Chapter Four
The next morning, Ai woke up really early and went to the kitchen. When she got there, she saw Hankyung and Ryeowook sitting at the island. They were drinking coffee. They looked up when they heard Ai enter the kitchen. Ryeowook got up and went over to the coffee pot.
He asked, "How do you take your coffee, Ai?"
Ai smiled and said, "I take it black please."
Ai sat on one of the barstools that were at the island. She asked, "What are you two doing up so early?"
Hankyung shrugged and took a sip of his coffee. "I'm an early riser."
Ai nodded and looked at Ryeowook. He said, "I have insomnia. It started last year, so I have gotten use to it."
Ai frowned at this. "Didn't the company send you to a doctor?"
Ryeowook shook his head and brought Ai her coffee. "No. I've had to basically just deal with it."
Ai frowned and looked at the clock. It was six o'clock in the morning. Ai said, "I need to start making breakfast."
Hankyung asked, "Can we help you, Ai?"
Ai could tell he really wanted to help. Ryeowook laughed and said, "Let him help you. He really loves to cook."
Ai smiled happily and said, "Sure. I don't mind if you guys help me."
Ai and Hankyung stood up. Ryeowook asked, "What are we making?"
Ai said, "Let's do eggs and bacon this morning."
Hankyung and Ryeowook nodded. Ai went to the refrigerator. She took out the eggs and bacon they would need. While Ai cooked the eggs, Hankyung started frying the bacon. Ryeowook made toast for everyone.
Once they were done with breakfast, they took the food to the table and set out all of the plates. Hankyung and Ryeowook went to go wake everyone up, as Ai finished the last couple of plates. Everyone came down for breakfast.
