Laura turned her back to see Annie and she was resting her head because she was sick. Annie woke up and slowly walked to the kitchen to drink her medications again. She felt more lightheaded and dizzy. So Annie fell onto the ground loudly. Laura ran towards Annie as she hears the noise from the kitchen. Mark followed Laura to the kitchen and helped Annie wake up again but she wouldnt. Mark and Laura took Annie to the hospital. They were so worried for Annie and why she was so sick. They waited for the Doctor to be done checking up on Annie. The Doctor came out to speak with Laura and Mark about Annie's condition.

Doctor (*comes out with a clipboard & asks) : are you two Miss Annie Lee's guardian ?
Laura : we are her close friends.
Mark (*asks the Doctor) : is Annie going to be alright ?
Doctor : Miss Lee will be alright. she just needed some rest, thats all.
Doctor : because of her high fever,
Doctor : we need to keep her here until the fever has gone down.
Doctor : afterwards, we will discharge her.
Laura : Okay, thank you Doctor.
Doctor : also, i have called her father letting him know Annie's condition.
Mark (*asks) : you know her father Doctor ?
Doctor : Annie's father use to work with me in the past as interns.
Mark : i see.
Doctor : you can go in once the nurse is done giving Annie medicine.
Laura : thank you so much.

The Doctor left to his job in the next room. Laura and Mark walked into the room to visit Annie. Laura looked at Annie's hand where her ring was and looked over to Mark who has the same ring too. Mark leaned towards Annie and held onto her hands.

During this time, Annie was sleeping in her dreams.

[DREAM] Annie stood in the middle of a park. Kids were everywhere playing happily and Annie looked at them with a smile. Her mother (Kwon Nayoung) appeared next to Annie and she speaks.

Nayoung (*says as standing there holding Annie's hand) : you've grown up so well.
Annie (*looks over to Nayoung & says) : Mom.
Annie (*asks) : why am i here ? am i dead too ?
Nayoung : no honey, your not dead.
Annie : i dont remember being here at all.
Nayoung : i used to bring you here when you were a little girl.
Nayoung : you played for hours out here, you loved it.
Annie (*smiles & says) : the kids here were so nice.
Annie (*asks) : why did i come here ?
Nayoung : to revisit your past.
Nayoung : you are really lucky to have people by your side who cares so much for you.
Nayoung : Mark, Laura, and everyone else.
Annie (*asks) : do you know about Dad ? he's back mom.
Nayoung : i knew long ago and i know that he's back.
Annie (*looks at Nayoung & asks) : did you lead him to me ?
Nayoung : i did every possible thing i could think of but it was him who actually remembered.
Nayoung : he remembered about you and found you.
Annie : this feels unreal.
Nayoung : thats because you are asleep in your dream.
Nayoung : you were admitted to the hospital when you fainted.
Nayoung : Mark and Laura brough you to the hospital.
Nayoung : you need to wake up now and see all of your friends.
Nayoung : im so proud of you for taking this path and doing what you love Annie.
Nayoung : i'll be waiting here for you.
Annie : i wish you were really here with me and Dad.
Nayoung : i wish so too. take good care of yourself and be with your Dad.
Nayoung : bye Annie.

Nayoung disappeared leaving Annie there.

[DREAM OVER] Then she woke up from her dream. Annie slowly opened up her eyes to see Mark on her left side while Laura was on her right side. Annie smiled at the both of them. She was lucky to have them by her side. Annie turned her head to Laura and said...

Annie (*asks Laura) : can you give me a minute ?
Annie : i want to talk to Mark alone.
Laura : okay.

Laura walked outside sitting on the chairs waiting. Annie sat up from laying down. She began to say to Mark....

Annie : i don't know what to do anymore.
Mark (*asks) : what are you talking about ?
Annie : one moment you say that you want to start dating Jennie and the next,
Annie : we end up getting married. i dont know where we should go from here.
Annie : its like your a different person now.
Annie (*asks) : what do you really want Mark ?
Mark : i dont know what i want but i want you to get better.
Mark : i know what your going to say next.
Annie (*asks) : what am i going to say next ?
Mark : your going to say how you want to be with someone who knows what they want.
Mark : and that someone who cares for you.
Annie : im really confused by the actions you did yesterday.
Annie : i confessed to you Mark and all i get from you is nothing.
Annie : i dont want to keep doing this anymore.
Mark (*asks) : what do you want to do from here ?
Annie (*looks at Mark & says) : i want time to think about everything if thats okay with you.
Mark (*smiles & says) : sure. i'll give you that space.

Mark stood up and walked out of the room to the park in front of the hospital to think. Laura saw Mark leave the room and walked inside to see Annie. She sat beside Annie as she rested in bed. While Mark was at the park across the street, he thought about what he had done and what he had said to Annie.
