Prologue: Friends
TWO YEARS AGO
Kayla came home from school. She was depressed. She was really shy, so she had a hard time talking to people face-to-face. She went to her room and got on her computer.She started to do her homework.
Later, she was on the internet when an ad popped up. It was for a free pen pal website. She shrugged and typed in the website. She filled out the profile questionaire. Two minutes later, a chat window popped up.
Someone called KpopKingKa300 wanted to talk to her. Kayla quickly glanced over his profile and noticed they had a lot in common. They both liked to dance, and they both enjoyed listening to music. There was other stuff too.
Kayla started talking to him.
PRESENT DAY
KAYLA'S POV
I couldn't believe that it has been two years since I started talking to KpopKing. I found out that his real name is Jinki, but everyone calls him Onew. He belonged to a Kpop group known as SHINee. He has been sending me all of their CDs. He even sends me videos of their performances that he recorded himself.
Onew has done a lot for my confidence. I have four friends besides Onew. Their names are China, Jamie, Joy and Fay. My friends and I won an all-expense paid trip to South Korea. I couldn't believe that I was going to get to see Onew face-to-face.
