What's More Painful? To Forget, or Be Forgotten.

Park Jimin and Jenny Nguyen have a complicated past.

They were highschool sweethearts and they both were on the soccer team junior and senior year. They did everything together, they shared the same group of friends, so it wasn't tough to hang with each other and friends at the same time.

Jimin and Jenny was already going on a year and a half anniversary. They deeply loved and cared for each other. They were everyone's ideal couple

But slowly things began to change. Jenny became more distant and avoid Jimin as much as possible. Their conversations that use to be every second of the day drifted to be once or twice a day, but it usually ended quickly with Jenny rushing to leave.
Jimin was of course worried but couldn’t get through to Jenny, because everything he did she just pushed him away 10x further.

Jenny was in a tough situation at home, and not use to a support system, because she always dealt with these things alone, she couldn't handle jimin's love and care for her, resulting to her pushing him away and avoiding him.

Jimin respecting Jenny, waited for her to open up to him, but that backfired, 2 months before their graduation, Jenny resigned from school finishing the year home-schooled and ended the relationship with Jimin.
Despite Jimin's effort to convince her, they would still work out and fix whatever the problem was, but being stubborn Jenny refuse leaving him hurt, confused, heartbroken and angry.


3 years later

Jenny has pursued a degree in photography while, jimin pursued one in Music.
As if it was fate, Jimin and Jenny happen to walking down the same street, although Jenny was kind of in a rush and wasn't watching where she was exactly going. And with Jimin looking down at his phone
*Bam*
the two ran into each other.
oww, jenny was rubbing her head which had hit something a bit hard, a hand reached out to her, she grabbed it to help her get back on her feet. Ahh, gamsahabnida she said slightly bowing only to look up and lock eyes with…
“Jimin-ah”
“Are you alright?” He asked kind of boredly.
“Ne, kamsahamnida” “Ahhh, How are you?”
*awkward silence*
Looking down at his feet and rubbing his nape jimin relpied: “Um I don't like talking to my ex, so can we stop and just forget we even know each other?”
Shocked at what Jimin just told her, Jenny couldn’t help get teary eyed but smiling it away she nodded “Hmm, its not like well see each other again anyways (:”
She walked away, but she couldn't help turning into the nearest cafe and hide out in a restroom stall as she let her tears fall silently.
After Jenny left, Jimin let out a sigh, How long has it been? 2-3 years since he’s seen Jenny yet she's able to still make his heart race and skip a beat. But he's afraid of falling back in love with her and getting hurt again.


2 weeks later
Friends of both Jimin and Jenny invite them to a party, not knowing of their current situation and of course the first thing they notice at the party is each other.

When their friends say to say hello, but Jenny stays quiet, Her friends encourage her to open up because they know she's shy, looking up and remembering Jimin's words she pretends to not know him. annyeonghaseyo, Im jenny ^~^
Jenny is jimin, you don't have to be formal and introduce yourself.

jimin... jenny..?
haha jenny awkwardly laughs “you say that is if the name is suppose to mean something to me or if i know him”
what?? everyone stands in an awkward silence upon jenny's comment
jimin is surprised and hurt by jennys actions and words.
he realizes that he still likes her

while jenny is over at a table getting food, jimin approaches her, jenny notices his presence but doesn't turn to face him, jimin doesn't either.
Both jimin and Jenny reaches for different foods.

why did you do that?
i'm only playing the part you asked me too, jenny puts the food on her plate.
jimin sighs, i didnt mean it like that
but that is what you wanted jenny clenches her fist at her side as a tear falls from her eyes to the floor.
hey are you crying?
Anni, she tries to turn away and wipe her tears, but jimin pulls her wrist twisting her body to face him and pulls her chin to meet his eyes

there he saw the pain, heartache, fear and tears from her eyes.

shes shakes hims off and cleans her face leaving him alone and leaving the party confused and frustrated.
Jimin of course is still shocked

2 days later ~at the store~
Jenny is out shopping with friends, while her friends are searching for what they need, she reaches up to grab something and slips. She gasps but instead of feeling the hard ground, she feels warm perfect arms wrap around her body.
jimin catches her.
Jenny is shocked and steps out of his reach after jimin gentle sets her down.
jenny: *in head why can't I seem to avoid him
Jimin: *in head luckily I ran into her to catch her from falling, since I can't seem to avoid her does that mea…. nvm

Jimin: are you ok?
Jenny: nods “yes, thank you” still doing what jimin asks pretends to not know him, even though jimin starts acknowledging that he still likes her.
excuse me I have to find my friends,

Jenny finds her friends in the hair dye section of store
Yah?! where did you go?
Jenny: no where,(unwilling to mention what just happen) what are you guys getting?
We think we should all try something new, starting with our hair, what do you think?
Jenny:* in head: a new color would mean the old hurt me is gone and I can begin again as someone else with different hair. Sure ill do it what color?
Oooo!! Try this one! Its burgundy, but its looks red in the shade but purple in the sun!!
Itll look totally awesome!
Jenny: grabs the box to look at it
*phone buzzes* unknown number: don't ruin your hair, I love your natural color and hair.
Jenny looks around biting her lip, *why does he care, and what did he mean by that?*
she again looks at the box chewing her lips and exclaims “ok! lets do it (:”

time lapse
Jenny and her friends are in photography major while jimin is a music major

at a festival everyone that's anyone is there; including both jimin and Jenny, and their friends.

Jenny still puts up a front, pretending again to not know him.
Jenny: oh youre the boy i met at the last party, jimin right?
jimin having enough, and regretting what he told her, shouts in anger "Enough Jenny drop the act that you don't know me, Im sorry. Now please just stop!"
She although dying in the inside wanting to cry, but outwardly smiles and says “I don't know what your talking about?”
frustrated jimin drags her outside privately where they're surrounded by building walls.

jimin asks jenny again to stop but without looking in her eyes

why this is what you wanted and asked for remember?

just stop now.

wae?

because i still love you! jimin looks up fiercely at her

Jenny scoffs, stop messing with me jimin, my heart won't be able to stand another heartache after your words, she tries to move past jimin to leave but, jimin grabs her and a bit roughly pushes her to the wall locking their lips together. Jenny raises her hands to push him off, but jimin being swift and slick, grabs both her hands raising it above her head, as he uses one hand to pull her waist closer deepening the kiss.

She becomes weak in the knees from the kiss but jimin is supporting her with his arms wrapped around her, earning a moan from her, jimin takes it as an invite, his tongue slides in her mouth, searching all over, both of them fighting for dominance, in the end jimin winning.
he slowly releases his grip on her hands breaking the kiss and moving slowly moving down to her neck, making her moan his name softly as she grips a handful of his hair.
jimin smirking in victory looks jenny straight in the eye “i've missed you too much, too much it's hurt to be mad at you. so what do you say we give “us” another try?” Jenny smiles, ultimately blushing, feeling her heart flutter and tummy turn, I wouldnt have it any other way. (:
jimin chuckles and gives quick pecks all over her face and neck before stopping looking at her lips and kissing it, and biting it before letting go.

grabbing a piece of her hair he rubbed it between his fingers.
You still dyed your hair.
jenny bite her lip, you don't like it?
anni, i didn't say that, releasing her hair, i actually like it, it looks good ^~^
