Being Neighborly
Graveyard.
After 15 minutes later, Dani and Max came back to the B.V Studio with the food. They halted the shoot so that everyone would eat lunch together. They ate the sandwiches, cupcakes, and drank the lattes. They went back to work after that.
[6PM] After 9 hours of shooting the music video and photo shoot, everyone went home. Dani went home to start on making the clothes for Yenny Kim’s debut promotion outfits. She spent all night working on it.
[SUNDAY] It was Dani’s day off from work. She took advantage of it and went to visit her parents grave at the First Calvary Cemetery in Queens, New York. She dressed up for her parents and sister so she wore a black and white color shirt with a bow on it, khaki skinny pants with a tan belt, small chain purse, tan flats, hair curled down nicely. As soon as she finished eating breakfast with Dyanna and Lia, she took off using her sister's car. Dani wanted some alone time with her parents and getting some fresh air outside of the city. When Dyanna was washing the dishes, the doorbell rang. She stopped what she was doing and went to get the door to see Max standing there.
Dyanna : Max.
Max (*asks) : is Dani here ?
Dyanna : she just left.
Max (*asks) : where did she go ?
Dyanna (*hesitates & says) : uhhhh…...
Max (*asks) : where did she go Dyanna ??
Dyanna : she went to visit our parents at the grave where they were buried.
Max (*asks) : where ?
Dyanna : First Calvary Cemetery in Queens, New York.
Max : okay. thanks.
Dyanna (*calls his name) : Max ?
Max : Huh ??
Dyanna : it’s the most difficult time of the year for Dani so don’t say anything to upset her.
Max : i know and i won’t.
Dyanna : thanks.
Max left right away taking a taxi to Queens, New York. While he was in the taxi on the way there, he called in the Entertainment company to Leena telling her that he won’t be able to come into the company that day because of “business” matters.
Leena (*picks up her desk phone) : hello, this is Leena from Joyous Entertainment company.
Max : Leena, it’s me Max.
Leena (*says in excitement) : oh hey Max.
During this time, Ken and Justin were standing next to Leena while she’s on the phone listening to their conversation.
Max : i won’t be in today for work.
Leena (*asks) : did something happen ?
Max : no. i just needed some time off from work.
Max : i need you to set up a meeting for Yenny Kim and her manager.
Max : i want to speak to them about their schedules.
Leena : i’ll schedule a date on it.
Max : thanks.
Leena : oh Max.
Max : yeah ?
Leena : Mr. Daryl Jarvis wants to speak to you as soon as possible about how you’re doing.
Max : okay. set up an appointment with him and tell me when to meet him.
Leena : yes sir. he also wants you to do another evaluation for the trainees.
Max (*asks) : when does he need it by ?
Leena : by the middle of next month.
Leena : he also wants you to start organizing managers to the artists.
Max : got it. Set up interviews for me, you know the drill.
Leena : alright.
Max : send me an email of everything we talked about and the dates.
Leena : on it sir.
Max : thanks Leena.
Leena : no problem.
Max (*asks) : and Leena ?
Leena : yes ?
Max : tell Ken and Justin to get back to work.
Max : there’s a lot of work to do and i know they’re there right now.
Leena (*looks at Ken & Justin & says) : alright sir.
Max : bye.
Max hung up the phone and continued on his journey to see Dani. Justin and Ken waited for Leena to hang up the phone to ask her….
Leena : Boss says to you guys to go back to work. There’s a lot of work to do so go.
Justin : you're no fun Leena.
Leena : i'm just doing my job guys.
Ken : fine, let's go.
Justin and Ken walked away to their jobs. Dani was standing in front of her parents and youngest sister’s (Denise, 25) grave talking to them.
Dani : mom, dad, Denise. it’s been a while but i’m here now.
Dani : i’ve just been busy with work and such.
Dani : Dyanna couldn’t make it because she has work and Lia to take care of.
Dani : since it was my day off, i came to visit you guys.
Dani : it feels good to be outside of New York City.
Dani : Denise. do you still remember Max Weller, the person you dated before you died ?
Dani : well.
Dani : i’ve been working with him for the last few months collaborating with the company.
Dani : he is such a good person to be around but it feels wrong to be around him.
Dani : because i think i’m falling in love with him Denise.
Dani : i don’t know why i feel this way.
Dani : i don’t want to continue on knowing him because i’m afraid you’ll comes and haunt me.
Dani : you were right. he is such a great and hard working person.
Dani : i wish he knew about you and why you haven’t returned his calls.
Dani : he still thinks you left without a reason.
Dani : i’m not sure what to tell him nor do i know the right time to tell him. it’ll break his heart.
Dani : but i think i know what i should do Denise. i have to tell him the truth about everything.
Dani : he needs to know.
