Curiosity Kills
Incertitude
Inhye woke up after the dose of drink she had before. The images before her eyes were still blur. She sensed the surface she was on with her palms. It was matress, she was lying on a bed. As her hand slid farther, her fingers stroked against fingers of another hand, probably male. She smiled with closed eyes and slightly nuzzled into the figure beside her.
"So glad you're awake."
Her ears wiggled as she heard an unfamiliar voice instead of Jisoo.
"You smell like roses. I love it." His breath descended onto her ear.
She hardly opened her eyes. As soon as she came to senses, pangs of hunger along with an intense headache hugged her. She slid her face to her right side. The room was dark, with just a lamp radiating the small room.
"Roses?" She mumbled.
"Yes, roses." The male figure stroked her hair. "I am going smooth with you becuz you're delicate as rose... and sharp as its thorns."
She recognized the voice of the long haired guy and shivered as she conceived that she was completely naked, just a thin sheet hovering over her.
"Lets not hurt each other." He whispered cooly and grabbed the edge of the sheet and it slightly rolled off her.
"You can't." She yelled, holding the sheet tightly over her chest. "I belong to someone else." She muttered while pouting.
"Do I care? You should not care about it too. You belong to me as long as you're in this room." He grinned. He started inclining over her and she begin to slide back. "There's no way out. Your boyfriend won't even ever know about it. And don't lie to me that you're a faithful girlfriend."
She raised her puppy eyes and met his icy cold stare.
"Cuz faithful girlfriend don't stare at strangers while looking extremely vulnerable."
"I was drunk." She almost shrieked.
"Shhh!!!!" He situated his index finger over his lower lip. "Girl you should be happy to be able to spend your most exotic night with the most wanted guy."
"I-I don't even...." She sniffed and gulped back her tears. "Know who you are. I've just arrived here." Her paused tears started rolling down.
"It doesn't matter."
"I didn't even bring my cellphone."
"Nothing matters baby." He stroked his fingers against her cold cheeks, under which she shivered.
He didn't backed off but moved forward. He was slow almost lazy but as he indicated Inhye was already too vulnerable to be attacked by a lazy killer. He leaned over her. He didn't had the abs to brag about, nor did he possess any tattoos over his torso anywhere. But he had the most fit body she had witnessed. He even had a bullet mark or something like that over his right shoulder. He rubbed his thumb against her lips.
"How sweet! It almost feels like I am going to smash a rose." He lowered his head to meet her head's level. He stole the most beautiful kiss, Inhye thought she would never have later in her life. His kiss smashed nothing but tugged on her heart strings. The touch felt like her lips were caressed by thousand feathers. As his lips were plastered against her, he tugged onto the sheet.
She squeaked.
He backed off slowly and stared into her eyes. "W-who..." He paused, confused eyes glaring right through her. "Who are you?"
Her lips were sealed, almost paralyzed from his smooth kiss. She heard loud knocks over the door.
"Who are you?" He inquired again ignoring the person outside, or rather he didn't even notice.
On the next knock he shuddered. "Do not attemp to leave. Ok?" He warned as he got up and the left the room. She heard the room getting locked from outside.
She was now shivering at how bad her situation was! Her head was still spinning and she could hardly focus on anything. She flipped the sheet off her bare body and helped her get off the bed. She walked forward with her body pinned to the wall. Finally after a bit of struggle, she found the switch board and turned on the lights. She was now panting and sweating. She swore to herself that if she makes it out tonight, she won't ever be careless anymore about anything! Neither will she be curious.
Her eyes first roam over the floor to find her clothes. None were seen on the floor. She then reached for the bed and tossed the sheets but there was just a male t-shirt she got after the struggle. She cursed herself under her breath. She was extremely embarrassed to feel her naked body being exposed like this against the air in the room. Her eyes led her to the wardrobe and her smile reappeared. She ran to the wardrobe and stumbled on her way. She opened it but found a few male shirts. She saw a lock over a drawer.
She needed all the strength to save her life tonight but all the odds were against her. She took a deep breath and grabbed out a black shirt and put it on. The shirt was oversized but that moment nothing really mattered, as the stranger himself said. She keenly observed his shorts and put it on as well. She did a research over the room and found a window hidden with creme colored curtains. She slid opened the window and peeped down. She pointed out a pipeline line going down to the ground. She was on the 2nd floor. First she turned off the lights. She then carefully glided her body out and stepped onto the protruded ring around the pipe. Her head was still spinning and her hands were quivering. She slid down the pipe watchfully. To her mishap, her foot slipped and her body lost the balance to support herself. She inhaled sharply and glided into the air. She shut closed her eyes and her heart skipped its last loud beat, before she fell into strong arms.
