Everyone said goodbye to Mrs. and Mr. Tuan before going into the van. Annie, Laura, and Mark hugged Mrs. and Mr. Tuan before leaving. Mrs. Tuan whispered 'good luck' to Annie as she hugs her tightly. Annie just smiled and nodded. Everyone was taking their seats in the back while Annie was sitting in the passenger seat and Laura driving the van. Mark was in the back seat behind them in the middle. While everyone was getting comfortable in the back, Annie and Laura got ready to go. Annie took this time to text her dad.

[Text]
Annie : hey dad. i just wanted to let you know that we're heading out right now.
Richard : that's good. i hope you guys have fun and drive safely to Vegas.
Annie : thanks dad ! i love you and take care of yourself while i'm away !
Richard : i will. have fun.

After texting her dad, Annie looked up at Laura who was looking around to get use to where all the bottoms were.

Annie (*asks Laura) : you okay ?
Laura : yeah.
Laura (*asks) : you ready to go ?
Annie (*laughs & says) : i should be the one asking you that.
Laura : right.
Annie : we need to stop by the diner to pick up some food before we leave.
Laura : Okay.

[12PM] They drove out of the driveway and out to the streets. Mrs. and Mr. Tuan stood there waving goodbye to them as they drive off. After 5 minutes of driving, they have arrived at the diner. Laura parked and Annie ran inside to pick up the food from Liz. Annie walked into the diner and towards Liz.

Liz (*says as seeing Annie walk into the diner) : Annie.
Annie : hey.
Liz (*asks) : your here to pick up the food ?
Annie : yeah. (*asks) : is it ready yet ?
Liz : of course it is. i'll be right back with it.
Annie : thanks Liz.

Liz went to the back get the boxes of food while Annie waits at the front where the counter was. Then Liz came out holding the box of food. There were 13 servings of burgers, fries, and milk shakes. Liz handed Annie the box. Annie thanked Liz and walked out of the diner with the box. She went into the passenger seat where she sat before and Laura began to drive on the freeway.

While driving, Annie said to the members in Korean that they had food.

[In Korean]
Annie (*says to the members) : I have burgers, fries, and milk shakes if you are hungry.
Jackson (*asks from the back of the van) : can i get one of those ???!!??
Youngjae (*yells from the back) : me too Noona !!
Annie (*asks the members) : anyone else ???

There was a silence after Annie said that. She passed back two of each to the back. They transferred it down to Jackson and Youngjae. They ate their food and Annie put the box of food onto the floor below her feet to get comfy. JB, Jr., Yugyeom were already asleep. Bambam were sitting next to Mark listening to music and taking selfies, posting it on social media.

As Laura drives, Annie fed her food and studied for class as she sits there. Annie and Laura promised each other to take turns driving to Vegas.

After an hour later, Mark was hungry and asked Annie while she studies.

Mark (*asks Annie) : Hey Annie ?
Annie (*hums as studying her book) : hmm ???
Mark (*asks) : can i get a burger ?
Annie : sure.

Annie put her book down in front of her and bent down to get Mark a burger. She handed it to him and he grabbed it.

Annie (*asks) : you want fries with that ?
Mark : maybe later.

Mark begins to eat the burger and says...

Mark (*talking with his mouth full) : its good to see you again Annie.
Laura (*says to Mark as driving) : don't talk with your mouth full. its nasty Mark.

Annie starts to laugh at the both of them and continues on studying.

Annie (*says as studying) : its great that your back in LA and going on this vacation with us.
Mark : well, i'm happy to be back. its just like old times.
Annie : you should sleep after you eat. its going to be a long drive.
Mark : yes boss.

For the next hour, Annie ate her food and fed the others who were in the back. And by then, they were all full with food in their stomachs. Everyone was caught up on sleep and resting well.

Two hours and 30 minutes into driving, Laura had driven up to a gas station in the middle of nowhere to fill up some gas and take a restroom break. While Annie was filling up the gas tank, everyone was inside going to the restroom and buying some snacks. A few of them came out to the car, it was Annie's turn to go to the restroom. She came out of the store with a few bottles of water for everyone.

After everyone came out to the car, Annie counted heads in the van to see if everyone was there. Then she took out the rest of the directions in the folder from the compartment of the passenger seat. She scan through it and continued on the road.

While driving, everyone was doing their own things. No one was sleeping and it got a lot quieter so Annie turned on some Kpop Music from her IPhone to blast it in the car. Everyone stopped what they were doing and sang along to the songs. Laura was sitting in the seat Mark had sat at before while Mark sat in the passenger seat at the front next to Annie. Annie was getting thirsty as she drives and tries to drink the bottle while driving but she couldn't. Mark saw and helped her out. She smiled at him whispered 'thank you' to him. Then Mark took a look at the folder in the compartment, the one that Mrs. Tuan had gave to Annie before leaving. He opened it and was surprise to see so many things inside. He started to ask Annie everything.

Mark (*says to Annie) : wow, my mom was really prepare for this trip.
Annie (*smiles & says) : she's just worried about being safe.
Annie : i told her that everything will be fine. we have everything under control.
Mark : she thinks we are still kids not knowing what to do.
Annie : i understand where she's coming from.
Mark (*smiles & says) : she's my mom alright.
Mark (*asks) : did you know that she and my dad bought Master Suite's for us ?
Annie : yeah, i knew when i read the papers earlier.
Annie : they really didn't have to do that for us.
Mark : knowing my parents, they would.
Annie : that's so nice of them.

Mark switched back to speaking Korean so that Laura wouldn't understand. Laura was listening to them talk in Korean wondering what they were saying to each other.

[In Korean]
Mark : i really missed you these past couple of years.
Annie : me too.
Mark (*asks) : how are you ? hows life in LA ?
Annie : its the same as always. i'm the same as always.
Mark (*asks) : so your a Doctor now ?
Annie : almost. i'm graduating the week we come back from our vacation with Laura.
Mark : that's good news.
Annie : yes it is. because of your encouragement, i'm almost a Doctor so thank you.
Mark (*smiles & says) : well, your welcome. and because of you, i'm a kpop singer.
Annie (*smiles & says) : your welcome.
Annie (*asks) : is it fun traveling everywhere ?
Mark : it is. we get to see different types of fans and a lot of places to see.
Annie : you know, i always wanted to travel the world.
Mark : i remember you telling me that.
Annie : i never got a chance to because school had kept me busy.
Mark : you should sometimes. there is a lot of places to see.
