Being Neighborly
Good Opportunity.
[August, SUNDAY Afternoon] Dani woke up to get ready to go. She wore a white lace short sleeve shirt with riffles at the bottom of the shirt, dark grey capris pants, orange strap high heels, hair tied up in a ponytail, black leather backpack. Dani got her luggages and bags ready to leave for the airport. She said goodbye to Dyanna and Lia before leaving with the taxi. After she left, Max came over to the apartment to ask for Dani. Dyanna answered the door and saw Max standing there.
Dyanna (*asks) : Max, what are you doing here ?
Max (*asks) : did Dani leave yet ?
Dyanna : she just left like a few minutes ago.
Dyanna (*realizes that Max was ready to leave & says) : i think you might want something.
Dyanna went to the counter table in the kitchen and got the plane ticket that Dani left behind for Max. Dyanna walked back to Max and gave him the ticket. He took it and waits for Dyanna to talk.
Dyanna : Dani left the ticket behind for you if you ever made the decision to go with her.
Max : thanks Dyanna.
Dyanna : no problem.
Max hurried to to the airport just in time for the flight. He got to the plane and to his seat right away. Dani was still walking into the tunnel to the airplane because she went to buy a souvenir for Lia in the airport. As she arrived in the plane, she found her seat and put her carry on in the compartment above before taking her seat. She sat down in her seat and got comfortable. Max was sitting right next to her holding the newspaper high up not letting see his face so Dani didn’t notice at all. Dani then asked excitedly to the person next to her about the trip.
Dani (*asks the person next to her) : where are you heading ?
Max (*pretends to be a stranger & says) : London and Paris for fashion week.
Dani : me too.
Max (*asks as putting down his newspaper) : oh really ??
Dani was surprised to see Max sitting there going to London and Paris after making the decision to go with her. She became speechless and just stared at Max the entire time.
Max (*asks) : surprised, aren't you ?
Dani (*finds her words & says) : very.
Max : well, believe it.
Dani (*asks) : so you really going with me on this one week trip ?
Max (*says & asks) : i'm here, aren't i ?
Dani : okay then.
During the week, Dani and Max spent the time together going everywhere in London and Paris for fashion week.
By the end of the week, fashion week was over and the staff had a private party for those who attended and those who were apart of it. Max wore a black and white tuxedo. Dani wore a black long dress, black high heels, hair tied up to the side, with a black clutch. While Dani and Max were talking with people at the party, the chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton came to talk to Dani taking her on the side to speak privately.
Michael Burke : it's nice to finally meet you Miss Dani Gerni.
Dani : Mr. Burke, it's nice to meet you too.
Dani : I love the brand you've been keeping alive these past couple of years.
Michael Burke (*smiles & says) : thank you very much.
Michael Burke : i've seen your work and i think it's amazing of what you can do.
Michael Burke : i wanted to offer you a job to come work for me as one of our top designers.
Michael Burke : we would like someone like you to come work for us.
Michael Burke (*asks) : so what do you say ?
Dani (*asks) : where would i be working ?
Michael Burke : in Paris, France at our headquarters.
Michael Burke : You would be working here for around 4 years.
Dani : this is a good opportunity but i would like some time to think about it
Dani : if that's okay with you.
Michael Burke : sure. Take all the time you need and call me once you make a decision.
Dani : thank you so much.
Michael Burke handed Dani his business card and walked away. Dani took it and kept on looking at it. She quickly hid the card in her purse as she saw Max walking towards her.
Max (*asks) : everything okay ?
Dani (*smiles & says) : yeah, everythings fine.
Max (*asks) : so you had a good talk with that person ?
Dani : yeah. He just said that he liked my work, that's all.
Max : thats good.
Dyanna (*asks) : Max, what are you doing here ?
