Being Neighborly
Dinner & Paris.
For the next few days, Dani and Max have been going on lunch dates together and discussing work as well. They really enjoy each other’s company while being together. Dani finished making the clothes for Yenny Kim’s debut promotions and sent it over to the company. Once the Spring Line Fashion Show was over, Hannah asked Dani to meet her in her office to talk about something important.
Dani (*asks) : you want to talk to me about something ?
Hannah : yes. Burberry, Givenchy, Ralph Lauren, Chanel,
Hannah : and Louis Vuitton are having a fashion show.
Hannah : it's happening in London and Paris this year.
Dani (*asks) : and what does this have to do with me ?
Hannah : i want you to go and take a plus one with you for the week.
Hannah : go for the company and report back what you saw at the show.
Hannah : i want to get a glimpse of the fashion.
Dani : okay. (*asks) and i get to bring anyone with me ?
Hannah : anyone, a plus one.
Dani : thank you so much.
Hannah (*gives the business card to Dani & says) : make a reservation on the website
Hannah : and they’ll email you.
Hannah : they’ll tell you everything you need to know.
Dani : i understand.
Hannah : don’t forget to report back to me when you get back here in New York City.
Dani : yes ma’am.
Since Lia was sleeping over her grandmother’s house that weekend, Dyanna and Dani used the weekend to spend time together. Dyanna and Dani went out to eat dinner together at Joann’s Coffee Shop. Dyanna wore a light pink halter dress, black tights underneath, black arm sleeve blazer, black high heel boots, hair curled down, beige clutch purse. Dani wore a white short sleeve crop top, light rainbow high waisted skirt, beige high heels, half hair up do, white small purse, white blazer. Dani decided to talk to Dyanna about going to London and Paris.
Dani : so Hannah told me to go to Paris and London for a fashion show next week.
Dani : i'm going there for assignment check and for the company.
Dani : and she said that i could bring a plus one.
Dani (*asks) : do you want to come with me ?
Dyanna : you know i can’t afford another day or week off from work.
Dyanna : and besides, i can’t leave Lia here in NYC with a babysitter.
Dyanna : I don’t trust them. I feel like something might happen to her.
Dani (*begs) : please ? who am i supposed to ask to go with me ?
Dyanna : you could ask Max since you two are on good terms now that you made up.
Dani : i don't know Dyanna. We could end up in a fight again and not talk for days.
Dani : that's how it is with us.
Dyanna : i can guarantee you that won’t happen
Dyanna : while you're in the beautiful city of London and Paris.
Dani : fine. I’ll ask him when i see him soon.
Dyanna and Dani were eating dinner. Max was in his office working still on the evaluation papers for the company. As he was finishing up, he began to get ready to go home. Dyanna, Dani, and Max all ran into each other on the way up the elevator of the apartment building. Dyanna nudged Dani letting her know that she would go inside first to let Dani talk to Max. Dani stood behind Max as he starts to open his apartment door.
Dani (*asks as standing behind Max) : Max, can i ask you something ?
Max (*turns around, looks at Dani & says) : sure.
Dani : Hannah told me to go to London and Paris for fashion week.
Dani : and she had asked me to bring a plus one.
Dani : so i was wondering if you wanted to go with me next week.
Max (*asks) : Dyanna isn’t going with you ?
Dani : no. she can’t miss work anymore and has to take care of Lia.
Dani (*asks) : so would you go with me instead ?
Max (*asks) : vacationing with you ?
Dani : it’s for fashion week Max. you don't have if you don't want to.
Dani : I won't force you to go with me.
Dani : i’ll leave a ticket in apartment if you decide to go.
Dani : goodnight.
Dani went to her apartment and inside. She sat next to Dyanna on the couch in the living room talking.
Dyanna (*asks) : so did you ask him ?
Dani : i did.
Dyanna (*asks) : and what did he say ?
Dani : he just asked if you were going with me and i said no.
Dani : so i just told him that i would leave a ticket in our apartment.
Dani : If he decides to go then he’ll take it.
Dyanna : good idea.
Dani : there’s nothing i can do beyond this point now.
Dani : i'm going to let fate take it from here.
Dyanna (*asks) : what do you wish he does Dani ?
Dani : i wish he’d go with me to London and Paris.
Dani : I can’t believe i'm saying this but i actually want to spend time with him more.
Dani : I want to know who Max is.
Dani : one thing i'm worried about.
Dyanna (*asks) : and what's that ?
Dani : i'm worried that i would never know who he is.
Dyanna : one way to figure that out is to spend time with him Dani, just like you said.
Dani : fate will bring us where it wants us to go.
During the week, Dani called in and booked a flight and hotel to London and Paris. She booked two tickets under her name and Max’s name if he ever goes with her.
Dani (*asks) : you want to talk to me about something ?
