Love Me or Love Me Not

Wedding Planning

Hana has been living in the house for two weeks with Mark, and she has got to say that she finds him nothing but annoying. Always bugging her, and never knocking before he enters. One day he saw her in her bra and panties, and all he did was stand there and smirk. Hana couldn’t believe it so she just screamed at him to get out and threw a pillow at him. That was two days ago, and she still is giving him the silent treatment. Several times she tried to go back and live her parents, but they always told her to go home and try get along with Mark.
The house wasn’t bad though it wasn’t too big or too small. It was just right for two people to live in and she has to say that her future mother in law does have good taste. The kitchen was nicely sized, and the master bedroom was beautiful. Even though she slept in the guest room because she refused to share a bed with a certain someone, but she can say that the house was really comfortable and nicely decorated. Hana heard the front door and she frowned knowing who it was behind it.
“Hana hubby is home!” Mark stared at her waiting for a response, but Hana just glared at him.
“Oh come on it has been two days! I already said I was sorry! Besides our mothers are coming here to help us plan the wedding, so you’re going to have to talk to me eventually.”
“What? They are coming here? Wait when? Oh gosh they are probably going to take me dress shopping.” Hana sulked. She hated the experience of spending hours having to try on clothes and shoes.
“Oh yea there is other news too. Umm… they also decided to make the wedding date to be in 2 weeks instead of a month.”
“WHAT! Why? How are we going to plan a wedding in 2 weeks?”
“You’re asking me I don’t know. Just ask them when they get here all I have to do is show up and wear a suit.” Mark shrugged.
Hana groaned. She couldn’t believe her luck in 2 weeks she was going to be a married woman. They would probably drive her crazy with wedding plans and fittings. She just couldn’t wait to get it all over with.
The doorbell rang and Hana looked at Mark to go get it, but of course being the idiot he was he just stood there waiting for her to get it. She rolled her eyes and got the door.
“Hana dear hi! Where’s Mark?”
“Hi Mrs. Tuan It’s nice to see you. Is my mom with you?”
“Here I am I’m glad to see living with Mark hasn’t made you forget about me.” She laughed.
Hana awkwardly laughed then pushed Mark toward the older ladies.
“Hey Mrs. Lee . Don’t worry I won’t let Hana forget you.” He smirked.
Hana just scowled and made her way to the kitchen.
“Anyone want some water or snacks?” Hana asked.
“Actually I wouldn’t mind a sandwich.”
“Let me rephrase that question, anyone besides Mark want some snacks?”
“Hana be nice! You’re going to be his wife soon! Are you going to starve him?” Mrs. Lee scolded.
Hana scowled and made her way to the kitchen. She took out ingredients then faced Mark.
“Hey how do you want your sandwich?” she muttered.
“What was that I couldn’t hear you?” he smirked.
“How do you want your sandwich? She said a bit louder.
“That’s better. I don’t want one I’m not hungry. Thanks though.”
Hana wanted to shake him. “Yah you just said you wanted one!”
“Well I change my mind I don’t want it anymore. I lost the taste for it.”
Hana made her way to the kitchen and put away the ingredients loudly, banging cabinets and draws.
“Yah Wifey try not to break anything if you don’t mind!” he shouted.
“Whatever!” Hana finally made it back to the living room and sat down on the couch a distance away from Mark.
“So anyway Hana and Mark you guys are going to go shopping for your wedding clothes. We have some invitations and plans to take care of so please go and send us pictures so we can give our opinions too.”
“Oh Mom why can’t you just go with her and help her pick dresses?” Mark whined.
“Because I said you should go so just hush and go!” Mrs. Tuan shouted.
“Fine let’s go Hana. I just want to get this over with.” Mark grabbed the car keys and headed out the door.
Mark stepped into the wedding dress shop, and looked around then he looked at Hana.
“Okay pick a dress and let’s get out here. Honestly you’re only going to wear it once. What’s the big deal?” Mark stated.
“Even if I’m getting married to you, I still want to look beautiful on my wedding day. Too bad it’s not with my dream guy.” Hana sighed.
“Hey I’m as good as it gets. You’re lucky to have me next to you. Most girls would jump at this chance to be with me.”
Hana scoffed. “Whatever I’m not most girls because I have better taste then those girls.”
Mark rolled his eyes. “Can we just get this over with I just want to go home.”
“Honestly I rather be here then dealing with our moms and their wedding planning.”
“Good point. Never mind take your time. Find your dream dress I guess.”
“Does the dress come with a better guy too?” Hana smirked.
“Yah you’re going to fall in love with me the minute you see me in my handsome suit when you walk down the aisle. “
“Yea right I’ll probably have to hold in my tears from my despair of having to marry you.”
The saleslady approached Hana and Mark while they were in mid argument, and she cleared her throat.
“Excuse me is there anything I can help you with?” she asked.
Hana turned around and stared at the sales lady who wasn’t even paying attention to her, but too busy staring down Mark.
“Hana stood in front of Mark and waved at the sales lady who frowned.
“Yes my fiancée and I would like to find a dress for our wedding in 2 weeks.”
The sales lady looked disappointed and slightly glared at Hana. “Ah yes okay well follow me. What is your budget?”
After Hana explained her budget and the kind of dresses she had in mind the sales lady handed her some dresses to try on.
She tried the first dress then walked out. “Hey Mark what do you think?”
Mark glanced up and frowned. “I don’t like this one. It’s too much going on especially with the flower. Try the next one.”
Hana tried the second dress. “What do you think of this one? I think it’s too short.”
Mark smirked. He stared at Hana’s legs, and looked up at her only to see her glare at him. “Well I think it’s a winner.”
Han rolled her eyes. “Well too bad I don’t like it. So off I go to the next one.”
“Suit yourself. If that’s what you want to do.” Mark shrugged.
Hana tried on the third dress, and something about this dress took her breath away. She felt like a queen in this dress. This dress felt like it was made for her. She went out to get Mark’s opinion though.
“What do you think?” she asked.
Mark looked up and his jaw dropped. She looked absolutely beautiful in that dress. It fit all her curves in all the right ways. It even made her breasts look dreamy as the swoop line in her neck came down in a way that teased him making his pants feel kind of tight. Mark swallowed and looked away.
“Yea that dress looks the best out of all of them. I think you should get this one.” Mark blushed.
“Yea I think you’re right I really like this one I’ll get it.” Hana called over the sales lady and purchased her dress.
“Okay off to find a suit for you now.” Hana said.
Mark only nodded still mesmerized by the vision of her in that dress.
Mark didn’t nearly take as long as Hana to make his choice. So after he bought his tuxedo, they decided to head out for lunch.
Mark went to order their food, and then he remembered something that made him smirk.
“Hey Hana were you jealous when the sales lady checked me out? I was just wondering since you seemed so determined to mention to her that I was your fiancée and firmly mentioned our wedding was in 2 weeks.” Mark chuckled.
Hana blushed and looked away and tried to change the subject. “Wow the sky looks so blue today. Doesn’t it Mark?”
“Don’t change the subject and I heard you stutter.” Mark was trying so hard to hold in his laughter.
“Whatever shame on her for hitting on a taken man.” Hana explained.
“Oh so now I’m your man?” Mark grinned.
Hana blushed and looked at the waiter who saved her and came with the food. They both ate in silence and then got ready to go home.
Mark couldn’t help but think that maybe marrying Hana wouldn’t be so bad after all. He did have fun today even though at first he dreaded having to go shopping with her. Mark smiled thinking about how cute she could be, and also sexy after seeing her in that wedding dress she bought.
Hana stole a glance at Mark and started to wonder was she falling for him? Or was she confused? She couldn’t help but wonder why she got so possessive when sales lady checked out Mark? Mark drove her crazy that’s for sure, but sometimes he was also a gentlemen and someone she could count on. She also had to admit he was attractive even if she wished she didn’t think that since she didn’t want to boost his ego more than it already was. Maybe she just was tired and just needed some sleep. Yeah she was sure that after some sleep she would be back to her senses again.
