Mysterious Exo

Chapter Two-Only The Rich Succeed

Only the Rich Succeed:

The air was thick and the night was dark; barely any noise, except for the sound of radiators turning off and on.

Oh Se-hun was lying quietly in his bed, listening to the sound of water dripping from the gutters onto the window.

He did not live a glamorous life, but he still would not give it up for the world. Him and his eleven other Hyung’s were best friends. They’ve stuck together through thick and thin.

However, they bare a secret that no one knows, except for them. Something so secretive and astonishing; that I can only reveal throughout the story.

So, if you thought I was going to tell you an amazing, unheard of secret within the first chapter, then you thought wrong.

Although, I can tell you the beginnings of these twelve boys, so sit down and be prepared for an adventure.
*The Very Unfortunate Past of EXO*

Though these boys carried laughter and smiles everywhere, they went; the conditions of their homestead were not all smiles and laughter. In fact, they lived in the alleyway of an alleyway. Pretty much the slummiest part of the town; their parents were always fighting, fists included. When their next meal was available, was never known and they never received enough love that a child should experience.

However, even after all these hardships, they found a reason to smile and that was their inseparable friendship. Since little children, the twelve stuck together, never leaving each other’s side.

But, it doesn’t quite end there. No, there was a thirteenth member to this duo; it was freak accident, an unpredictable occurrence.

As a local news station once reported, “Little Sang Geun-Wa died at the age of five yesterday, while sliding down a snow hill a vehicle ran over Guen-Wa as he came down the hill.”

That was over two years ago, for those twelve boys that day, fifteen years ago.

The saddest part of the whole incident was that the only people crying that day, was them. That’s the cold-hard truth of being born poor, no one cares whether live or die. No one cries, no one protests, no one fights back.

So, the twelve boys swore that no matter how hard and long it took; they would leave the slumps and find a place to belong. And well, nearly eleven years later, they did.

Right in the spotlight of attention, the K-pop industry and the story of how they got there is quite interesting.
