Dark Path to Love

I woke up alone. I really started to hate waking up alone. After showering, brushing my teeth, and putting on clothes, I made myself some Americano and a sandwich. GD's voice echoed the walls. He sounded happier than usual. I was super nosy so I decided to eavesdrop. "Yes, we are going to come tomorrow." There was a pause. "Of course Eomma, can I talk to Appa?" Another pause. "Hello. Aish, Appa don't say that." The way he sounded to his parents made him sound like a cute kid. It was killing me everytime he whined at his parents. "Yeah, we will meet at the restaruant on Anping Beach. Arasseo." He hung up the phone and walke dover to me. "I know, I'll pack," I siad. "You heard me?!" he asked counfused. "Well your voice does echo, you sound like a whiny kid," I said laughing. "Hey!" GD said pouting. "Yah GD, I am just joking," I said and walked away excitedly. I couldn't wait to go.
I went over to Jisoo and Yejin's house to see if they were coming along. I raised my hand to knock at the door when the grabbed me and pulled me into the house. "Shit! Yah, why did you do that?" I asked annoyed rubbing my sore arm. "There they are, get the snipers," Yejin said to Jisoo. My mouth was wide op en. She came back with two guns and handed win to Yejin. Opening the window slightly, they aimed at two suspicious men sneaking across the front yard. They dropped dead to the ground right when the bullet. I gawked at them. "You are wondering why we shot them, aren't you?" Jisoo asked. I nodded my head because I couldn't say anything. I completely forgot being sold to this mafia type group. "Well..." Yejin started off rubbing the back of her neck. " Our family has been at war for 50 years now. It all started when our grandfather Kwon Minjoon met Park Leetuk. They became very acquainted with each other. Minjoon decided to ask him to join our matress company which at the time was booming in business. Leetuk took up the offer and he went straight to work the next day. After a few months, the business started to fail even though more customers came in each day. When he tried ot contact the police, they didn't help him so he had ot investigate that himself. My uncle guarded the door that night and in the morning, he was found dead with signs that he was poisoined. What was even more mysterious is that all the money in the safe disappeared though it had some in it last night. After another month of confusion, my grandpa found Leetuk taking hte little money they earned during that month. He beat Leetuk up and fired him from the business. Leetuk fired back injuring our a lot of our family members. The peopel outside are Leetuk's sons, daughters, granddaughters, grandsons, nieces, nephews, and so on." My heart thumped in my chest. I looke doutside. The house wase swarmed around with them.That is when a frightened GD busted through the back door. "Pass me a shotgun," he said sweating. Jisoo tossed him one from under a desk. "Get behind the table!" GD said backing us up behind the kitchen counter. Two guys and a girl kicked down the door. The two guys were armed with pistols and the girl had nothing on her. Yejin fired the first shot hitting one guy inthe left arm. He seemed unfazed shooting at Yejin but she quickly dodged. GD aimed for the next shooting him right in the head. Before he hit the floor and died, he managed to graze GD's forehead. The girl stood there, looking at GD. with a menacingly sexy look. She was trying to seduce GD. She had long puple reddish hair with long legs and tan skin. GD tried to look away from her but he couldn't. I started to fume. I clenched my fists and walked up to her. "No Bora don't!" Jisoo and Yejin said warning me. I didn't listen to them. I grit my teeth at her. She snickered at me like I was a baby about to tattletale on her. She threw a punch right to my jaw. I dropped instantly. Wipping the blood of my face, I bit her ankle, hard. She dropped as well clutching her foot. "Ahhh! You bitch," she yelled clawing at me. I got up and kicked in the head with the back of my pumps leaving a gory wound on her forehead. "Get up, leave," I growled. She got up and limped to the doorway. I stepped on her foot making her yelp in pain. I kicked her litterally out the door. "That was kick-ass!" Yejin said pumping her fist in the air. I smiled but I thought over the moment. GD was still staring at that dirty little whore. I looked at GD with a sad look. His face softened knowing what I was thinking about. He opened his mouth to say somehting but he just couldn't. Yejin and Jisoo noticed the exchange of looks between GD and I shaking their heads. Iwas about to storm out but a shot broke the window coming for me. Jisoo dived in front of me taking the shot in the chest. "JISOO!" I yelled crying over her. "I'll be fine, I promise," she said smiling weakly. She tried to keep her eyes open but eventualy failed. The ambulance came taking Jisoo to the hospital. A woman dressed in a nurses uniform came over to me with a sympathetic look. "We would help you investigate but everyone in the police department was murdered. No one knows what happened or why." She patted me on the back and left. After the nurses left GD with bandages on his arm, GD came and crouched with me. "Don't touch me!" I whispered pushing his hands away from me.
