“Kris! You’re here again? You’ve been coming daily lately is something wrong?” Lay asked Kris innocently. Kris smiled at him before roughing the younger’s hair.

“Don’t worry Lay nothing’s wrong I just want to hang around you guys more before I leave.” Kris told him. Lay tilted his head in confusement and decided to ask.

“What do you mean? You’re leaving? When?” Lay asked, slightly upset. Kris slightly nodded.

“Yeah in 3 days.”Kris answered.

“How come?” Lay questioned. Kris looked through a window smiling.

“Because I don’t belong here. I’m only ruining others lives if I stay here. I’m not needed here.” Kris replied. Lay was confused. He wanted to say that he’s not ruining others lives but he kept quiet thinking how weird his hyung was.

Jeong was alone at her shared room with Tao when she heard a knock on the door. Jeong turned around to see Kris. Before she could say anything Kris started to talk. “Relax. I won’t ask or bribe you to go back together. I just wanted to talk.” He said. Jeong thought before nodding, making a small okay. Kris walked forward to sit next to her and started to talk. “I’m leaving Korea in 3 days to go back to China. I’ve realized that you have fallen in love with someone who is not me and it is just pointless to stay here.” Kris explained. Jeong listened carefully.

“Why did you come here?” Jeong asked softly. Kris looked at her, looking deep into her eyes.

“To get you back.” He answered truthly. Jeong looked at him, shocked, lost for words. Kris chuckled at her reaction before standing up.

“Well I got to go or else I’ll feel like I am going to kiss you also I have to go pack I’ll…see you later.” Kris awkwardly said about to go when Jeong grabbed his wrist.

“I’m sorry Kris…I didn’t know.” She told him, thinking about everything that has happened ever since Kris has arrived. Kris smiled at her.

“Don’t worry Jeong it’s not your fault that you fell in love with someone else Jeong it’s not your fault that you fell in love with someone else. It’s okay, really.”He tried to assure her but all Jeong did was sigh before nodding, deciding to drop it. Kris ruffled her hair before walking out of the room.

3 Days Later

EXO and Jeong were in the airport seeing Kris off. As Kris was hugging and talking to each member he finally reached to Jeong. “I guess this is a goodbye.” Kris awkwardly said. Jeong’s eyes were glistening in tears when one slowly left, dropping downwards to her cheek. Kris wiped the tear away, kneeling so he could face Jeong. “There’s no need to cry Jeong.We’ll meet again but in better terms.” Kris softly told her. Jeong pouted.

“Promise?” She asked him. He smiled at her, nodding his head.

"Promise."
