As Blind As Could Be...

“And on this episode of ‘Hurry Up, Brother,’ we have a special guest from South Korea!”

“Oppa! I don’t want to go.” You whine. “They’re going to be there.”

“You think I want you to do this? I don’t. Seriously. But there’s nothing we can do. You and Chanyeol opened up to the public and this is your punishment from President Lee.” Lay ruffles your hair. “You already know what he’s capable of doing anything… you guys did it without thinking… just be strong.”

“How am I supposed to when I know I’m going to freeze once I see them?” You shake yourself.

“Hey, I hooked you up with Wong Cho-lam’s phone number. Did you text him?” Lay asks ignoring your complaint.

“Yes Oppa, I did. But that’s not the problem.” You pout once more.

“Calm down, everything’s going to be okay. If you need anything or if anything happens, call me. I’ll come to pick you up as soon as possible. I promise.” Lay takes your hands and holds them in his.

“AUGH!” You scream loudly, flicking away your hands dramatically. “This is so annoying.”

“Yah, don’t show any fear or guilt or anything. Just show everyone how strong and bold you are, don’t show them your weakness.” Lay smiles.

“But… what if-” You start.

“Luhan and Wu Yifan aren’t that bad are they?” Lay puts a hand on your shoulder.

“They left me. Of course they are bad.” You say slowly and cutely.

“It’s not their fault.” Lay sighs.

“Then is it mine?” You brush his hand away and walk out of the hotel, ignoring Lay’s next move, going to your next promotion.

You show up to the company and get changed into running man clothes. You wore a white thick tank top, black tights with short short black running shorts (with white lining) over them. You see a baggy red jacket and a normal sportswear red jacket. Figuring it was cold outside, you put the red baggy jacket on, which made you look as cute as a button. You wore no makeup at all, but still you looked gorgeous. You only put moisturizer on with SPF 50+. Your hair was tied up and there was no fly-away hairs sticking out. You had black running shoes, nikes.

“We’re ready for your introduction, Honey-shi.”

“Okay. I am too.” You wink.

“Who’s next?” Angelababy asks.

You see someone come in front of you and you hesitate. He looks at you with the same expression, then smiles. You see the bracelet on his hand.

“That’s my bracelet.” You say.

“That’s by jacket.” Kris says at the same time as you.

The doors opens and confetti cannons shoot. The running man cast expect to see you and Kris walk together, but you two just stay frozen, looking at each other.

“Huang Zitao gave me this bracelet… I’m guessing he got it from you.” Kris coughs, awkwardly.

The confetti died down and the cast saw who it clearly was.

“I grabbed it on accident. I thought it was for me sorry.” You say, taking it off, but he stops you.

“It’s fine. I’ll just… It’s too late now.” Kris reassures you. “After you?”

You bow. “It’s really great to see you, Wu Yifan.”

You walk down the “red carpet” placed there and give a warm smile. The cast cheers you on and you bow, greeting them all.

You hug Angela because you saw her before, but with the rest of EXO and when Kris and Luhan were still in the group… which was two years ago.

“Long time no see!” Angela smiles.

You and Kris introduce yourselves.

“Nín hǎo wǒ shì Honey. It’s nice to meet all of you.” You bow, smile and wave at the camera.

“Nín hǎo wǒ shì Wu Yifan.” Kris bows.

The rest of the guests come out. You were partnered with Luhan… but you haven’t spoken to him since your birthday, which was months ago. You stand next to Luhan.

“Yahhh we texted yesterday! I didn’t realize you were coming!” Wong Cho-lam points at you.

“What?” You smile. “I didn’t either until this morning.”

There was laughter.

“Who hooked you up?” Deng Chao asks. “Wong Cho-lam when did you get so social?”
There was more laughter.

“Zhang Yixing gave me his number and… yeah, like this.” You explain.

After the first scene was over, you took a break. Everyone walks into the garage to get into the cars. Luhan first, then Kris, then you. Luhan waits and shakes his hands with Kris, patting his back. Luhan puts an arm over you and smiles, walking with you to the car (your partner's lol). The fans awaiting record this happening.

This scene... Your body was blocked by Kris' and you and Luhan are walking together.




Once you were out of fan sight and sight in general, you stop and hug Luhan.

“I missed you so much.” You say, breathing on his neck.

“We’ve both been busy, you can’t help it. I miss you too.” Luhan replies. “I can’t believe your actually here right now.”

You laugh and let go of the embrace.

“Let’s go.” Luhan holds out his hand.

You interlock your hand with his and head to the car. The VJ turns the camera on once you get into the garage. He opens the door for you and you get inside, letting go of your interlock. He closes your door and heads into the driver’s seat. The VJ gets in the back seat. There are installed car cameras.

“How’ve you been lately?” Luhan asks driving out of the garage, being the last car out.

“Busy, like you said earlier. I’ve been really busy with all the promotions in China, as well as performing with Lay and trying to find the time to see the boys, I mean the other members.” You correct yourself. “What about you?”

“I’ve been here, on the show and filming movies, that’s pretty much it.” Luhan replies.

“Oh! Speaking of which, I saw your recent movies.” You smile.

“Really? What did you think?” Luhan returns his smile.

“I cried.” You laugh. “To be honest. I don’t know I just cried.”

“Aww really? You did?” He takes a hand off the wheel and twirls your hair.

“Yah!” You say in Korean and tickle him.

“Okay, okay I’m sorry.” He laughs (in Korean). “Oh I miss these times.”

It suddenly became serious.

“Me too.” You reply sighing. “It’s been years.”

You arrive at the destination being the last “couple” there. Everyone was in the building and when you enter the room their in, their backs are facing you. Once you see the person you haven’t seen in forever, you scream, scaring everyone. They turn back and stare at you. Luhan looks at you worried. The man stands there confused, not realising who you were.

“HUANG ZITAOOOOOOO!” You jump and run to him.

“YEOWANG!” He smiles and looks down for a second.




You jump-hug him so tight and he spins you once.

“YAH! YOU!” Deng Chao points. “You scared the shit out of me!” Everyone laughs, on tv the cursing is beeped out.

“I’ve never seen someone so excited to see anyone in my life.” Ryan or Zheng Kai says. “Michael (Chenhe) sees me everyday in the morning and he doesn’t even acknowledge me. It’s like I’m no there.”

The laughter grows.

“And when we start recording, he finally says, ‘Oh, you came? I didn’t see you.’ And I reply, ‘You were staring at me minutes ago!’”

By this time you, Luhan and Tao were on the floor laughing. You, out of habit from Sehun start slamming the floor with your hands, laughing. Luhan was the loudest laughing.

It was an indoor waterpark. Once everything was settled down, everyone stood in a line, with their couples. It was hot in the water park so you took your… Kris’ baggy jacket off and hands it to the PD. They hand you a red, loose tank top to go over your white one.

“Wow! She’s showing off!” Jerry, or Li Chen teases.

You laugh and bow in embarrassment. He was talking about your bicep and tricep linings. You all stand in the shallow area of the water.

“Do you see that platform behind you?” The PD asks.

You all turn around and saw a floating platform in the water. You then turn back.

“The first mission is ‘Love Island.’ Everyone will be dancing facing us, or the camera. When the music stops and the whistle blows, the women will run towards the floater. The men will run around the path, going up the stairs, following the R path. If you see, there is a diving board in the middle, the men will jump into the middle and save their partner. And the couple that stayed on the floater the longest, or three seconds, with the bridal-carry pose is the winner.” He explains.

“It’s dance time!” Luhan smiles and the music starts.

Everyone claps their hands and moves along with the beat of the music. You were the youngest, so you went pushed out into the middle of the curvy circle they created.

You blush, but so get serious. You pop, break dance, twist and leap jump, ending off strongly by pulling Luhan out.

“Ayeeee!” They cheer you on and are amazed on how you pulled Luhan out.

He does his “Good Good” dance and motions you to join in.

“1, 2, 3! I got that good good I got that got that good good.” You sing/harmonize with him for a couple times and everyone cheers.

“Wow! WOW! Couple GOALLLLLLS~” Angelababy comments and everyone laughs. “Your voices sound good together.”

“Ah gamsahabnida, oh wait, sorry.” You blush as everyone laughs. “Thank you~”

Everyone starts dancing and feeling the rhythm. Then suddenly the whistle blows and everyone starts to run off.

The girls go to the yellow platform, while the boys go around the pool and jump from the diving board behind.






Luhan and Deng Chao are the first ones to jump off from the diving board. They both dive, but the others just jump. Tao is the only one who didn’t jump.

You and Angela are the first ones to get on the platform. You truce and push off the other girls who tried to get on. Chenhe tries to get on the platform but you and Baby work together and kiss his face (not on purpose) and he falls backwards. You notice Tao was still up on the diving board.

“Go already!” You scream and everyone turns their attention to him (except Luhan).

“I’m scared!” He says cutely and everyone laughs.

Wong Cho-lam chokes on water from laughing. You notice Luhan’s actions. While everyone was distracted, he go on the yellow platform. (When they edit this out, they first put it in slow motion, then replay it to normal speed). You push Baby off the platform, and the same time, Luhan picks you up bridal style. Baby’s splash in the water brings the attention back to the platform. They see you and Luhan being the only ones on there, standing in victory. Deng Chao, Zheng Kai and Jerry pull on Luhan’s feet, making you and him fall off the platform. Fortunately though, it’s been more than three seconds and the whistle blows just before they pull you down into the water.

The camera underwater films. Because of the force they used to pull you and Luhan into the water, Luhan falls on top of you in the water and you both go to the bottom, unexpectedly. Everything happens so fast you forget you were underwater. Luhan opens his eyes and sees you not moving. He takes your hand and swims to the shallow area. The others didn’t realize Luhan took you to the shore area and look for you everywhere.

They look up once they hear you coughing. You and Luhan are out of the water, a towel around you. Luhan stands in front of you patting your back.

“Are you okay?” Deng Chao asks.

“What happened?” Zheng Kai asks.

“You guys pulled us down to roughly, the water hit her hard.” Luhan points over and over again at them in fury.

They come out and check you (the ones that took you and Luhan down).

“I’m okay, don’t worry.” You laugh. “It’s not that bad.”

“Did it hurt?” Weng Cho-lam looks at you worried.

“Sorry.” Li Chen, or Jerry apologises.

They all apologize and you laugh.

“There’s nothing to be sorry for.” You reply.

You and Luhan wins the first round, A. By penalty from other players and B. Because you and Luhan actually won lol.

Tao didn’t goes in the water yet. Kris shakes his head and secretly smiles. They decide to reflect on the first round before starting the second.

“Yah! What was that?” Angela says to you, teasingly, who was sitting on the side with Luhan’s arm around your shoulder. “We had a truce and you pushed me off!”

Everyone laughs.

“I’m sorry.” You smile and bow from your position.

“Méiyǒu (No, or ‘ani’ in korean), we made a truce before the game started and it was all good. I was helping her and she was helping me and we were preventing the girls and guys from coming onto the platform and then suddenly I find myself in the water.” She laughs and everyone follows.

“Méiyǒu, méiyǒu, méiyǒu, it was a good chance, so why not take it? One of us had to win anyways.” You stick your tongue out cutely.

“Can’t I just go in with the girls? I’m scared to jump off from the water.” Tao laughs cutely.

“Yah! Your suppose to be a man what the heck!” Li Chen says and everyone laughs, especially Kris. “How are you suppose to win if you can’t even make it into the water?”

Everyone started arguing and out of nowhere the whistle blows. Everyone starts running off again.

“What is this! I thought you said there was music first! You cruelll-” He was yelling at the PD and workers as he was running to the diving board, he jumps into the water and doesn’t finish his sentence.

You laugh, get up and start running, not far behind the boys. All the guys start to jump in and Tao stands at the edge, afraid, once again. You pop out and push Tao off the edge. He turns as he falls and takes you down with him.

“Yaahhh-” You scream but get cut off by the water.

You swim fast back to shore and Luhan waits there. He puts the towel around you again. He uses his own towel and dries your ponytail with it.

“At least you got him into the water.” Luhan laughs, you laugh along.

“Thank you, Luhan-shi, you didn’t have to do that.” You smile.

“Luhan… shi? Not Oppa?” Luhan hesitates and moves you to an area where cameras couldn’t see you or hear you well (weren’t wearing mics).

“What’s with the formalities.” Luhan asks.

“I don’t know… isn’t that how it’s suppose to be on a variety show? Luhan-shi?” You reply.

“Am I not an Oppa to you anymore? Am I just your partner for a short period of time and then you and I go separate ways?” Luhan asks.

“That is what happened before. I guess it could happen again.” You sigh.

I’m fighting with him, aren’t I… You think.

“Happened before? What do you-” Luhan was about to finish, but he realizes what you were talking about. “Yah. I had my reasons to why I left S.M. You and me… our relationship we had… and might still have, that was only one reason. I CHOSE to leave S.M. It wasn’t you and the guys that made me… you were just helping me leave quicker.”

Luhan ruffles his hair, speaking to you in Korean.

He changed the language so no one there knew what you two were saying… but they didn’t know where you were in the first place.

“This is why I didn’t want to see you or Kris.” You crack your neck.

“Huang Zitao too?” Luhan folds his arms. “You wanted to see him and not me?”

“Eo. I did Luhan-shi.” You stare into his eyes. “Because when he left, he wasn’t thinking about himself. He wasn’t selfish. He didn’t leave the group because of a relationship problem. He didn’t leave the group because he banged the leader. He didn’t leave by choice. You left. Kris left. Tao left. It ended the same way, but there were different stories behind them. Tao’s story is the only story that has innocence. You and Kris chose to leave, but Tao had no choice... because of that bastard Lee Sooman.”

You brush past Luhan and walk back to the set.

“But I’m still here! I didn’t leave you.” Luhan replies, turning around, stopping you from walking any further.

“No you left for good!” You reply, raising your voice. “You left us there and we watched you leave. They hated you because of your stupid manipulative actions you have. That’s probably why your so good at acting! It’s because you show your true self in those movies. You show the viewers how you never act in real life. You only ever helped me once Luhan. That was my birthday. Other than that, you’ve been a jerk. You left EXO. You left us… You left me. You ran away from the problem. You didn’t face it. And you can’t run away from me.”

“Your the one walking away from me right now!” Luhan yells, grabbing the attention from everyone.

“Because your not my problem.” You say calmly and walk back.

They look at you with confused eyes and you laugh.

“Sorry about that… just personal problems… yeah… that’s the way you should think of it. Personal problems.” You bow and smile.

This part was cut out of the episode… luckily. Tao looks at you with worried eyes. Kris looks at you and Tao, having a conversation with your eyes. Luhan comes back, depressed and annoyed.

You were off to your next location. Before you got into the car, you put Kris’ jacket back on. It was freezing outside. You and Luhan rode together, without a VJ, turning the cameras off in the car.

“I’m sorry about earlier.” You say. “I got too carried away… for the first day.”

“Me too.” Luhan sighs. “I apologize.”

“I’m glad your solo career was successful. But I’m being honest I miss the old days. Everything’s changed, too much has happened. All of these memories scar my wounded heart each day. And this right now isn’t a help.” You fold your fingers together.

“What do you mean?” Luhan asks. “How isn’t it helping? Am I not helpful?”

“Luhan, your a huge one. But to be honest I didn’t want to see you. It’s too hard to face you and Wu Yifan and unexpectedly Huang Zitao at the same time. I didn’t want to come her, but President Lee is making me do this as a punishment.” You rubs your hair.

“You didn’t want to see me?” Luhan saddens. “I guess… if you have your reasons. I understand that it’s awkward and our history now… makes us together awkward. Why were you punished?”

“Chanyeol and I opened up to the public… we’re dati-”

“You did what?” Luhan’s eyes widen. “It’s not a scandal? It’s for real? I-I-I what? Why? You should be punished. You shouldn’t be with Chanyeol, you should be with m- (me)... you shouldn’t be in a relationship at all! Too many people like you and want you and want to be with you and love you and, and and…. WHAT?”

“...I didn’t expect this type of reaction from you. Is there something wrong?” You ask, slowly.

Luhan scoffs and suddenly laughs, changing his attitude.

“I hate you.” He says. “I regret moving to Korea for my high school years. I regret meeting you. I regret joining the Music club and becoming apart of EXO. I regret letting you especially you be in my life… being my first. I would’ve been better off without you. I could’ve gone to college and focus on futbol (soccer). I was never good at singing. You were the one that kept me going in the Music club. I hate that you are so freaking blind you can’t even seen my love and affection for you! I hate that you ended up with Chanyeol and not me! I hate that you and I didn’t work out! I hate that I’m in this mess right now! I shouldn’t have fallen in love with you. I hate you, Eunsoo-ah. I hate you. You’ve made me feel so many emotions that I never thought were possible! WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS RIGHT NOW!? Go kill yourself! ”

You take the hateful words and throw them out the window, but you merge three sentences and figure out his message he’s giving you.

“I would’ve been better off without you. I shouldn’t have fallen in love with you. Go kill yourself!”

“Do you still love me?” You soften.

“And I-” He stops. “Wait what did you just say?”

“Nothing. I got your message. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I get it now.” You look away. “I guess if I kill myself today, you wouldn’t care.”

Luhan shows no care towards you, even though on the inside, he’s stabbing himself over and over again.

“It would’ve been better if you’d shut up and stay in Korea, where you belong. Leave Zhang Yixing to do the China promotions. If you weren’t here right now, he would’ve realized what an idiot he is to stay with you. I can’t believe his eyes are still innocent.” Luhan laughs, acting buff and rude.

“Zhang Yixing…” You say, tears falling down your face hearing those words spilling out of his mouth. “If I hadn’t come to China to promote with him… he would’ve already left the group. I’ve already lost so many people, I can’t lose him too. First Eomma, Appa, then Kris, you, Tao… I… if he were to leave, I don’t think I could handle the pain anymore. But I know you have no idea what this feels like because all you think about is yourself, you cold hearted-”

You stop yourself. Fighting back does no difference, clearly. You sigh and don’t bother wiping your tears because you know they’ll keep coming.

Luhan looks at you. He wants to help you, to wipe your tears… to kiss away the pain… but at the same time, he knows his place, and what’s happened in the past affect everything.

“You told me almost a year ago… in the hospital when Tao blinded you on accident, that you were able to forgive me and forget about the past. You wanted to start over. Can we… start over? Once again.” Luhan asks.

“Thanks for the drive. Can you stop here?” You ask like he’s a taxi driver, ignoring his proposal.

He stops the car on the side.

“We still have to finish this episode though, you can’t leave.” Luhan says. “And you ahven’t even answered my question.”

“Tell them I had something urgent to do. I’ll have my manager text the company don’t worry.” You say, texting your manager right at the moment.

You hit send and Luhan looks at you confused and with sadness.

“I already gave you a ‘start over’ but you fucked that up.” You say coldly. “If you want to start over, I suggest you fix all your mistakes. And for once… worry about someone else other than yourself.”

With that you get out of the car. You immediately call Lay. Luhan doesn’t move the car. Instead, he gets out of the car and follows you. You start walking.

Hello?
Zhang Yixing… (you sniffle)
Where are you?
In front of the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel.
I’m five minutes away. Did you eat anything?
Méiyǒu I didn’t.
We’ll have lunch then. I’m heading to you right now.
I’m waiting. I’ll hang- ["Do Eunsoo where are you going?" Luhan shouts]
Who’s that? Is it…
Luhan. Pain in the ass. Just… I’m hanging up first!

END CALL.

“What do you want?” You say, walking backwards as he continues to walk towards you.

“What do you mean? We have to go to our next location!” Luhan replies.

“Shut up. What do you really want.” You look at him with hate and disgust.

“Don’t leave me.” Luhan says.

“I’m just giving you the same treatment as you did I and the rest of EXO.” You sigh.

“Yes.” Luhan says.

“Yes what?” You question.

“Yes I’m still in love with you. I’ve never stopped. If you leave… my heart will ache as it did for the past few months.” Luhan admits and answers the question you asked in the car.

“Bullshit right there.” You laugh. “If you’d really miss me, you would’ve called, texted and contacted me before we met here on this goddamn show.”

Luhan gets a call.

Where are you guys? Are you lost?

Luhan looks at you and you raise an eyebrow. He sighs and ruffles his hair, roughly.

...Hello?
She had something important to take care of. Start without us. I’m dropping her off and I’ll come back.
But you won’t have a partner.
I know. I’m okay with that. I’ll just watch from the sidelines.
Her PD predicted something like this would happen, so he told us to force her to continue. So force her to come. Or, we’ll lose stocks.
But… ugh fine.

END CALL.

Luhan looks up at you and you fold your arms.

“Your coming with me.” Luhan says.

“I never agreed to that.” You reply.

Luhan grabs your hand and starts pulling you, but Lay holds Luhan’s arm that was pulling you.

“Stop pushing her.” Yixing says calmly.

Fans screamed. You looked around and saw fans everywhere. You didn’t notice your surroundings at all… Luhan had you very distracted.

“Stop interferring." Luhan says rudely. "Who are you to take her away from me?"

"Who are you to claim her?" Lay replies. "You've always been like this from the start."

Luhan let's go of you and walks close to Lay.

"You know, I never liked you out of all the people in EXO.” Luhan spits in Lay’s face.

You punch Luhan.

“THAT’S ENOUGH!” You yell.

“I NEVER LOVED YOU!” You reply back for Lay, and also answering Luhan’s confessing before he received a call. “I know that is not the answer you wanted to hear. I am NOT going with you… another answer you didn’t want to hear. Tell Kris and Tao I wish to speak with them. My manager’s coming to pick up my clothes there and to talk with the company. Just leave me alone Luhan. You’ve done enough.”

Fans whine and are crying at what they are witnessing. It’s the first time they see you or any EXO member speaking to a former or ex member.

You take off Kris’ jacket in the freezing cold weather and throw it to Luhan’s face.

“And give this to Kris. Tell him to keep the bracelet.” You say loudly and boldy.

You shiver a bit. Lay takes off his big, classy jacket and puts it over your shoulders.

“C’mon, let’s go have lunch.” Lay tells you. “The cars very warm, so won't be cold for long. You want to go to a cafe? Or somewhere expensive?”

You head towards the car and fans scream hearing how sweet Lay is to you.

“Well, I don’t look like I’m ready to go anywhere expensive.” You smile at Lay.

He puts an arm around you.

“That’s okay, we’ll go shopping for you first.” Lay stops to hug you.

The fans continue to scream.

“Arraseo.” You smile. “Ah your so sweet Lay, I love you.”

“I love you… Ah your so cold, c’mon into the car you go!” Lay orders cupping your face, worried.

Fans cheer Lay on and Luhan just stands there, witnessing everything.

“That’s the kind of friendship I want with you Eunsoo, but it’s too late and it’s my fault.” Luhan whispers under the fans screams.

You and Lay leave. Soon after, Luhan gets in the companies car and heads to the location told.

“How was it?” Lay asks.

“It was hell.” You say, massaging your forehead. “I have a headache.”

“Don’t worry, we’ll find you clothes first, then fill you up with food.” Lay smiles.

“What do you want to eat?” You smile delighted.

“Hot Pot?” He smirks.

“MY FAVORITE here in China! Ahhh Oppa that you so much!” You jump a little in your seat, causing Lay to laugh really hard.

You and Lay go shopping and both buy really expensive outfits for each other. His costed about 5,000 USD and yours 5,500 USD, which was easy money and considered ‘cheap’ for you and Lay.

You then drove to Sichuan and ordered a hot pot. You and Lay took pictures together with the food and posted the same one on instagram.

Hotel Room after Hot Pot dinner

You and Lay took a shower (together, but you’ve done it many times before with all of the members since high school. they’ve already seen you so there’s no point in covering or hiding anything) and you change into your pajamas. You once again wear Chanyeol’s tank top… missing him a lot.

You go on your phone and check instagram. You laugh at their posts and realise how much you miss being with them. You let your weakness get the best of you and start to have a panic attack, forgetting Lay was with you.

[A/N: If you forgot, your weakness is loneliness... you CAN'T be alone, or you go crazy]

You start breathing heavily and panicking. Lay runs over and tries to calm you down.

“Yah! I’m right here! Your not alone! Don’t panic! Don’t worry! I’m right here.” He holds you in his arms and rocks you back and forth on the floor.

Your shake and after a while, you calm down, falling asleep in Yixing’s arms.

He puts you in bed and covers you up.

There was a package in front of your door. You read it.

FR: Park Chanyeol [The most handsomest guy you’ve ever met]

You roll your eyes and smiling reading who the package was from.

You open the package and there’s a letter.

How have you been my sunshine? I know I could’ve just text this to you, but I think this is more romantic. They guys and I are promotion and performing our concert. At the moment, we are in Singapore. We miss you and Lay so much. I miss you so much. I hope you can make it to the concerts in U.S.A. I know you and Kyungsoo always wanted to go to New York. You put your phone on speaker and lay it on the bed. You open the packaging and hold a ring with a necklace place through the finger hole. You hold it up.

It was my mother’s engagement ring. You haven’t seen her in a while. She asked about you a lot and told me to give this to you.
I love it. I’ll wear it everywhere. I don’t think I ever want to take it off.
I’m glad.
I- [“Eunsoo-ah! We have to go! The driver’s here already!” Lay interrupts.]
I’m guessing your really busy Yeowang. I guess I’ll talk to you later.
I-(sigh). Okay.

You quickly put on the necklace and run out the door. You get into the car with Lay and receive a call.

Yeobosey-
What the hell did you do yesterday? Why did you leave? Why did you ditch your promotion to go to have a Hot Pot dinner with Zhang Yixing? Aren’t you going to answer me?
I didn’t feel well so I left the set. Lay took me to the hot pot to make me feel better. Sorry if I caused you any trouble.
Ah bullshit. Whatever. You better not do this again or else.
Or else what President Lee? You’ll rip up my contract? EXO’s contract? I know you won’t make as much money without me and the boys so I suggest you should be grateful that Lay and I are doing these stupid promotions for you.
