Then hours went by and it was night time. Everyone was in the backyard making a bonfire circling around the fire talking. Ivy was finishing showering and drying her hair in her room. Granny Anne came inside and talked to Ivy while she was there. Granny Anne came to sit on Ivy's to talk to her.

Granny Anne : Hey.
Ivy (*looks up at Granny Anne & says) : Hey.

Ivy puts the towel on her chair and came towards Granny Anne to sit next to her.

Granny Anne (*asks) : is everything okay with you ?
Ivy (*asks) : why do you ask ?
Granny Anne : its just that some people in the house thinks your down about something.
Ivy (*asks) : who thinks that ?
Granny Anne : Iris.
Granny Anne (*asks) : if this isnt about Alex, then what is ?
Ivy (*asks) : if i tell you, would you not tell anybody else besides Iris ?
Ivy : William, Ben, Jason, and Charlie knows about this.
Ivy : but they don't know my decision yet.
Granny Anne (*asks) : what is it that its bothering you ?

Ivy stood up and went to her backpack. She took out the contract in the folder. Then she walked back to sit next to Granny Anne. Ivy took a deep breathe and handed Granny Anne the contract folder. Granny Anne opened the folder and looked through it. She looked up at Ivy and asked......

Granny Anne (*asks) : what is this Ivy ?
Ivy : not long ago, a man came to our restaurant in New York City to eat there.
Ivy : his name was Wayne Todd. he is the Executive Manager for LACMA.
Ivy : and LACMA is Los Angeles Country Museum of Arts.
Ivy : its one of the top museums across the world.
Ivy : he saw a painting i draw for the restaurant and decided to talk to me about it.
Ivy : and so he did that night.
Ivy : he wanted me to come work for him and display my paintings.
Granny Anne (*asks) : and what did you tell him ?
Ivy : i said that i needed time to think about this.
Granny Anne (*asks) : and he's giving you the time ?
Ivy : as much as i need.
Granny Anne : you know, i cant be more proud of you Ivy.
Granny Anne : this is the next journey to your life.
Ivy : i know how much you and Iris are proud of me
Ivy : but there is so many things rushing through my head right now.
Granny Anne (*asks) : what is the problem ?
Ivy (*asks) : where am i going to stay if i take the job ?
Ivy : LACMA doesnt provide that.
Granny Anne : you can stay here with me, just like old times.
Granny Anne : this is the place where you grew up.
Ivy (*asks) : you wouldnt mind ?
Granny Anne : absolutely not.
Granny Anne : i was going to tell you to move back to LA to live with me in the mean time.
Ivy (*asks) : why ?
Granny Anne : because im getting old by the days.
Granny Anne : there is no one by my side to look after me when the holidays are over.
Ivy : if your lonely, you couldve just said so. i wouldve come back to you long time ago.
Granny Anne : you have a busy life and so does everyone else.
Granny Anne : i think that this time when you take the job at LACMA, you could stay here.
Granny Anne : and take care of me at the same time.
Granny Anne : i want that more than anything Ivy and you know it.
Ivy : i know Grams.
Granny Anne : so im guessing that you have thought about the contract lately.
Ivy : yeah.
Granny Anne (*asks) : any decisions yet ?
Ivy : im not sure.
Granny Anne (*asks) : what did the guys say about this ?
Ivy : they didnt say anything but i know that Charlie wants to say something to me.
Ivy : but he's not good with words or expressing his feelings for anything.
Ivy : so i dont know what he's thinking inside.
Granny Anne : we will be there for you with whatever decision you make Ivy.
Granny Anne : so just make a good decision.
Ivy (*asks) : how can i do that ?
Granny Anne : think about what your parents would say and follow your heart.

Granny Anne hands back Ivy's contract into her hands and continues to say...

Granny Anne : come on. its movie night again.
Ivy (*smiles & says) : Okay.

Granny Anne and Ivy came downstairs together and joined everyone in watching another Christmas movie. They gathered in the living room in their pajamas and getting comfortable. During half of the movie, Granny Anne went into the kitchen to make some more popcorn for everyone. Iris followed her from behind and went to talk to her while she was making the popcorn in the kitchen.

Iris (*asks) : so what did Ivy say ?
Granny Anne : well, she's been thinking about something that happened in New York.
Iris (*asks) : what is it ?
Granny Anne : LACMA offered her job here in LA.
Granny Anne : they wanted her to paint and display her paintings once they are completed.
Iris : Oh.
Granny Anne : yeah and she's confused if she should take the job or not.
Iris : that means that she has to move from New York City to LA again.
Granny Anne : thats right.
Iris (*asks) : and your okay with it ?
Granny Anne : if course i am. i let all of you stay here since its our family home.
Granny Anne : you know that we have to be there for her with whatever decision she makes.
Granny Anne : even if she isnt going to take it.
Iris : i understand.
Granny Anne : i think that boy has an opinion but he just doesnt want to tell Ivy about it.
Iris (*asks) : who ? Charlie ?
Granny Anne : yeah. its up to him for her to make that decision to leave or not.
Iris (*asks) : so we have to convince him to her to leave New York ?
Granny Anne : no. we cant do anything. just let Ivy do this on her own.
Iris : alright.

Afterwards, Granny Anne and Iris walked out of the kitchen with fresh popped popcorn. Everyone enjoyed the movie during the entire time.
