[TUESDAY]

Annie had woken up that morning to go to work before heading to her Business Lab. Hours went by and Annie had finished class.

[2PM] She went to have lunch with her dad at the cafe where they go to before heading to work. She also invited Laura to lunch too. As they were having lunch together, Annie got the chance to ask Richard something.

Annie gave Laura an eye signal that she was going to ask her dad about Laura joining them to Asia after they graduate.

Annie : hey dad.
Richard (*says as looking up at Annie) : huh ?
Annie : ive thought about what you said about the job you offered me.
Richard (*asks) : oh yeah ?
Annie : yeah. i want to go with you to Asia and work.
Richard (*asks) : really ?
Annie : yeah. i wanted ask you something about Laura here.
Richard (*asks) : what is it ?
Annie : Laura is becoming a certified nurse after we graduate together.
Annie : and she has nowhere else go afterwards.
Annie : so i was wondering if she could come with us to Hong Kong to work.
Annie : as one of the nurses at the clinics.
Richard (*asks Laura) : did you ask Annie to do this ?
Laura : absolutely not sir.
Annie : i was the one who suggested it to her.
Richard (*asks Laura) : and your parents are okay with you leaving to Hong Kong if i let you ?
Laura : i don't have any parents sir.
Laura : they died when i was young and i lived on my own since.
Richard : im sorry to hear that.
Laura : its okay.
Annie (*asks Richard) : so dad, can she come with us ?
Richard (*asks Laura) : where will you go once me and Annie leave to Korea permanently ?
Laura : i wanted to ask you that sir.
Richard (*asks Laura) : what is it ?
Laura (*asks) : if i love working in Hong Kong, can i stay there permanently ?
Laura : if i don't like it there,
Laura : can i come with you and Annie to Korea to work as a nurse ?
Laura : at the hospital.
Richard (*says to Laura) : your very loyal with these kind of things.
Richard : i want to consider it but since you are my daughters best friend,
Richard : i'll let you come.
Richard : Asia is no different from the U.S. we do things the right way and with a degree.
Richard : its all professional, as you know.
Laura : yes sir. i understand.
Richard : then you should get packing if you want to leave to Hong Kong.
Laura (*says with a smile) : thank you so much sir.

Annie smiled and were happy that her best friend was going to be by her side in working. After eating lunch together, Annie went to work while Richard went to a meeting. Laura also went back to her last class of the day at school.

[8PM] Work was over for Annie. She ordered some food togo from the diner before clocking out to leave. She drove home with the food in her hands as she walked through the door into the kitchen. She saw her dad sitting in the dining room looking through some papers about work. They talked among themselves as enjoying each other's company while eating.

Richard (*asks) : so hows work ?
Annie : it was great. the customers today were so friendly.
Richard : thats good to hear.
Annie (*asks): so how was your day ?
Richard : i went to a meeting for the hospital in Korea.
Richard : we were talking about improvements to the hospital and maybe the clinics as well.
Annie : thats wonderful news.
Annie : i actually have something to tell you too.
Richard (*asks) : what is it ?
Annie : Mr. and Mrs. Tuan planned out small getaway vacation for us.
Annie : because Mark is coming home to LA for a month with his members too.
Richard : that sounds like fun.
Richard (*asks) : where are you guys going ?
Annie : to Vegas for a week.
Richard : wow, the city that never sleeps.
Annie : yeah.
Richard (*asks) : so when are you guys leaving ?
Annie : well, Mark and his members comes here on Saturday night.
Annie : but we are leaving the morning of.
Richard (*asks) : Sunday ?
Annie : yeah.
Richard (*asks) : what time are you leaving ? how are you going to get there ?
Annie : we are leaving at 12PM and driving there with a 16 seated van.
Richard : it sounds more like a road trip to me.
Annie : it is.
Richard (*asks) : what are you going to do about your classes ?
Annie : ive talked to my professors about it and their letting me come in the next few days
Annie : to catch up on the lectures when i go away.
Annie : that way i can be right on track for the finals.
Richard : thats good your taking care of it.
Richard (*asks) : and graduation ?
Annie : well, the final exam is the Tuesday we come back and graduation is that Friday.
Richard : Ah i see. so we will be leaving on that Friday night then.
Annie : yes, we will.
Richard (*asks) : are you excited to graduate and coming with me to Asia to work ?
Annie : of course i am.
Annie (*asks) : when i leave for the trip for the week, can you help me look after the house ?
Richard : of course, i will.

They finished eating for the night and went to bed.

For the last few days, Annie Annie packed her valuable things into suitcases so that when she comes back from her vacation, she is really to leave to Asia. She has also told Liz to work for her for the week when she leaves.

The end of the week came.
