who was smiling with a knowing look in her eyes. “But when Minseok hyung called Sehun didn’t even give us the chance to change”

He explained the reason behind their presence at his house in their sleeping suits. Well explained, because it was obvious now that Minseok had found her crying Sehun’s name out. How embarrassing this was in front of his beloved brother. He sighed inwardly. Eun-hee was his wife in other’s eyes and he scared her on the first day of their wedding that made his wife cry out some other guy’s name. How bad his day could be anymore.

Sehun, of-course this Sehun would’ve insisted on this. He felt like he knew this family and the strength of their bonds from the very beginning despite the fact he just met them the other day for few hours. And that’s what he disliked more. He could feel that he knew Eun-hee and her actions for ages but that wasn’t true. He just got the chance to meet her at their wedding ceremony and he was already used to this family. How weird it was!

“It’s alright,” Jong-in said with a fake shy smile that made Baekhyun and Jong-dae snickered. Yixing smiled and Sehun just rolled his eyes at this. “I can manage for a while”

His trio-fathers laughed whole heartedly at this and Jong-in groaned inwardly. How pleased his fathers were, after making his life worse than hell and it was just the beginning. Kyungsoo pointed towards Minseok through his wide orbs and Jong-in realized that Kyungsoo knew this too. Minseok in-addition was showing the same signs, telling him about his annoyance at Jong-in’s words. Worse and extremely worse than hell!

He could see Eun-hee in a casual jeans and white T, Minseok’s cloths obviously. Why any one didn’t asked Eun-hee about her outfit, he wondered.

“It’s not just for a while Jong-in,” Baekhyun addressed him with a cheerful tone, informally taking all his and others’ attention. “Don’t forget we are gonna be in same collage and mostly same departments. You’ll have to bear us until your honeymoon”

“Honeymoon?”

Both Jong-in and Eun-hee shouted at the same time at this, scaring every one and receiving weird looks in response. Both looked at each other and instantly composed themselves. They couldn’t let anyone doubt them or else they would be doomed.

“Come on dad, you guys just moved here and you and we need time to adjust with each other so we can do this honeymoon later. Don’t worry I’m not gonna go easy on my sweet heart”
Eun-hee said with a smirk on her face looking straight towards her ‘sweet heart’ and the rest had to struggle hiding their smiles. Yixing elbowed Eun-hee to behave in front of elders but Jong-in knew the true meaning behind those words. He faked out a shy smile and gave a knowing look to Eun-hee. Was he himself going to go easy on his ‘sweet heart’? She must know it.

“Alright alright,” Kyungsoo father Mr. Do started with a warm smile addressing everyone in the lounge. “We can send someone to bring your stuff from your places and you guys can leave with these kids for collage from here. It’ll help our kids to spend their first day nicely”.

He asked Eun-hee’s family youngsters to help Kim family youngsters and the suggestion wasn’t bad but Eun-hee couldn’t help but interrupt.

“I think we can do that but,” she looked towards Jong-in “We shouldn’t let anyone know that we are one family for few days so they can make their own friends and get along with fellows, this wouldn’t just stuck them with us. We are really a wrapped group in which no body can enter and joining us on their first would only result them distancing from other fellows or friends they might make”.

Jong-in sighed in relief. He didn’t want to be stuck with her whole freaking day and Eun-hee only helped him with that. She did only for her own sake though. He still was thankful for that but not so thankful anyway.

“That would do,” Jong-in’s father nodded. “but you can’t take off your rings alright?”

Both looked towards their ring fingers and platinum rings visible there only made them fidget inwardly. Both were planning to take off when they reached collage but only agreeing wouldn’t hurt. Both nodded in agree and Jong-dae got up to whirl around in an amusing way.

“I don’t mind being wrapped,” He looked towards Baekhyun and Chanyeol and the trio smiled.
“since I’m gonna be with my perfect match”

Every one smiled at this. Of-course Baekhyun, Chanyeol had possess the same attitude as Jong-dae, they would be the best mischievous partners ever.

“I can be with Yixing and Minseok hyung can join us too”

Joon myeon added and yixing nodded.

“Jong-in and I would like to stay out of this thing for few days,” Kyungsoo said as if he knew what Jong-in was panicking inside about. “If you guys don’t mind”

“We don’t mind,” Eun-hee clapped her hands and smiled. “I can feel like am still single for few days”

She said in such cheerful and lovable tone that the trio-fathers laughed their hearts out at this.

“Really,” His older uncle started while laughing. “Kids these days love to be single”

“Not that papa,” Eun-hee stepped forward only to wrap her arms around his older uncle’s neck “I just want to flirt with my sweet dads”

The whole crew burst into laughter and Jong-in rolled his eyes at this.

‘Claiming even my dads!’ He huffed in annoyance.

“Eun-hee behave!”

Yixing warned her in a low tone but the trio father hushed him with the wave of their hands.
“It’s alright,” They smiled “She’s our daughter; nobody is allowed to meddle in our fathers daughter matters”

Every one smiled and Eun-hee beamed at this hugging the trio together with her long limbs. She sure was tall and had perfect long limbs; she could do that easily. Jong-in gritted his teeth with his lips pursed in a thin line and when Eun-hee flashed a smirk at him few minutes later, he instantly excused himself from everyone. He just couldn’t take more of this family drama. How he wished he could wrap his hands around Eun-hee’s long neck.

***************

Jong-in wasn’t on breakfast table and it only saved Eun-hee from faking out more in front of the whole family. It was embarrassing in front of Minseok and Kyungsoo. Both figured out everything when they found her crying at the main balcony. Both already had the idea this would turn out like this so she didn’t hide it anymore. She didn’t want Jong-in’s family to misunderstand him because she knew the worth of a family but when they already knew what possibly she could do. They had to tell Sehun about this and he was annoyed to death but only he knew how he suppressed the urge to punch Jong-in face. He didn’t tell the trio brothers of Eun-hee about this but Chanyeol was dead serious when he saw Jong-in while sitting in the living room and Sehun had noticed that. He was just waiting for the right time to ask him.

Chanyeol’s serious attitude was a rare occasion and it was happening lately a lot for two days.
Joon myeon, Minseok and Yixing took the same limo to head towards collage; Chanyeol, Baekhyun and Jong-dae were together in the other, Jong-in was with Kyungsoo and, needless to say, Eun-hee was with Sehun since they were inseparable.

The duo of Kyungsoo and Jong-in were inseparable too. They didn’t need anyone’s help to settle down but they to use the excuse of wanting to have other friends just to avoid the duo of Sehun and Eun-hee. Kyungsoo had asked Jong-in if he had made Eun-hee cry and Jong-in told him the actual story behind that whole drama scene. Kyungsoo was Jong-in’s best friend and he understood Jong-in’s reasons but he also got hints of something off about Eun-hee. He didn’t tell about this, what he sensed, to Jong-in though. He just observed Jong-in quietly taking off his wedding ring and he had an idea that Eun-hee would do so.

Certainly, Eun-hee did so.

She took off her ring and handed that to Sehun who wanted to throw that in a bin but what right did he have. He just put that in his pocket and chattered with Eun-hee about their regular stuff clealy avoiding wedding and Jongin as a gossip subject. Most of Eun-hee’s classmates had attended the wedding and Sehun was scary enough to seal their mouths about this topic. Well, Eun-hee was a nice girl only when she’s not in her grumpy mode and because most of her mates liked her for that they agreed to keep this thing secret. Eun-hee couldn’t be more thankful for that. She enjoyed her whole time with Sehun, chatting, playing, tickling, scaring people with their grumpy faces and spreading their couple aura around. They were extremely happy for having each other again but somewhere in Sehun’s heart he had realized that he had to lesson there bond strength. Eun-hee was not a thing and highlighting the fact she was not his to begin with. He wasn’t regretting to refuse to marry her but he had a thought that he could marry her even though they didn’t love each other.

Their bond could lead them towards love eventually and for heaven’s sake, they never dated or lose each other. He was an idiot to let go Eun-hee that easily.

They had almost no classes with Jong-in and Kyungsoo but they had classes with Jong-dae, Baekhyun and Chanyeol. Their classes with Jong-in and Kyungsoo were only the last ones but that wasn’t much of a bother because both came and left from the back door. They even sat on the back of the class; but who said that, everything would remain as smooth as that. They got texts from their families about wedding reception ball the following night and it was enough to bring the storm in the unspoken peace between them.
