I love you, when you're in blue

1 Month Later,
"Her eyes, so pretty, and when she smiles, boys go crazy over her. Instead of facing racism, she's showered with love by all, classmates, seniors, teachers, I guess everyone loves her!" Jinyul nudged her head into Hongbin's shoulder while they were sitting on the couch. "I hate her already."
"And why are we talking about her if you hate her?" Hongbin mumbled, settling his cheek over her head. "If you'd like, I can play guitar for you."
"That won't cheer me up." She drew back and glared at him with intensity.
"What?" Hongbin shrugged.
"She's my no.1 problem." Jinyul uttered.
"I thought it was Hyemi." Hongbin poked her cheeks.
"Don't you!" She shoved back his hand and he giggled.
"You look so cute when you're jealous!" Hongbin tugged on her shirt and pulled her to kiss her.
"Hongbin!" She yelled and stood up before falling for his trick. "She's my focus for this moment. I have to find a way to cause her downfall!"
Hongbin stood annoyed. "For this one month, we've discussed nothing but that damn Lim! Why are you so obsessed with defeating her!"
"I am always like this Hongbin." She smirked at him and then folded her arms over her chest. "I should be at the top. There's no other way to satisfy me. Being the girlfriend of the most handsome guy in this city is one of the things that keep me contented too." She walked to him. "If you don't want to hear my problems, fine." She raised her head and gave a peck on his nose. "Go deal with your issues." She flipped her hair and turned around.
Hongbin pulled her arm back and stared at her.
"What Hongbin!"
"You'll have to change now or then." He titled his face with hot anger.
She rolled her eyes back and looked back at him. "You know who's in charge." She smirked again.
"Excuse me..." A guy barged in. "Did I interrupt?"
"Aniyo... Please come in Ravi-ssi." Jinyul smiled. "By the way, I am leaving Hongbin, better call me later sweety. I miss you so much." She stared back with puppy eyes at Hongbin.
"I will." Hongbin replied indifferently.
She gave him a quick hug and a kiss on his cheek. He stood still, not responding to any of her act. "K bye." She left the room.
Hongbin slumped down on the couch. He giggled.
"What's the matter dumbo!" Ravi pushed him to the side and took most of the space on the couch.
"You're right, I am dumb!"
"Hongbin..." Ravi looked at him. "So, have you decided yet about this Jinyul girl? She doesn't deserve you."
"Ahah... No Ravi, she's fine."
"She's just beautiful outside." Ravi said indifferently and then stood up to leave for his room.
She was extremely beautiful outside. Jinyul had really sharp features which Hongbin loved. Being bored of all the cute girlfriends he had in highschool, he was glad to find a girl who was not cute but damn attractive. Thinking of losing her often made him insane. Along with sharp features her innerself was agonizing too. All of her goals led her to the ultimate perfect life. Where all followed her and she was considered above all. And in order to attain the excellence, she had to put others down this way or the other. Hyemi had been her problem, since Hongbin met her. And all of a sudden, all she talked about was a rural caucasian girl. "Poor girl." Hongbin muttered and smiled just at the thought of Jinyul harming her. She had been successful many times in case of Hyemi, causing Hyemi to come second to everything. Hongbin was sure, Jinyul would find a good way to get rid of Lim.
Next Morning,
"Hurry up, just hurry up Ravi!" Hongbin yelled at his friend.
Ravi was the one driving th car hastily. "Calm down!"
Hongbin had to present his important thesis work at 9 am and they were late for the university. "I am dead." Hongbin face palmed.
"Ofcourse you are! Who told you to drink that much on weekend?"
"Shut up and drive fast." Hongbin insisted.
"I am! Don't just go on ordering me."
"I just missed the bus, today's a really bad day."
"Imagine if Jaeri didn't lend us her car..."
"I don't want to imagine worst scenarios."
But worst scenario was ready, waiting for them to encounter it. Ravi was half asleep too since both drank the whole night. Ravi saw a vague figure of a frightened girl crossing the road hesitatingly. He didn't care about the speed of the car and within next second the vague figure became more clear and she was still standing in middle of the road looking around confused and extremely frightened.
"RAVI! STOP THE CAR IDIOT!" Hongbin yelled but he was late and Ravi pulled the brake after the girl got hit and fell down on the road. "DAMN RAVI!" Hongbin ran his fingers through his haphazard hair. "I am busted." He murmured.
Both of the guys came out and soon a crowd gathered around. The girl went unconscious and her forehead was bleeding. Her nose and arms were bruised.
"CARELESS BOYS!" An ahjussi yeld at them.
"DAMN RAVI!" Hongbin hit Ravi's arm. "Pick her up and take her to hospital."
"Ok, What about your thesis?"
"I'll take the taxi."
"Ok..." Ravi hurried to the girl and picked her up, putting her at the back seat. He then sat at the driver's seat and rushed to the hospital.
While Hongbin took the taxi and hurried to the university. He was 1 hour late when he reached the university. "I am doomed." He murmured as he was in front of professor's office room. He cleared is throat and fixed his tie, entering his room after knocking.
"May I come in?" Hongbin politely asked for his professor's consent, which he usually didn't care about in normal days.
"Please.... Please sir, Please enter." The professor taunted.
"I am really sorry but I had reasons."
"Fu** reasons Hongbin. I knew you were careless but I told you I won't spare this time." The professor nagged and refused to take his thesis.
"Gimme last chance." Hongbin knelt down.
"The other students who worked with you, will be credited but not you."
"I said I had a serious reason. I had to take an injured girl to the hospital. The car ran away after hitting her and no one was willing to help her."
"People these days...." The professor huffed as he believed his partially true story. "Ok... since the problem was serious... tell me briefly about your thesis and I'll credit you."
The moment he won, he stood up and smirked forming a dimple on his left cheek. If Jinyul was vile, Hongbin was her boyfriend for a reason. He was not as nasty as Jinyul, but close. After all, according to him, the accident was Ravi's fault and his problem. Hongbin wasn't concerned at all about the girl and Ravi. He had submitted his thesis and presented it, task for today accomplished, what else could be better than this. Nobody cared anyway.
