I.. I didn't know.. I.. I couldn't have known.. I know.. it's still my fault.. but please just.. just leave me alone..”
Leo opened his eyes with a start. He didn't know where he was. He didn't know who he was. He didn't know how. He didn't know why. Green eyes, green eyes watching him out of the darkness. Green eyes following his every move. Green eyes always watching, always judging. Shadows following like black hair, long black silky hair flying in the wind.
And there she was, standing over his bed, her green eyes piercing right into him, her slim white hands reaching out, sliding along his face, down towards his lips, passing them reaching his throat. Leo didn't even resist as her fingers slowly closed, tighter and tighter, cutting off his air. He didn't even resist when he's head started spinning and his vision getting blurry. Because she was smiling, she was happy, as long as she was smiling nothing mattered, nothing at all. He just lay there looking up at those beautiful yet hatful green eyes as his wife ran away, slowly.

Leo sat up with a jump, he's breathing irregular and shaky, sweat lying like a blanket over him, tears flowing from his eyes. Every night it was the same, those green eyes always following him as soon as he closed his eyes. Leo through his legs over the bed and rested his head in his hands. He didn't know how much he could take of this, how much before he really lost he's mind. But there wasn't anything he could do, he couldn't change the past or the present, he could do nothing but sit and wait for the madness to slowly consume him, until there was nothing left.

Leo sighed deep before he stood up, walking up to the mirror. He looked horrible, the bags under his eyes got darker and darker every day, he's skin paler and paler, he's face thinner and thinner. He couldn't sleep, he couldn't eat, he couldn't do anything. Everyday he's eyes got darker and darker, dimmer and dimmer until they disappeared in the darkness. With a deep sigh he looked up into the mirror once more.
With a scared help he stepped back as piercing green eyes stared back at him. But it was his reflection, but the eyes, the eyes, there were her's. He backed away as far as he could but still he's reflection was looking at him, not blinking.
”You know what you did, you know what you did to her.” The reflection spook with his own voice.
”I know. I know, please just leve me alone.” Leo yelled back.
”You know i can't, you need to pay for what you did, you need to pay for everything you did to her.” The reflection smirked.
”Please just leve me alone.. please i beg of you..” Leo pleaded helplessly.
”A eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life.” The reflection said in a silky tone.
”Leve me be!” Leo picked up the nearest chair and through it towards the mirror which shattered in a million shining pieces, destroying the eyes.

Leo was breathing hard where he sat on the floor surrounded by the mirror shards. They looked like small glittering diamonds, as pure as the brightest star. With a trembling hand he picked up a big shard by he's feat, gripping it hard, didn't even flinch as it cut into he's hand, or when the blood started dropping on the floor. He thought how easy it would be, just one cut is all it would take to end this. Just one small flick, not even one second, it all could end right now. He just had to do it, not looking back, no hesitating..
”Leo!? It's time for breakfast!”
