exo and a new girl member

Sitting on the plain grassy ground, listing to the best guitar notes ever heard, rocking feet and head at the melody and exchanging smiles like two moons on one planet; the feeling was awesome!

Her sudden and random hums only added to the ability of Chanyeol’s music piece, fluttering one’s heart. Their personally owned audience seemed to be melting with each note accompanied by Soul bi’s hums. Sometimes she would even create perfect lyrics to add, during the little humming she occasionally did.

Chanyeol always liked to create some personal music pieces for his exo members and the piece he was sharing with the small crew of audience he had in front of him right now, was the one of those pieces. A special occasion or just wanting to brighten up his their mood would cause these confidential pieces to be revealed. The special occasion wasn’t the case that time; suddenly wanting to see his exo members’ faces more bright because of his music was the urge for this.

Considering the fact that, Chanyeol wanted to do it for Soul bi too this time was a heartwarming occasion as well. Sitting right in the middle of one of the grassy lawns at their photo shoot site and listening to Chanyeol’s piece was only bonding their hearts together more strongly.
How good their days been after meeting Soul bi. Everyone could feel Minseok’s happiness. He really loved Soul bi as his sister and so did Yixing. Yixing always been a caring and selfless guy but after openly accepting Cara as a member of their group, he couldn’t be more happier. He would eat when Cara ate. He would remind her to take her medicines though he himself kept on forgetting taking his vitamins. He would help her carrying her luggage as she wasn’t yet recovered and nobody wanted her to do anything unnecessary.

Everything he did Cara would love it and only he and Minseok were allowed by her to change her dressing over her wounds. D.O on the other hand caressed her like a flower that would fall anytime if he didn’t pay attention. He loved cooking with her; he loved smiling for her because she liked his smile. He loved hitting people for her especially Chanyeol and Baekhyun when they tried to pull pranks on her. He was like a guardian of Cara whom Cara took as her own personal ‘Suho’.

The rest had their ways to take care of her as well and it only added to the building strength in their relationship. Kyungsoo smiled.

He looked up and Cara was smiling with her closed eyes, humming and snapping with the help of thumb and middle finger according to the notes and hums of her own. His faint smiled widened and he dropped his gaze on the grass again. Everything was good and her presence was like a cool breeze during their exhausting and suffocating schedule. There were no signs of the hard time they went through at first because of her. Now they only knew one thing and it was, they loved her company and taking caring of her. Just a week that had passed after that incident with her and everything went smoothly after that like magic. Kyungsoo liked it, everybody liked it, and Exo loved it!

Kai loved it the most.

He studied her milky small features, glittering in sweet sunshine of winter. Her smiling face, her calm features, her extremely long lashes, thin pinkish lips- he saw her putting her head on Chanyeol’s shoulder and he inwardly fidgeted. With those closed eyes, she couldn’t really figure out what bothered Kai and brought smiles on everyone’s face. Chanyeol inhaled the scent of her blonde hair and smiled. She was cold against his jacket. He could feel it and he felt it every time, when she touched him or played around with him –but he got the feeling that nobody ever touched him the way she did. Her body was cold but he never got the chills during this whole week instead he felt warmth entering his body from the cold touches of hers. Like it felt this time and he kissed the scalp of her head with a warm smile.

Everyone smiled warmly and Cara smiled with her closed eyes still sitting in that position oblivious of Kai’s internal growls towards Chanyeol. She loved this little family of hers and she loved them as her bothers except the certain one whom she still couldn’t name her relationship with.

The music coming out of Chanyeol’s guitar strings slowly died down and everyone clapped cheerfully. Cara opened her eyes slowly and smiled at the little crew. Kai’s heart did a little flip-flop at her stunt she just did with his heart and instantly looked away, not wanting to be spell bound by the heart throbbing view in front of his eyes.

Baekhyun laughed as soon as they finished their performance and Jong-dae clapped his hands with a click of his tongue at the upper internal surface of his mouth only to get everyone’s attention.

Kyungsoo titled his head at this and Sehun rolled his eyes on him as if they both knew what he would do next.

“That’s my place to do that Soul bi!” Baekhyun yelled, pointing at the position Soul bi was in, leaning her head on Chanyeol’s shoulder, with his index finger of left hand. Everyone titled their heads at the lame joke of Baekhyun but Soul bi laughed a little and Chen interrupted before she could respond more.

“I think, we should go with ‘Chanbi’ concept instead of Chanbeak”

Chen trolled and Chanyeol who was about to laugh suddenly gulped at the most murderous look Kyungsoo (ever mustered) gave him and Kai darted his gaze at Jong-dae.

“I like Chansoo better”. Soul bi suggested and Kyungsoo rolled his eyes at this.

“Why are you guys trying to snatch my partner” Kai faked gritting his teeth at Soul bi and she laughed whole-heartedly. Another heart fluttering scene and with shifting his gaze to nowhere Kai groaned inwardly.

“I’m not interested in you Baeky, I think soo is better”

Chanyeol tried to crack a joke and Baekhyun jumped at him like a hungry wolf making everyone laugh in unison.

“You already cheated on me with soul bi and now you want soo, you cheat”

Baekhyun cried and Kai agreed.

“Right, don’t try to get my soo hyung”

“Gosh, you little brats”

Kris growled and Soul bi smiled. Kyungsoo was just spacing out, out of habit or else he would’ve murdered the people who were fighting over him.

“Hyung, ask Baekhyun hyung, he’s already cheating on Chanyeol hyung,” Soul bi started and everyone looked at the hungry wolf trying to get his long nails on Chanyeol and the wolf in him died at once because of the looks from his pack gave him. Soul bi and Kyungsoo inwardly smiled. “He already has a girlfriend”

As soon as Soul bi finished, Baekhyun gritted his teeth at soul bi and shook furiously to deny what Cara had just stated but who would believe him.

“I don’t have a girlfriend hyungs”

Baekhyun cried but Chanyeol grabbed him from his collar and jolted him in a split of a second.
“You cheated on me and yet you complained” He faked out a hurt look and everyone looked at Baekhyun with a ‘Serves you right’ look. Soul bi laughed rolling on the ground like a roller. “It’s alright because I’ve already my eyes on Soul bi”

Chanyeol finished with that and soul bi jolt lifted her body up from the ground. He released Baekhyun and looked at soul with a fake ‘lover’ look. Soul bi didn’t know why but she felt a laughter bubbling in her stomach like a storm but she held it back maintaining her ever green cold expression.

“But I’m not interested in you hyung,” Soul bi said with a serious face but the crew in front of them couldn’t stop their laughter. Chanyeol felt humiliated right away with his elves like ear tips reddening and it was getting more and more difficult for soul bi to hold back her laughter at the view. “Bear with your cheater boyfriend”

The crew went wild at Cara’s finishing line and Baekhyun look murderously at Soul bi for calling him Cheater. Like Cara cared, she just rolled her eyes at him.

“Soul bi you ‘seduction package’!”

Baekhyun yelled and everyone titled his or her heads at Baekhyun’s blunt talking habit but before they could respond more, Soul bi was running with Baekhyun chasing her in front of their eyes. Kyungsoo threw his head on his hands and Lu han scratched his head with a little smile on his face reflecting the smile on Yixing’s face. Minseok titled his head and Chanyeol laughed along with soul bi and Baekhyun as well. Kai looked away in annoyance at the chasing play of Baekhyun and Soul bi with their laughter roaring around. Sehun just pursed his lips in a thin line out of habit and Tao pouted as if he wanted to play with them too. Kris only sighed!

He missed Joon myeon a lot during this week because only he could control these little nuisances. Kris never felt he was a leader when he was in china doing their activities separately because all members of exo-m always acted like gentlemen. However, every time they are around exo-K they would love to act like little kids especially controlling Joon myeon’s kids was really difficult because they always liked to play around and Kris had to maintain his cool and calm image. He couldn’t raise his voice to stop them and they won’t stop until Joon myeon would run behind them to stop them. What a responsibility these kids were especially since they got along with Cara. This week was really hard on him but Cara’s gummy smile when she smiled trying to part her lips reminded him of his and he instantly melted at that every time.

Cara knew how much Kris cared for her more than he cared for Tao. He treated her like a little kid and spoiled her despite the fact, he always told Suho not to spoil the kids this much. Therefore, because of this reason, she acted like a spoiled kid and took advantage of Kris’ love.

“I’m going to kill you soul bi, you just wait”

Baekhyun tried to threaten her and she just laughed in response running and looking back occasionally towards him.

“Catch me first hyung”.

Cara dared him and Chen joined them running almost close to soul bi, making Baekhyun gasp in surprise. His short legs couldn’t really beat Chen’s, he stopped and hit the ground with his one leg like a little annoyed kid. Soul bi and Chen laughed at him still running and chasing each other now. Tao left his place to join them and Baekhyun ran around in circles, later, like a little starfish he spread his limbs, spun around and threw himself on the grassy ground.

Tao shouted to tell Chen and soul bi about Baekhyun. Both stopped, looked towards each other, quietly told Tao to join with a gesture and ran altogether to attack Baekhyun.

In a split of a second, Baekhyun’s laughter was roaring around throughout the lawn and everyone laughed watching them. The trio kept on tickling Baekhyun and he instantly was out of breath because of the extreme tickling he was receiving by the hands around his sides. He had no way to escape and he was crying and laughing like a happy child.

“Please…sto..p.. stop…no…”

Baekhyun begged but they didn’t stop. The crew was out of breath too because of how hard they were laughing, but Minseok got concerned so he pushed Kris to go stop them before Baekhyun died.

“Soul bi, chen, Tao”

Kris stopped them and the trio obeyed while laughing. Soul bi hugged Kris and Kris smiled. His strict face softened instantly and Chen winked at Soul bi for her ‘good work’. Tao tried to hide his knowing smile and Baekhyun cried behind them from the ground making them laugh again in chores.

“Someone… help… me… getting up”

Baekhyun yelled with his left strength but nobody paid attention. They walked back towards the crew, Cara still hugging Kris with the duo walking behind after sticking their tongues out at Baekhyun.

Baekhyun faked out a loud cry about how his group betrayed him because of a stupid girl Soul bi but nobody put an ear at this, instead glared at him when he joined them later for calling Cara stupid.

“Come on guys, your last shoot is ready”

Manager hyung called them from afar and the crew left their place to finish the rest of the photo shoot session, laughing and chatting like there was no tomorrow. Soul bi was still in a side hug with Kris and her free arm was huddled at Yixing’s arm.

Baekhyun stuck his tongue out at Soul bi for how they were treating her like a princess and nobody didn’t even bother to ask if he died there or not. Of-course he didn’t die but who could make Baekhyun understand that. Soul bi mocked him back and while walking they were fooling around just so fine like this until suddenly Sehun opened his mouth to ask Kris something that resulted in Soul bi’s smile to drop. Which everyone noticed quickly causing them to share strange look among themselves regardless the fact they couldn’t figure out the reason for that no matter they hard to figure it out.

“When Joon myeon hyung will come back?”

Spending the whole week out of town for to attend a ceremony and representing exo with Yifan was not an easy task to work out with.

Yifan had to go back after two days as one of the leader had to be with the rest of the members and Joon myeon was left alone there to deal with everything alone. Coming out there with Yifan and one of their managers at dawn when he was supposed to be by Cara’s side after collecting her back from the Seoul forest back to her apartment, annoyed him a lot but being the leader of exo, he had duties he couldn’t refuse to fulfill. The night he left Kai’s jacket at the bench for Cara with a message on the sand ‘come back, it’s cold out here’, he pretended to be sleeping when she came back quietly and laid by his side and he eventually slept too, had its dawn collected him to leave right away.

He didn’t know what happened back there or Cara had asked Kai about this or not yet; but eventually he talked to his other members gaining the information about Cara’s recovering pace and her transformation into a cheerful little kid. He felt relieved after hearing from his fellow members how happy they were and having fun with Cara. A pang of envy, stuck in his chest too because Cara never tried to contact him. It’s not like he tried to do that himself though. Still, he wasn’t himself sure why but, he wanted to talk to her. Hear her melodious voice and see her cold face with gems like wet green eyes.

He wasn’t sure of the reason but he wanted it badly when Chanyeol sent him some pictures of Cara and his together, laughing and playing around. (He was relieved to see Cara’s face recovered from the bruises but there were still hints of those that would remind everyone of that incident right away) He wanted it real badly when Sehun texted him with some pictures of Cara and his as he was trying to assure him that Cara and he was alright and taking care of themselves really well. So more badly when Kris told him that he wanted him back because Soul bi and the beagle line needed Joon myeon to get them under control. He wasn’t sure of the reason but he was embarrassed for wanting to be by her side. He was embarrassed to look at Cara’s face longingly in those pictures. He was embarrassed at the fact that he was scared about, Cara might ask Kai about his jacket. Nobody had yet said anything referring to that night and it only made his mind run wild. Weird thoughts kept hunting him down like, Kai and Cara must have kept this thing secret from others or they might be looking for the person who did this, secretly. He didn’t want to get caught doing this kind of stuff like out of a romance novel. If he had to go take care of her, he should’ve just went and collect her directly, instead of doing such suspicious thing. How crazy he was to do such stupid thing, Joon myeon closed his eyes and huffed in annoyance.

How stupid, how stupid he was!

He mentally slapped himself when the nervous feeling kept on growing like some kind of water monster. He was getting closer to his destination and the only thing he could feel right that time was nervousness. He sighed. He was heading back to the photo shoot site exo was at, after finishing his work out of town, without waiting. He was almost at his destination and was too nervous to think about any other thing.

He didn’t know the reason for his nervousness but as he imagined Cara’s face his heart would skip its beats real quickly. What a foreign feeling it was and he didn’t like it this way.

He groaned at himself while leaning his head back at the seat and closed his eyes making their manager hyung to give him strange looks he couldn’t catch because of his closed eyes.

“What’s wrong with you Joon myeon,” Joon myeon jolt opened his eyes at the voice. “You’ve been spacing out a lot lately”

“It’s nothing hyung,” Joon myeon shifted in his place inconveniently and smiled at him just to assure him that he was alright. Manager hyung didn’t find it convincing though. “I’m alright, it’s just because of the work load”

“If you say so”

Manager hyung didn’t try to peel him more but he could see manager hyung’s disagreeing look clearly. He had no choice but to keep his eyes shut and let his mind wander until they reached the site.

“We are here Joon myeon,” Manager hyung said and he quickly opened his eyes only to find the van stopping in front of a huge building. “You can go to the boys first; I’ll bring your stuff there”

Joon myeon nodded and inwardly understood the word ‘boys’ as Cara had no single habit a girl would posses.

Throughout leaving the van and entering in the building, he could feel his heart wanting to break out his rib cage. He inhaled and exhaled sharply many times to calm himself down but his hands continued to tremble and he growled at this unwanted situation, inwardly.

“This way Mr. Joon myeon”

A staff member from their company at the building showed him the way with his two bodyguards in front of him making way for him through the occasion of fans. Joon myeon smiled for the fans and hastily walked towards the other side of the building where his fellow members were completing their remaining photo shoot session.

The staff member opened the door for him and he could see the crowded room holding a photo shoot session inside, with Chen and Tao posing in front of the camera. He smiled unconsciously. His fellow members had the exhausting look yet glow radiating from their faces. He mentally hugged both before moving his eyes in search for the rest.

He walked in a bit more and found them sitting beside the camera network ready to be called anytime. Sehun clinging over Lu han, Kyungsoo throwing his deadly glares at Chanyeol, Baekhyun trying to mess with Yixing and Minseok; Kai on the other hand spacing out alone looking soullessly at Yifan and soul bi.

Joon myeon’s heart dropped at the sight instantly. Yifan was feeding some snacks to Soul bi and she was hugging him while both watching a screen with their other manager hyung as if they were discussing about something. Yifan was never like that to anyone especially feeding someone and he was smiling so brightly with her that made his heart run wild. Reason for feeling like this was not something he could figure out that time or any time soon but it didn’t stop him from having such feelings.

“Hyung, you were supposed to be pretending as if you were sleeping,” Soul bi’s soft voice hit his senses and he snapped out of his small world of thoughts. “And look how you are trying to act cool here too. Hyung anybody can tell you are acting!”

Soul bi poked Yifan’s cheek with her long index finger while taking the piece of snack in her teeth; Yifan was feeding her, with a little hint of annoyance in her tone.

“I wasn’t acting,” Yifan turned his face towards her and their faces were just inches apart but they didn’t seem to care. Joon myeon fidgeted visibly but nobody was there to notice him doing that. “I’m normally cool even when I’m sleeping”

Manager hyung and soul bi rolled their eyes at his statement and Soul bi tugged Yifan’s shirt from its hum to shift his attention towards the screen.

“I think we need Joon myeon in this photograph,” Manager hyung said pointing at the screen and Joon myeon literary spotted Soul bi fidgeting. His heart dropped again when he found her smile fading away. “Soul bi you should be between Joon myeon and Yifan to make it ‘your’ welcome shoot completely”.

“Like, Suho hyung will represent Exo-K and Yifan hyung will be representing Exo-M; standing me between them would represent my being the only girl face of exo”

Soul bi asked and Manager hyung nodded.

“Bingo,” Manager hyung clicked his hand and looked around before pausing. “Where is… oh, Joon myeon you are here?”

It gained every members’ attention and Joon myeon retreated at the surprised look on Cara’s face. Her soft expressions turned cold within a heartbeat making Joon myeon go through a sudden flood of strange feelings washing over him.

“Hyung”

Sehun shouted happily and ran towards him like a lost child would do after finding his mother. Sehun hugged him tightly after reaching him and rocked him around letting him know how much he missed his hyung. Joon myeon smiled with affection and ruffled the tall maknea’s hair.

“I missed you so much hyung,” Sehun told him after parting and Joon myeon’s smile widened at the younger boy’s complains. “You left me here alone with that beagle line and they ordered me everyday around like I was their servant”

Joon myeon patted his hair and hugged him again only to comfort the latter’s baby heart.
“I’m back now right?,” Joon myeon started while eyeing every one charging forward to meet him on his spot. “Yifan told me already, so I’ll punish them now alright”.

Sehun sometimes acted like a tall baby that never suited his grumpy face and tall body but he was still young and he acted only sometimes like this so it wasn’t a big deal. Otherwise, he had a moody personality who would react differently every time towards each thing.

“Joon myeon”

Minseok smiled and hugged him. One by one every one hugged him and bombarded him with random stuff they wanted to talk about to Joon myeon. He smiled and chatted with them for a little while before Yifan made his way through the crew and hugged him like there was no tomorrow. Joon myeon laughed and punched his back before parting.

“Now you know how difficult these kids are to handle”.

Joon myeon said while snickering and Yifan just waved his hand in annoyance.

“We are not that difficult to handle hyung”

Baekhyun piped in and Yifan rolled his eyes at him leaving Joon myeon laughing at his response. For a moment, he forgot about Soul bi but for not so long. Kai was the one to remind them about her absence and they all looked at their back only to find Soul bi walking towards the lens proxy of camera. Tao and Chen had finished their shoot and they were rushing out of the zone to meet Joon myeon.

“Joon myeon,” Manger hyung called him and his attention diverted. “We need you to dress up and join, hurry up”

The other manager hyung came in too and after meeting Tao and Chen, answering their questions about his surprise arrival as well, Joon myeon accompanied their stylist to go get dressed.

He took one last glance at Cara, posing for the camera, wearing same white jeans and black formal shirt with a shining blue tie as rest of the members; her hair tied behind in that usual Barbie bun and glowing face without any single touch of makeup, and it made his heart flutter and breathe ran wild. Nobody noticed his internal fidgets and he sneaked out of the trap of Soul bi quite smoothly. Well, not so smoothly but yeah, smoothly!

“Jong-in”

One of their manager hyungs called him and he dropped his conversation with Tao instantly by tossing a ‘yes hyung’ towards him.

“You are going to head back right now for the teaser shoot,” Manager hyung said while looking towards Cara coming their way. Jong-in’s eyes followed his gaze only to gain a gummy smile from Cara and feeling himself reflecting that smile. “Cara will join you later after this shoot”
Cara and he had two teaser shoots together. One today and the other one tomorrow, so he had to head back right now only to practice for the teaser dance and some preparations beforehand. He nodded in response and was about to take steps forward when Cara stopped him half away addressing to Manger hyung without looking at Kai.

“I’ll go with hyung, hyung,” Cara said and Jong-in looked at her unable to get her words. Cara needed to shoot with Joon myeon and the rest so how could she leave with him right away. Manger hyung had the same look on his face for her but like she cared! “A little Photoshop won’t hurt so please, I’m gonna leave with Jong-in hyung”

She was in-charge of everything. She had her hands on each thing and it gave her the freedom to do whatever she wanted unlike the rest who always had to obey. Manager hyung did the little ‘but’ fidgets but nothing could stop her from dragging Kai behind by grabbing him from his wrist. Kai knew she was strong and he didn’t have anything to oppose her act. If she wanted to drag him, he let her do that until they reached the other side of the building where the fans were waiting for them.

Cara let his wrist go and he caught up with her steps instantly looking straight at the half side of her face. She looked bothered and he could feel her groaning inside; so he couldn’t help but ask.

“Do you have something against Joon myeon hyung?” He spotted her hands quiver at his question for a second before being clucked into fists. He knew the arrow he shot in the dark had hit the right spot and it only added to his confidence to continue. “Every time we talked about Joon myeon hyung, your face would turn cold and today you didn’t bother to even say a minor hello to him instead you fired putting your gun on my shoulder right now. You had a shoot with him and it was a ‘must’ but you just tossed it around like it doesn’t matter.”

Kai didn’t even bother to take a breath between his little speech as if he did so, he wouldn’t be able to continue. He didn’t want to annoy Cara or enter in her private space but she was his partner and both were already close enough to ask this kind of questions to each other.

Cara frost on her spot as he finished talking; she looked at his face with her cold face and quite green wet eyes. He held his breath unconsciously and his heart threatened him to come out of his chest. He gulped slowly. He wasn’t scared; he just couldn’t take much of the fairy tale like beauty of hers. Cara inhaled a deep breath and released slowly while dropping her gaze on the ground as if it was the most interesting thing to look at suddenly.

“I don’t have anything against him hyung,” She started in her signature soft yet toneless voice allowing Kai to look away just to get his already held breath back. “It’s just…” she shuttered and Kai looked back at her with a confused look in his eyes for her. Cara was as blunt as he was so how could she shutter at this small matter. He frowned unconsciously. “I… I’m embarrassed. I can’t face him because I caused so much trouble and yet Deffny shouted at him for me. I should be the one apologizing to him but he apologized to deffny for not being able to take care of me. I wanted to apologize but I just… Just hyung,” She lifted her eyes up and Kai instantly looked away. “I can’t face him, I don’t know why, I don’t really know…”

Kai caught her drawing circles with the tip of her snickers on the ground and exhaled sharply.

“I get it, I get it my little bro,” He pinched her small nose and she flinched instantly. Kai let out a little laugh, that bought a gummy smile at her face before grabbing her both shoulders firmly and bending his neck down a little to catch up with her height, with a warm smile a brother would wear for his distressed sibling. “Don’t worry, Joon myeon hyung never take such stuff on his heart when he loves that person. You are no exception because you are a part of his family, his exo family. So just take your time and you would easily be able to face him eventually. Besides, you didn’t cause any trouble. You made us feel proud. Wasn’t it our mistake too that we didn’t try to find out about what kind of person you are before assuming everything by ourselves”

He again laughed a little and Cara bit on her lower lip drawing circles on the floor with the tip of her shoes. Her gaze wandered all on Kai’s soft features. Dark orbs, golden skin due to the layer of compact, slight dark lips hidden behind the thick layer of pink gloss, she smiled slightly.

“Now I know why you are the heart throb for all your girl fans”

Cara said completely changing the subject and Kai taken a back at the sudden compliment. His heart skipped a beat and he fought with himself to keep himself from fidgeting visibly.

“Well,” he scratched his forehead shyly and Cara wrapped her hand on her mouth to laugh whole-heartedly. No matter how much this guy looks confident and visual on stage or during interviews, he truly gets shy when someone compliments him like he’s receiving it for the very first time. “Thanks!”

Kai looked away with an embarrassed smile on his face and Cara just couldn’t stop herself form laughing.

“Hyung you are seriously…”

Cara tried to say something but she got interrupted by their manager hyung’s call from behind. Cara turned instantly and Kai straightened up to see Manager hyung coming their way with Joon myeon trailing along with their guards as well. Cara flinched visibly, after finding Joon myeon coming their way and Kai had noticed that without fail, asking him to put a hand on Cara’s shoulder to reassure her about what he said just few minutes ago. Cara sighed lightly and looked here and there just to hide her nervousness but she didn’t know her eyes would widen in shock after doing so.

She instantly looked towards Joon myeon who was trying to fix his tie not paying attention towards his surroundings. Cara held a deep breath and again looked towards the weight-carrying machine moving towards Joon myeon like a blow of wind. Her lips trembled and body refused to react but inside she was shouting at Joon myeon to pay attention.

How careless the others were walking in front of him. Even the guards were walking in front of him because his pace slowed down while trying to fix his tie.

Her whole body trembled and she snapped out of the trance in a split of a second allowing her to run in their direction who gotten really close to them.

“Joon myeon hyung, move,” She shouted at the top of her lungs and the whole little crew there frost at their spot. She was running crazily towards him and with the movement of her hand gesturing him to move but nobody got her point except Kai behind who also had just spotted that fast machine almost on Joon myeon’s head from behind and little from the left side that’s why nobody had notice it yet. Cara inwardly gritted her teeth at how deaf they were not hearing the huge noise of machine beside them. “Move Joon myeon hyung, Just move, machine!”

She was going crazy waving her hand with all her strength and telling him about the machine behind him but when he sensed the machine at his back he couldn’t move a single muscle out of fear. The guards and manager hyung turned to look what was going on but before they could react Cara jumped at Joon myeon wrapping him in her arms and spun him with this much force that he was out of the machine’s proxy with her in a heartbeat.

Jong-in’s heart dropped when he saw machine passing right from the way where Joon myeon was standing in that same moment when Cara got Joon myeon out of way. His body trembled and breath went wild when he realized Joon myeon was extremely near to the point to be gotten crushed by that machine. He dropped himself down on the floor with trembling chin and heart almost out of order.

That machine crushed into the wall and stopped with an ear-bleeding echo. Nobody was driving the machine and the staff there realized that it accidently was on its gear but it wasn’t the time to care about why it happened, the most important thing right now was, Joon myeon and Cara’s safety.

Jong-in spotted them on the ground with Cara on her back at the ground holding Joon myeon in her embrace tightly above her. He let out a sigh of relief with his shaking body and tried to compose himself just to get on his feet back. He needed to be certain of their safety. Manger hyung and others rushed to gather around them kneeling on the floor encircling and blocking Jong-in’s view.

Jong-in rushed towards them with his shaky legs and threw himself on his knees at the ground right in the middle of the crew, encircling Cara and Joon myeon.

Joon myeon’s body was trembling wrapped in Cara’s arms and Cara’s breath was extremely unsteady. Her lips were trembling and eyes almost welled up with tears. She had almost lost Joon myeon and it was a terrifying feeling. Extremely terrifying!

She could feel herself almost dead when she thought of the possibilities that could happen. She hugged him more tightly with nails almost digging in his shirt. Sinking her face in Joon myeon’s trembling shoulder and her tears wet the fabric right away.

‘She could lost him, she could lost him just now’ these thoughts drained all the energy from her body. She could feel her blood drying in her veins and heart almost dead.

‘No, she won’t lose him, never ever’ She wrapped herself more tightly around his
body. She could hear Joon myeon’s heart beat faster and extremely loud matching the pace of her own heartbeats. His breath was vulgar as well and she let out a nervous gasp at that. She didn’t want to be parted from him, not yet, not really yet but slowly as she was getting her senses back she could hear Jong-in’s shouts and other peoples’ voices calling for them.
‘Not yet’ she hugged him again stubbornly, almost to point of breaking each other’s ribs.

“Soul bi!”

She heard Jong-in almost dead panicked and she pursued her lips in a thin line before getting her head out of Joon myeon’s shoulder fabric to see Jong-in bent at them with terrified eyes and trembling body.

“Joon myeon…hyung”

Soul bi tried to say something but her voice fell into a whisper barely audible for even Joon myeon who was calming down a little now, far for Jong-in. Her throat was dry and she wasn’t in the position to form any words moreover her eyes were blurry enough to cover the view in front of her.

“Joon…”

She tried again but when suddenly Jong-in tried to separate them she shrieked on the top of her lungs scaring everyone more than they already were.

She was wrapping herself around him more tightly, until they were out of breath, in a hysterical way and she had made her own surgery stitches open but she couldn’t feel it. She could bear anything, she could choose not to feel anything when she had to protect her family, and Joon myeon, Joon myeon was his family!

May be more than her family, may be her hyung who was holding a guilt for not being able to protect her. She just didn’t know what really was that, she just wanted Joon myeon to be safe and be with her in this very moment. She furiously didn’t want him to be separated from her right now until she heard Yifan’s voice calling for him.

“Hyung”

She cried in a loud voice and Joon myeon moved over her body at the same moment. She frost instantly.

Joon myeon with the help of Yifan get off her body and she instantly sat up taking Joon myeon’s hand in her one hand and wiping her both eyes messily with the help of her other free hand.

“You alright hyung, tell me you alright?”

She looked at the colorless face of Joon myeon and touched his cheeks trying to assure herself that he was safe and sound. Joon myeon was soulless that time but he managed to smile for her to tell her that he was fine. His heart was not really strong and everyone knew that but he knew how to control himself for a ‘show off’ of he’s alright.

Cara could feel his body trembling but because of his assuring smile, she felt her heart a little at ease and she threw her head at Yifan’s broad chest with a relieved sigh.

Yifan collected her in his arms from her side but she could easily see Joon myeon being pulled in a hug by Jong-in. Manger hyung and others were asking her and Joon myeon if they were alright but she was too busy crying like a child in Yifan’s arms that she didn’t bother to answer them. Joon myeon was quite too and his body was still trembling wrapped in Jong-in’s broad frame. Their fingers were interlocked into each other and both could feel each other’s quiver. Joon myeon could feel Cara’s coldness and she could her hyung’s warmth entering her body through the hand of Joon myeon she was holding firmly.

“It’s alright Soul bi,” Lu han rubbed his hand at her shoulder and tried to calm her down with his other hand caressing her available cheek, making her cry more under the touch. “Joon myeon’s alright, you are fine too, everything is alright, come on stop crying”.

“Soul bi stop crying,” Yifan kissed her scalp and she instantly felt calmness running all through her body. She stopped crying instantly, sniffling one last time before Lu han wiped her tears with his thumb. “I’m here, it’s alright, stop crying”

She rubbed her face in his chest but he didn’t mind. He liked it that it helped her calming down. Her action was really childlike. Most kids does that after crying and it brought a faint smile on Yifan’s face while on the other hand all the members were panicking unable to do anything but to watch.

She absolutely didn’t want to let go Joon myeon’s hand but she had to, when Yixing gathered her in his arms taking her from Yifan and others tried to help Joon myeon stand up. Their fingers protested before parting but both couldn’t do anything when Minseok held both Cara’s hand caressing those comfortingly. Joon myeon on the other hand was dealing with the rest of members, managers, their guards, event staff and fans (came out of nowhere) trying to get pictures and bomber the staff with their questions.

Their surrounding was extremely noisy but it didn’t stop any of their members to pour soothing words into her and Joon myeon’s ears. They made them take few sips of water before trying to take them to a physician. Cara protested instantly and Joon myeon agreed with an ‘I’m fine, nothing’s wrong’ but they didn’t really listen. They took both of them in a waiting room in that building only allowing the staff in.

“You both alright?”

One of their manager hyungs asked. Both nodded slowly, wrapped in their members’ bodies without looking at each other. Even if they wanted, they just couldn’t; they were hidden within small divided groups of their members. Manager hyung nodded in relief.

“You really did a good job Soul bi,” other manager hyung patter her head and smiled warmly; she dropped her gaze on the ground. Manager hyung had no idea that for the first time in her life she had felt her existence a little worthy. This wasn’t a good job, this was the greatest job she had ever done. “So don’t worry, everything is fine!”

Cara nodded slightly, still gaze stuck at the floor wandering at the pairs of shoes down there. Kyungsoo kissed her cheek warmly with a thankful heart to heavens that both his family members were safe. Minseok squeezed her hand and Yixing tightened his back hug around her waist. Yifan checked her temperature after taking measures from Joon myeon’s body and Lu han wiped the non existing dirt from her cheeks with his hands brushing smoothly against her both cheeks.

“I’m calling Soul bi’s doctor team and you guys need to get your checkup here before we head back to your dorm”. Manager hyung said. “We’ll cancel today’s schedules”

“I’ll go deal with media and staff. This isn’t a small incident to take lightly”
The other manager hyung said and Joon myeon instantly stopped him hopping out of Tao and Sehun’s embrace.

“Hyung can you just wind up the matter” Joon myeon asked in a low exhausted tone making everyone look at him in confusion. “I don’t want to put any law suit at the management of this place or any staff member, please just close this matter right here”

As soon as Joon myeon finished, Cara freed herself from her little group’s grip and darted her gaze straight at Joon myeon’s face while gritting her teeth in annoyance.

“That’s right hyung,” She said in her most low and cold tone making Joon myeon gulp instantly. “You have no right to put any law suit at anyone, ‘cause you are the one who’s responsible for all this”.

She huffed in annoyance and he dropped his gaze at his foot. She took few steps towards him and almost shouted at him surprising everyone in the room.

“Were you deaf or senseless that you didn’t hear the loud engine roaring behind you,” She clucked her fists and Jong-dae grabbed her arm to stop her before she might have punched Joon myeon right on his cheek. “Would you ever pay attention towards your surroundings hyung, you almost got yourself killed, you know what does that mean,” She growled. “We almost lost you back there, do you have any idea what would’ve happened to us if we had lost you,” she tried to take some steps towards him again but this time Chanyeol stopped her from skinning Joon myeon alive. Her low and cold tone with a little blood shot eyes were so dangerous and scary that most of the members gulped unconsciously and Joon myeon had retreated visibly at this. “How could you be so careless, I was shouting crazily, waving my hand to make you understand that you needed to move but why were you this dumb that you didn’t move a single muscle”.

She finished with a shout again and Tao hugged her from aside just to calm her down. It worked but it didn’t stop her from taking Joon myeon’s face in her piercing gaze with those blood shot green eyes.

“I’m sorry”.

Joon myeon lowered his head with an embarrassed look and sorry tone letting out a small whisper that only added to her anger.

“What do I do with your being sorry” She gritted her teeth visibly at him. “If we had lost you what would be the use of your being sorry”

She huffed again and freed herself from Tao’s hug abruptly.

“Soul bi”
Yifan and Yixing tried to stop her but she shoved away their hands and faced Manager hyungs with flames rising in her eyes.

“If hyung wasn’t in his senses,” She was letting it out on manager hyungs now. “what were you guys doing, what if I couldn’t reach there at the very moment who would be responsible for our lose”

“Soul bi”

Most of the members tried to stop her but she was too conceited to calm down. She tried to leave the room but Yifan got her half way thanks to his long legs.

“Soul bi listen to me,” Yifan cupped her face in his hands and lifted her head up to look straight in her eyes. “If you want sometime for you, at least let Jong-in accompany you”.

Soul bi let out a small sigh and nodded lightly. Jong-in hugged Joon myeon before leaving with Cara, who didn’t even try to threw one last look at Joon myeon much to Joon myeon’s disappointment and making his heart ache, accompanied by few guards.

“Don’t over think about that Joon myeon,” Yifan took Joon myeon’s hand in his one hand and put the other one on his back just to draw some circles of comfort there. “Soul bi was just concerned about you that’s why she acted that way. She’s still a kid after all. She was scared Suho. Didn’t you see her crying”.

Yifan showed him a faint smile and Joon myeon nodded with a faint smile as well.

“I know,” He looked down at the coffee table feeling each pair of eye in the lounge at his face. “I’m not over thinking, I’m embarrassed because how dumb I played back there. I scared everyone and caused this much fuss over my life”.

He was really embarrassed. He had no idea his little carelessness could cause this much trouble and stress for his fellow members but it made him realize that each member loved him with all their hearts as well and Cara was no exception in this matter. He was happy inside and a little embarrassed too but the beagle line couldn’t take his gloomy face anymore so they had to piped in.

“Hyung just think how dramatic that was,” Baekhyun got everyone’s attention even Kyungsoo couldn’t help but listen to him. “A beautiful lady saved the life of a handsome guy…”

“Hyung is not handsome!”

Chanyeol pointed out but Baekhyun shooed him away with a wave of his hand.

“It’s just a drama plot you idiot,” Baekhyun scolded him and continued, earning glares from every one especially Joon myeon and Yifan. “So, the Beautiful lady saved the life of a dumb and handsome (Every one couldn’t stop their laughter and Suho rolled his eyes at him) guy and the girl shouted at him out of concern…”

“Wait wait,” Chen lifted his both hands in the air to stop him half away and both Chanyeol and Baekhyun glared at him for this interruption during their imaginary ‘drama filming’. “Isn’t that always guys saving girls in dramas and yelling at their clumsiness. The girl is always weak and boy always shout at her out of concern. She could only say sorry and the boy will leave her on her own because of his anger and won’t talk to her until another incident might happen”

“Chen is right,” Chanyeol agreed while nodding. “Joon myeon hyung likes cheerful girls and everyone knows our Soul bi’s true self is the cold grumpy one, he has no chance with her”.

“So true,” Baekhyun clapped his hands dreamingly. “Hyung acted here like a fragile girl and he never likes strong girls. He wants to protect her lady so our soul bi has no chance with him, how cool, now I can have her”.

Joon myeon and Yifan looked at each other. Kyungsoo lifted an eyebrow at the beagle line and Sehun gritted his teeth out of annoyance. Minseok and Yixing had no affect on them as if they didn’t hear them and Lu han wanted to ask Tao to punch the faces of these nuisance. Well, Tao on the other hand just hugged Joon myeon from a side leaning his head on his shoulder, watching the beagle line gossiping like high school girls at the certain matter.

“Hello,” Chen smacked his forearm with his punch making him hiss in pain at him “She’s mine, got that”

“No way, She’s close to me, so I’m gonna have her”

Chanyeol tried to brush them off with the wave of his hand earning deadly glares from each member in the room but he didn’t care at all, just kept on rambling with those two.
“She’s more close to Jong-in and Kyungsoo”.

Baekhyun smirked and Chanyeol rolled his eyes at him.

“Jong-in likes cute nature and cute girls. There’s no way he’s gonna like her and our Kyungsoo likes humble girls. Our soul bi is humble but she loses her temper whenever she likes”.
Chen informed and Kyungsoo growled at him that earned no response from the latter. He was too busy chatting to notice.

“Kyungsoo does that too,” Chanyeol protested. “If they worked out they would be the best dangerous couple ever, scaring the whole underworld with just one wide eye glare”.
Kyungsoo punched Chanyeol with all his strength, shooting deadly wide eye glares at him, causing him to flinch and roll on the ground out of pain. As expected, nobody cared and Baekhyun continued their gossip diligently.

“Exactly,” his eyes sparkled in a devilish manner and Chen nodded as if he knew what Baekhyun was about to say. “The ‘Satansoobi’ couple”

And at his last words, the whole room filled with laughter and Kyungsoo just busied himself cracking his knuckles only to threaten Baekhyun.

“Seriously speaking,” Chen started in a mused tone and they all looked at him suspiciously. Chen’s this kind of serious tone always turned out to let out a troll. “It should be Joon myeon hyung in the shoes of Cara, how embarrassing it is for a guy to be saved by a girl and gotten yelled by her on top of everything. Men love to protect girls not to be protected by a girl”.

Joon myeon really never liked strong girls because his own heart was weak but still he was a man. He wanted to protect her girl not to be protected by her and judging by the situation, it really was embarrassing that she yelled on him for being acting dumb but in his heart, he didn’t know why, he couldn’t say that he didn’t like her just because she was strong. Why, it felt different, when it was about Cara, he had no idea.

And before he could think more, Yifan interrupted their meaningless chatter.

“It’s enough Baekhyun, Jong-dae,” Joon myeon shot lifted his head to look at Yifan who was glaring at the duo as their third partner was lying on the floor like an injured huge starfish. “Are you trying to cheer him up or embarrass him more and what’s with this romantic drama gossip, She’s our sister, mind it.”

Yifan’s cold glare hushed them up and Kyungsoo nodded just to add in Yifan’s words.
“If you don’t want her to be your sister, take her as your friend or brother, I know you guys do that but you shouldn’t say it even while joking because she’s already having troubles because of her gender,” Kyungsoo said looking straight at Joon myeon’s face as if he was studying his face for something Joon myeon didn’t know. Joon myeon wasn’t sure if he does so or not. He wasn’t sure about the relationship title he had with her and after hearing Kyungsoo out he fidgeted inwardly. “Besides, as Cara is our group member, she just fulfilled her duty of protecting her fellow member and who said girls shouldn’t be strong just to have a man protecting them. When you are in a relationship, it’s both your, and your girlfriend’s responsibility to keep the other from troubles. Gender doesn’t matter when you are in a relation. Men are humans as well, they break down, they feel terrified, they can have a weak heart too because you are not God or some divine create. Humans go through every kind of situation and it’s only a concept that girls need to be fragile just to be protected by men.” D.O saw everyone really attentive towards his words and it only brought a small smile on his face. Even Chanyeol sat up on the floor to listen to his words so he continued after a small breathe break and chose his words carefully just to make sure they reach their hearts and minds. “Cuteness and weakness of a girl only helps guys’ pride to rise but when you need someone to lean on, will you be able to show her your weak points?” He looked at them questionably but they had nothing to say. He sighed visibly. “Weakness and flaws of humans doesn’t mean they are imperfect, it means they have the vacant cracks in them those you will fill with your strong points and this way, your relationship grows strong and those cracks keep them interlocked. When you’ll show your weakness, she’ll help you with her strong points and when she would show you her weak point you were gonna fill those cracks. If a man doesn’t have the strong points you expect from a man to have, it doesn’t mean he’s not a man or he doesn’t have other strong points. Strength wasn’t meant for only men, it meant for to keep people close and protected.”

Kyungsoo slowly finished and Minseok picked up the speech with a nod, earning everyone’s attention right away.

“Exactly, and don’t forget Joon myeon was the one who rushed out from the interview only to see if she was alright. He was the only one who managed to talk to her friend and figure out where she could possibly be. He was the one who carried her to her apartment. He slept with her holding her hand all night.” Minseok reminded them and everyone slowly nodded in agree. Joon myeon’s eyes just wandered around the corner ceiling of the lounge. “And if she had acted all girly back there, we would’ve lost Joon myeon right there.” Minseok himself flinched in horror and Tao hugged Joon myeon more tightly. Yifan looked at Joon myeon’s distressed face and sighed inwardly. How lucky they were that they managed to have Joon myeon back. How lucky they were. He thought and thanked Cara in his head, unaware of the fact that everyone did so, in their head without saying it out loud. “She shouted on him because she was concerned as Kyungsoo said. Anybody would do that guys. Isn’t it like a pay back from her for Joon myeon’s efforts and speaking of which, she’s weak down there too. Didn’t you see her crying and fussing over letting Joon myeon go when Jong-in tried to separate them. I’ve witnessed horror and a break down in her eyes but Joon myeon kept his cool in front of everyone. He has the strength to keep his fears to himself and hide it really well. He kept on doing everything he didn’t want to and was afraid of until yet and I think this is the most masculine and strong point every man should posses.”

Minseok finished with a smile and Sehun hugged him with a baby squeak. Most of them smiled and few laughed at this. Joon myeon felt a burden getting off his chest. These two quiet people always knew when to open their mouths and steal the show just like Cara but she was somehow cheeky too in her other side. However, these two, Kyungsoo and Minseok did so only fewer times.

“Waa, it means Joon myeon hyung’s love story is just coming on its right track”

Tao couldn’t keep himself from squealing like a little boy who would do so after seeing her favorite candy store. Kyungsoo glared at him and Joon myeon gasped. The rest laughed at Joon myeon’s reaction besides Chanyeol who groaned at Tao down his throat.

“No way, like I said, she’s mine”.

He raised his punch in the air and growled in his deep voice. Baekhyun snapped his thumb with index finger and tossed Chanyeol’s words away.

“She’s mine Mr. Park Chanyeol!,” Chanyeol rolled his eyes at him quickly. “My snow princess Elsa at rescue!”.

Baekhyun said in an excited tone and the rest quickly tried to hide their smiles at his last words.

“Mine!!, you idiot!”.

Chanyeol punched him on his knee and he flinched before kicking Chanyeol back with his shoe tip. Lu han exhaled sharply.

“She’s nobody’s, she’s mine you bunch of idiots!”.

Lu han smirked and the rest threw themselves on the floor laughing at the top of their lungs at Chanyeol’s lost reaction when Kyungsoo narrowed his eyes on him. Why really Kyungsoo loved to hit him more than anyone else?, Chanyeol had no idea.

“I like Chansoo too”.

Baekhyun yelled while laughing and in a split of a second, they found the room filled with echoes of shouts, hitting thuds, verbal threats and laughter at the same moment.

Joon myeon laughed and looked at Yifan who was watching everyone messing with each other with his gummy handsome smile. Tao had joined others too. Joon myeon’s laughter changed into a warm closed lips smile watching Yifan smiling whole-heartedly.

Yifan looked at him and squeezed his hands warmly again.

“You should rest now Joon myeon”.

Yifan said and Joon myeon nodded slowly despite the fact he was too scared to sleep alone right now.

“Don’t worry,” Yifan started again. “Yixing is really disturb too,” Joon myeon looked towards Yixing who was sitting right in front of him with an distracted look on his face but the rest of their members were too busy messing with each other that they didn’t notice except Minseok who was holding his hand firmly but it didn’t stop him from spacing out.

Joon myeon sighed inwardly and looked towards Yifan again. He smiled at Joon myeon warmly again. “I knew he wanted to go with Soul bi, he’s her brother after all. He’s really scared for you and Soul bi but I didn’t want him to see Cara distressed and cold again. It only had added to his worries so you can ask him to sleep with you. It’ll help you both”.

Joon myeon smiled. Yifan knew him really well. He acts sometimes silly but he was more sensitive than Kyungsoo. Only that he liked to act carefree and cool but off screen, he was a big baby too sometimes.

“Give me my Kyungsoo back!”.

Chanyeol shouted and Joon myeon threw his head in his hands. These kids really!

“Don’t forget to take your prescriptions,” Yifan reminded him. “You know how Soul bi’s physician stressed on taking the prescriptions. I’ll ask Kyungsoo to help you. Come on get up”
Yifan tugged his hand and both got up with small smiles playing on their faces.

“Soul bi,” Jong-in grabbed her forearm firmly and stopped her from moving. She frost and turned her head to look at Jong-in’s worried face. He really looked concerned but Cara just couldn’t stop herself from doing the unnecessary stuff she was doing, so she fidgeted inwardly. She didn’t want to worry Jong-in as well. “When the schedule is already cancelled, why you still want to do it”

He was looking straight into her eyes and Cara had no choice but to drop her gaze on the floor, drawing circles on the floor surface with her shoe tip. Jong-in noticed her act but didn’t say anything and waited until she opened her mouth willingly.

“It’ll calm me down hyung,” She said in a soft tone still unable to look at Jong-in’s face. “It’s not evening yet so I can’t go to any park right now, and only one thing that can calm me down in a broad day is nothing but dancing”.

She replied him chewing her lower lip and Jong-in inhaled sharply, studying her cold and expressionless face.

“And I thought you were the strongest among us in hiding your internal feelings,” Jong-in started and she snapped looked up at his face with her north-Asian eyes similar to Kyungsoo, widen in confusion. “You were the strongest at controlling your emotions and keeping yourself as cold and emotionless as possible, what’s wrong now”.

He demanded. His eyes had the questions floating in the natural wet of orbs. She sighed and looked away chewing the lower lip more mercilessly. Jong-in with a poke of his finger stopped her from ruining her lips and Cara looked up at him again with a mental debate whether to tell Jong-in or not. However, she chose the first option without wasting much time, much to Jong-in’s surprise. He hadn’t had expected her to answer him for this. He knew her this much for God sake.

“I can’t do it when I choose to meddle in nature’s matters”.

Jong-in gave her a weird look at this confusing answer. Cara just looked away. She knew she shouldn’t have done this in the first place but worrying Jong-in wasn’t something she wanted either so she had to; and now what, Jong-in was giving her the weird look she had expected from him in the first place. If only Jong-in hadn’t done that but what did he know to not do that.

“What do you…”

Jong-in couldn’t finish his words when they heard a knock on the door. Both turned their heads to see stylist noona coming in. She was holding some cloths in her hands and Cara gulped instantly.

She now knew she’s doomed.

Her stitches were all ripped and there was all blood on her sides and stomach. Her clothes were stained too but she hid it really well until now. After saving Joon myeon, she could feel blood dripping from her wounds and flesh torn apart aggressively but it took time for blood to wet her shirt. Much to her luck, the blood wasn’t visible because of shirt’s color. It was black and blood was barely visible. The situation was so mind blowing that nobody noticed and when they had taken them in that room, they had covered them instantly with long thick coats, so there was no way they could’ve noticed. Nevertheless, she was doomed now. She had to change and if stylist noona saw blood on the clothes, her members would kill her right away, like Yifan had said; ‘he would kill her with his own worthy hands.’

She had no way out.

“Soul bi, Jong-in,” noona called them and she shifted her wait from one leg to other nervously but thankfully Jong-in didn’t notice her nervousness. His attention was towards their noona. “let’s go, filming is going to start in half an hour. You guys gotta get ready quickly”.
Jong-in nodded and looked at Cara, who instantly looked away.

“Let’s go”.

Jong-in grabbed her wrist and they both trailed their stylist noona.

Soul bi prayed in her head for a miracle that would blind noona’s view but miracles were no more in her hands to begin with.

Their stylist noonas and hyungs’ team parted in two and she, with three noonas, was stuck in a room where she had to change and hand the clothes back she was wearing.

She sighed and took off the clothes. Her white bandage dressing was in its messiest form. Complete red and black with dried blood, even her visible skin on stomach had dried blood all over along with the tips of white jeans and black shirt as well.

She ruffled her hair in annoyance and wore the other clothes noona had given her for the filming. If only she were in a bathroom instead of the changing room, she was in right now. There was no way she could carry those stained worn-off clothes with her in a bathroom to wash them without being caught by the noonas, waiting for her outside of the room.

She thought of taking the risk of begging noonas for not telling anyone about this and got out of the room with stained clothes piled on her left arm in a messed up form.

“You look beautiful in this Soul bi”.

One of the noonas smiled at her and stepped forward to collect clothes from her.

“Um,” Soul bi hesitated before speaking her heart out. “Noonas,” She gulped and dropped her gaze on the ground before continuing. The noona trio shared confused look among themselves before looking at nervous Cara, again. “There’s blood on the clothes, my stitches are ripped but I didn’t want anyone to worry about me, so nobody knows, can you please keep this confidential. I don’t want them to know… you know my hyungs!”.

She bit her lower lip right after finishing her words and the noona trio gasped in surprise at her words.

“Have you lost it Soul bi,” The same noona snapped got her in her arms, grabbing her from her forearms in a blink of an eye. “How can you be so cruel to yourself? Do you have any idea how your hyungs would feel if they found out about this. You are injured and yet you are gonna dance without telling anyone? You know how everyone was worried about you that you shouldn’t do the teasers right now because your stitches aren’t yet removed and now you want us to hide about this”.

“Noona…”.

She wanted to say something but noona hastily checked the worn-off clothes and her eyes widened in shock.

“Soul bi!,” the other two noonas came forward too and their gaze kept on switching between stains of cloths and Cara’s face rapidity. “Show me how bad it is”.

The former noona tried to pull her dress up just to check how bad her wounds were ripped but Cara stopped her by clutching her wrist in her firm grip.

“Please noona,” she begged with her sad looking eyes and the noona trio titled their heads in annoyance. “I won’t let anything happen to you, I’ll…”.

“We are not worried about ourselves for keeping this secret soul bi,” the other noona cut her off and almost yelled at her for being so reckless towards herself. “We are worried about you”.
“But I’ll consult my physician later I promise noona,” Cara hurriedly tried to convince them and the noona trio huffed in annoyance, left with no choice. “Besides, hyungs are already worried because of today’s incident. They need to be around Joon myeon hyung and take care of him more than I need them. Moreover, I don’t want them to worry more about me when they already went through a lot because of me.” She grabbed both the former noona’s hands and tried to reassure her with her warm smile defeating the trio’s concern instantly. “And trust me noona, I’ll take care of myself”.

Lastly, she hugged her and now the trio had no choice but to let her do what she wanted.
“Alright,” Noona grabbed her wrist and dragged her behind before continuing. “First aid first!”
“We don’t have time for this noona,” She was strong enough to free her wrist from noona’s grip quickly. “I can bear it, don’t worry, It won’t stain my dress, I’ve already wrapped my handkerchief over”.

She smiled and the trio rolled their eyes at her.

Kai took a deep breath before letting it out with an audible sound expressing his exhaustion over this matter. He looked at her tiredly. She was dancing in a baggy and an oversize shirt making him feel fed up to the back of his tooth. The filming was over since an hour ago and she was stubbornly, still dancing in front of him, practicing of tomorrow’s teaser filming. He didn’t try to join her even for a minute after they finished filming. Indeed, he was happy that even though, they both were disturb because of today’s incident and Cara hasn’t practiced a single time the whole week before for that, they had done a really good job. Moreover, most of the time, his heart acted really weird and he couldn’t take more of her because of how beautiful she looked but he somehow managed to keep his cool. However, it didn’t mean, he couldn’t feel her still distracted and it only annoyed him that, why dancing for continuously three hours wasn’t working. She said so but still it didn’t work yet.

How long would it take!; he just couldn’t take it anymore- so he stood up completely incensed and exhausted over this matter.

“Soul bi,” Kai called in an annoyed tone and Cara stopped abruptly at this call. “Just stop it already, you want to harm your stitches that badly?” little did he know she already had her wounds ripped. “I can see, you are still distracted, this isn’t working at all, so stop it”.

He came closer and rested his hand on her left shoulder. She tried to steady her vulgar breathe looking at his face but she didn’t respond. Jong-in had expected that so he continued talking all by himself.

“Let’s find another way to make you feel better,” he started again and Cara looked away not even a bit interested. “It’s dark outside already, we can go grab a delicious dinner to help you glow again as usual”.

Cara turned her head on the other side just to express her lack of interest in grabbing some delicious food or such. Jong-in understood her point and nodded to himself with a muse expression plastered all over his face, as if he was thinking of something else to make her feel better.

“How about an Ice-cream?.” Cara didn’t respond, not even tried to look at him.
“Hmm,” Jong-in thought for a moment before spitting out a new idea. “Chocolate, coffee, balloons or roses?.”

Cara groaned in annoyance and Kai laughed shyly at his own stupid ideas. At Cara’s groan, he came to realize that he wasn’t trying to convince a girl but a tom-boy and it only embarrassed him to the point of laughing at himself lightly and sheepishly.

“I’m sorry,” Kai said, scratching the back of his neck and Cara looked at him without any expression as if it had nothing to do with her. “I know you are not a kid… I mean…”.
“Hyung,” Cara cut him off and he stopped abruptly between his rambling. “Piggyback ride!”.
She reminded him and Kia slapped her forehead lightly for forgetting the right thing he already knew to do.

Piggyback ride was a habit Cara had adopted from the very first day (after the incident) of the week, she stayed with him in the practice room until dawn. Kai had to practice and Cara had to watch him to memories the steps. Kai had given her a piggyback ride because she was sleepy and it became her habit since, to ask for piggyback ride and staying late with him there.

“Right,” He smiled with a hint of a dimple on his left check that would melt anyone’s heart right away, and quickly sat down back facing Cara, ready to give her, ‘her demanded piggyback right’. “Get on”.

Cara tried to keep her face expressionless and cold before getting on his back but inwardly she was smiling at the affection Kai had for her.

“You know,” Kai, holding her legs around his own waist, got up and started in a low tone. Cara rested her chin on his shoulder and let her breathe fan Kai’s cheek. Little did she know it only caused his heart skip its beats every time. “Even when you are this strong physically, you seriously have no weight. You are not thin though. I wonder, why you have a weight of a feather. Its suspicious you know, I’m serious, you have no weight at all. Didn’t they take your weight before your profile set up”.

Cara gulped audibly. Kai caught her doing that but he didn’t say anything. He knew Cara won’t respond and so did she. It didn’t surprise him. He just wanted to tell her that and he did so. It was on Cara now whether to respond or not and when she didn’t, Kai decided to change the subject just to try and brighten up her mode a little.

“Soul bi,” Kai walked out of the door by pushing it open with his shoulder side and called her. She didn’t respond obviously. “Like you said today, you like Chansoo, do you really like chansoo more than kaisoo?”

Cara let out a small laugh at this and Kai sighed in relief. It really did work.

“ ‘course hyung,” She wrapped her hands around his neck in a more comfortable position before telling him about her weird thoughts. “I don’t like Chanbaek seriously, their personalities are really similar. When Kyungsoo hyung hits Chan hyung, I really love their Tom and Jerry fight. You don’t fight with Kyungsoo hyung and Kyungsoo hyung treats you more nicely. It’s good but I don’t get any exciting vibe from both Chanbaek and Kaisoo couple.”

Kai smiled unconsciously as Cara seemed really glad discussing that thing, so he decided to continue the discussion for a while longer.

“And what about other couples of our team”

Kai asked and Cara clicked her tongue before replying him excitedly. Company staff and some other trainees and Idols gave them knowing looks and smiles, little hellos as well, before passing by. Everyone was used to this view later or sooner after dark and it only earned warm smiles for this brotherly affection display.

“You know I’m a big fan of Krisho,” Cara told him with a loud laugh only to make his heart skip its beats aggressively. “Yifan hyung and Joon myeon hyung aha…” Kai laughed loudly at him with her. She was laughing non-stop too but it didn’t stop her from continuing anyway. “I know people like Sulay but I don’t like Sulay, I love Krisho, how I wish to see a krisho scene right in front of my eyes,” Cara said mischievously and Kai got troubles in keeping himself alive and walking without tripping on his foot because of how hard he was laughing at her words. “Well, I like Hunhan like everyone. I’m not against that couple; they can have each other and kiss already, I can declare them as husband and husband if you want,” Kai dropped her on the floor and threw himself too beside her, only to hold his stomach and mouth with both his hands earning weird looks from the people passing by in the lobby this time. But like they cared!
“And Xuilay is the best,” She chuckled and Kai tried to steady his breath and stop himself from laughing like a manic. “My lay hyung and Xiumin hyung are a heaven made couple, oh so cute!,” She squealed like a girl dreamingly and Kai whose laughter was dying down reached to its peek again causing his stomach clutched in pain. “Chen and Tao can have each other, only Chen hyung’s stupid trolls can be wushued by our Tao hyung’s wushu stick. They can scare each other as much as they want,” Kai threw his face in the bowl of his hands and Cara sneakered while huddling over Kai’s body like a little kid. “Hyung pick me up”.

She suddenly changed subject and Kai obeyed before taking a while to compose himself back and bowing apologizing towards the passing people for making this much noise.

“You know,” Kai settled her on his back one last time before walking. “You really are a weird shipper”.

“I know,” Cara chuckled and Kai smiled. “I just like it this way. Everyone has their own P.O.Vs at everything, sometimes completely different to everyone”.

She said and Kai nodded slightly.

“But my little weird shipper brother, what about me and Baekhyun hyung?.”

Kai asked out of nowhere and Cara clicked her tongue before taking a little time to think.
“Ah,” The idea hit her mind and she almost jumped clinging on Kai’s back but it didn’t really bother Kai, proving his words about Cara’s feather like weight. “Really simple hyung, Baekhyun hyung has a secret girl friend and you can be my partner, like the best couple, Kaibi or soulkai or may be Jong-bi…what do you think hyung?”

Cara’s tone was the proof of her casual suggestion but Kai’s heart didn’t think of anything before beating fast to the point of threatening out. His breathe dried in an instant and his all senses alarmed towards all the touches he was having of Cara. His brain chanted Cara’s words and he was losing his senses at this.

Little did they know someone heard them from a little far and that someone was none other than Joon myeon.

“That’s good”. Kai tried to keep his tone unaffected but his words shattered a little. However, much to his luck Cara didn’t notice because of how happy she was discussing this matter like a little child. “I like Jong-bi”.

“I like that too,” Cara yelled in happiness making Kai laugh at her cute childlike acts. “And hyung buy me coffee, Ice-cream, balloons, chocolate, roses and buy me candies too hyung”
Kai laughed more loudly at her sudden demand and she just chuckled without letting Kai realize that she felt Joon myeon’s presence right now. She didn’t know why she felt like that and she wasn’t sure if the feeling was true but she could really sense it.

Little did she know, he was watching them getting out of his sight laughing and chatting their hearts out.
