Chapter 7
Kim POV_____________________________________________________________________
"There's a room filled with fire, flames everywhere. I can't help but to panic. I feel so small, I feel the flames hotter and hotter as they grow, I look left to right but there is two bodies on the ground, I don't know who they are."
I woke up sweating and crying. Since I was a little girl I have had the same nightmare over and over. It only triggers the nightmare when I'm around violence yet it feels so real. I told my dad but he doesn't know why. My body starts to tremble, I can still feel the heat. I look up to see I'm handcuffed to a headboard in a dark bedroom. Oh no, I start to panic. I start screaming and kicking. I don't like this feeling but it only happens when I get scared. My vision becomes so blurry due to my tears running down my face. I don't know where I even am.
Then there sehun and chanyeol run inside the room.
"Are you okay?" Chanyeol asked.
Sehun sits on the bed staring at me. while chanyeol takes the handcuffs off.
As soon as he takes them off, I jump off the bed and sit on the ground, shutting my eyes and cuffing my hands over my ears trying to avoid any noise. At this point I'm just crying and crying my eyes out.
Chanyeol tries to comfort me but when I'm in this state hardly anyone can help me calm me down, only my dad. I push him away. I open my eyes, Sehun was in front of me. He extended his arms around me and pushed me towards his chest. I actually feel calm.
Sehun POV________________________________________________________________
"I feel bad for locking her in the room. Must we handcuffed her too?" chanyeol says while drinking some wine.
Yes. She caused alot of trouble today and I don't want to risk it.
"You didn't have to put her down." Chanyeol replies annoyed.
You wouldn't have understand. Jumping to another subject what was your brother doing here?
"I don't know. He just came to tell me that we have something he wants and that he is going to try everything to get it back, But I don't know what he wants." Chanyeol says.
Why was he near kim? Does he know her?
"I don't think so he just said he bumped into her and that she looked very lost." chanyeol says.
As I pick my phone up to call my mother, I hear a faint screaming.
Hey. Do you hear that?
"Yeah it's coming from kim's room." Chanyeol says looking over at the room.
We get up rushed toward the room, chanyeol opens the door but we see kim, sweaty and crying, as if someone tried to scare her to death. I sit on the bed to look at her but she looks so scared. I signal chanyeol to release her. As soon as he released her she got up and sat on the floor. Covering her ears and closing her eyes shut. I look up at chanyeol he gets on the ground and tried to comfort her but she just keeps pushing him off. I get off the bed and sat in front of her. As soon as she opened her eyes I leaned over and embraced her. She grew calm and stayed still. Wait why am I helping her? This isn't like me.
Kim POV____________________________________________________________________
After sehun hugged me I got up and walked over to the bed, I picked up my phone 3:39 It's only been two hours.
I need to go home.
"I think you should stay." Chanyeol replies.
No, I don't think so.
"We have another job for you." Sehun says while getting up.
Chanyeol and Sehun walk out of the room. Sehun was very mellow then automatically turned ice cold. I grab my phone and walked out, minutes later we head out for another mission.
Hey chanyeol, can we stop real quick? I need to use the bathroom.
"Yeah" he says.
We pulled over and I ran to the bathroom. I dialed my bosses.
"Hello!" Detective taemin shouts.
Hi, Just wanted to check in to let you know I'm okay. I have been caught up in something, but ill check in later on. Send me the address you want to meet up. Got to go bye!
"Good luck rookie!" Detective taemin shouts.
I hung up and walked over to the car. As soon as I get in, there is sehun and chanyeol fast asleep. hmm, maybe there are just worn out. I squeeze in the middle of them and asked the driver to keep heading to the location,
"Yes ma'am, there is still a hour and 35 minutes left to go.
Thank you sir.
As we head out the boys are still asleep. Chanyeol looks like a soft puppy that wants to cuddle on the other hand Sehun looks like he will kill you if you wake him up, hm they are so different. Chanyeol is soft and heart warming on the outside but inside he could get mean but Sehun looks rude and cold. I wonder if he could have a soft side. As a couple of minutes pass, Sehun head starts tilting but trying to keep it back, while chanyeol is sleeping leaned against the car window, he looks so comfortable. heh. I look back at sehun but he's still struggling to keep his balance. man they must be really worn out.
I asked the driver if there was any blankets or sweaters, he instructs me that there is a emergency kit with 5 blankets with food and water, I pull out the kit and cover Chanyeol with a blanket. I fold one on my lap making it a pillow, I gently move sehun and put his head on my lap, then I covered him another blanket. I gently push his hair back from his face.
What did they do to you to become so cold and ruthless?
