At [4PM] Bernard, Audrey, Nick, William, Charlie, Ben, Jason, James, Laurel, and Raina all came back from the beach. At the moment everyone walked into the house, Granny Anne told them to go upstairs to get ready for dinner and dressed nicely. They promised to be down for dinner at 6PM in the dinning room. While the food were in the oven, Ivy, Iris, Granny Anne, Silvana, Raina went upstairs to shower and get dressed into something nice.

After a while, Charlie was done showering and dressing up. Then it was Ivy's turn to shower. She dried her hair in the bathroom and put on her pretty arm sleeve red dress to her knees after showering. She walked out of the bathroom and Charlie looked at Ivy surprised. He realized how pretty she was in that red dress. Ivy felt a little awkward seeing him stare at her so she just walked to her dresser to put on her necklace. As she was putting it on, she struggled a bit. So Charlie came over to help her put it on. Then she sat there looking in the mirror at her necklace and Charlie looked at her admiring her looks. Ivy spoke up and told Charlie about the meaning behind the necklace.

Ivy (*says as looking in the mirror & touching it) : my mom gave me this necklace as a present.
Charlie (*asks) : on Christmas ?
Ivy (*nods & says) : it was the last thing she gave to me before she passed away.
Charlie : i'm sorry about your parents Ivy.
Charlie : i know how tough it could've been for you and Iris.
Ivy : Iris didnt know much because she was there, i was.
Charlie (*asks) : what happened ?
Ivy : it was the 5th of Christmas and i had came home for the holidays from college.
Ivy : we went out to the market to buy ingredients for the food.
Ivy : on the way back home, a huge truck ran into our car and it flipped over.
Ivy : the next thing i knew that i was in the hospital
Ivy : and that Granny Anne told me the devastating news about my parents passing.
Ivy : it couldve been me but god knew that i had to stay.
Ivy : i couldve been in heaven with my parents right now if the truck didnt hit my side.
Charlie (*asks) : where was Iris at the time ?
Ivy : She was working on her last case at her office before coming home for the holidays.
Ivy : thats why i only come home for Christmas because i miss them so much.
Charlie : im sorry Ivy.
Charlie : my mom passed away when i was in my teenage years, roughly in high school.
Ivy (*asks) : what about your dad ?
Charlie : he walked out on us right before i was born so i never knew who he was.
Charlie : till this day, i wished that the sickness my mom had didnt exist.
Charlie : it took her away just like that. she couldve had a couple more years with us.
Charlie : but she didnt.
Ivy : its hard losing people your close with.
Charlie : i agree but things like this happen to anyone in the world.
Charlie : its easier to keep them in your heart and move on with your life.
Ivy (*smiles & says) : that's very true.

Charlie turned around to get his tie that was on the bed and walked back over to Ivy where she stood up. Charlie gave Ivy the tie and asked her to tie it for him to complete his outfit. He wore black dress pants, baby blue collar dress shirt, and with the black tie that Ivy tied for him earlier.

They smiled at each other and went downstairs to join everyone else. Granny Anne, Ben, William, and Jason were already downstairs all dressed up nicely for dinner. Since everyone else was upstairs still getting ready, the guys, Ivy, and Granny Anne helped set the table and warm up the foods in the oven. After a while later, the food and silverware were already on the table neatly set.

Everyone else then came down dressing all nicely in dresses with stockings, and suits. They took their seats and smiled at each other. Then everyone hold each others hand using both hands around the table and putting their heads down for respect to say what they are thankful for before eating.

Granny Anne : i am thankful for everyone who came home for the holidays this year.
Granny Anne : this is the first time everyone had came home for Christmas so i thank you.
Tom Bailey : im thankful that you guys accept me into your family this year for Christmas.
Tom Bailey : its been the most fun holiday in years.
Silvana : im thankful for having such a wonderful and loving family.
Silvana : without you guys, i wouldnt be here.
Joe : i am thankful for everything that we all have been through.
Joe : and i wish that we would continue on what we love to do with our lives.
James : i am thankful for everything that has happened in my life
James : including working at the hospital as one of the top doctors there.
Amy : i am thankful for having such wonderful parents who understand me during rough times.
Amy : without mom, i wouldnt be working as a designer so thank you.
Iris : im thankful for my wonderful little family,
Iris : my sister; the only close person to me after mom and dad died, and all of you guys.
Iris : i couldnt ask for a better family.
Bernard : i am thankful for a good job, two awesome crazy kids, and a wife.
Nick : im thankful for having a mom, dad, and an older brother.
Audrey : i am thankful for all the awesome toys in the world.
Ivy : im thankful for everything that ive been through these past couple of years.
Ivy : also, i get to celebrate it with the people that i love the most.
Ivy : and even though my parents arent here, they are here in our hearts. so i thank you.
William : i am thankful for spending this year with you all and changing it up.
William : im so glad to meet different people who are so passionate about their work.
Charlie : im really thankful for knowing Ivy and spending Christmas this year with her family.
Charlie : so thank you.
Jason : i am thankful for accepting me to be a part of your family this year.
Ben : I just overall thankful for everything and taking good care of me on this trip.
Ben : sometimes, i forget that its not just a trip, its a family vacation.
Laurel : im thankful for having all of you by my side when i needed you guys the most.
Laurel : my days arent the same without you guys so thank you very much for being here.
Raina : i am thankful for bringing us all together in one house and eating good food.
Raina : and also just spending good quality time together thay i wont ever forget.

Everyone let each other hands go and looked up at each other. They began to eat as a family. Each and everyone passed the food around to get a piece of each dish. They talked, smiled, and enjoyed each other's company while eating. Everyone was so happy with spending time together.
