Chapter 9: Finally Recogonized
~Jungkook's POV~
I woke up to my alarm blaring right next to me. The light peaking through my curtains shining into my eyes. I finally sat up on my bed, slightly dizzy with a headache as well. I headed towards the kitchen getting these flashbacks so suddenly I stopped putting my hand on the wall covering my face.. What is happening. Jin hyung came towards me, "You okay?" He asked with concern in his voice. I stood back up still dizzy, and nodded getting a plate of pancakes that he cooked for breakfast. I ate quite slow, still getting those flashbacks of my neighborhood I used to live in as a kid, and the same the little girl I kept seeing. The flashbacks always ended before I could see her face. We had a concert tomorrow in Chicago obviously for The Red Bullet. I had to tell Lilian that I was going so I wouldn't just leave without her knowing. I called her telling her I needed to meet her at the park to tell her some news. She agreed I quickly got dressed and went to the park. Apparently she was already there, waiting for me. I sat down next to her. "So what's the news?" She asked with a slight smile.
" I have to go to a concert in Chicago. And I wanted to tell you before I left. I have to get on the plane today. Can I see you back here waiting for me?" I quickly said watching her reaction. She seemed quite shocked at that, but she smiled. "Yeah I'll wait for you back here. Hwaiting." She replied giving me a tight hug and kissed me on the cheek.
I was basically happy to hear, that she took it well then I expected. I hugged her and went back to the dorm to pack. I saw everyone at the door waiting for me with their arms crossed. "What?" I asked with confusion.
"Who did you just meet Jungkook-ie?" Suga asked looking at me as if they heard my conversation with Lily on the phone.
"A uhm... friend?" I hestitated at first but I lied. They seriously were like staring into my soul.
"We know your lying." Jimin said already. I scratched my head hoping they wouldn't find about her because they would just do a full on interrogation on her.. I had to tell them anyway..
"Fine. I.. ehm have a girlfriend." I finally said. They all had their mouths opened with shock. J-hope patted my back finally saying " Who is the lucky lady?"
" Ehmm.. Her name is Lilian.. And I really don't want to introduce her to you guys yet..." I said scratching my head.
"Wai? Are we embarrasing or something?" Jin asked laughing slightly. To be honest they were kinda embarrasing, but eventually I had to introduce her.
"After the concert I will introduce you guys I guess.." I replied, heading to my room packing my things.
-On the Airplane-
I basically fell asleep. In my dreams I saw the same girl and It revealed her face. Which looked the same as Lilian's.. Could it be her? No that's not possible... That's also possible how she knew me in the hospital and cried for me. I don't think so.. My inside voice was saying it was her. She was from my old childhood, and we actually both liked each other but never got the courage to tell each other. Her parents had died in a car crash and she was like 7 and almost got hit by a truck... Everything came back to me in a slight second basically hurting my brain. I saw a image of her in the hospital then she left to get away from Korea.. I said I would wait for.. her.. A tear fell from my face. I woke up suddenly. "The plane will shortly arrive in Chicago please stay in your seats." The pilot said on the announcer. I texted Lilian, saying we needed to talk when I got back. The concert rehearsals started early. We practiced all our songs. When we finished our rehearsals we were practically drenched in sweat since It was so hot in the Theater. Beep. I grabbed my phone and Lilian replied saying " Ok Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine. We just finished rehearsals. Somehow I feel nervous." I told her.
"You'll do fine. Don't worry. I'm there in spirit. Hwaiting!!" She replied. That literally lighted my hopes up. The stylist put on my makeup and styled my hair. And we got ready to go on. I was nervous at first. But I remembered what Lilian had said. I smilied and kept preforming. At the end we teached them Korean , when we were singing Miss Right. When we got off We were all quite tired. I checked my phone. "I wish I could see your performance. Bet you guys did awesome. Hurry back! I miss you already." Wow what a thoughtful reply. I finally got back it was literally like 8 in the morning but I got some sleep on the plane. I went to meet Lilian back in the park again. "Hey Lilian." I greeted her with a tight hug. She put her arms around me. We let go and sat on the bench. "Okay, so I wanted to ask if.. uhm. We knew each other when we were kids?" I pratically threw that question at her out of nowhere. She knew something I could tell it off her face. "Yeah... we did. But I thought you didn't remember me.." She replied while a tear dropped off her face. I wiped the tear off her cheek. " Don't cry in front of me please.. I didn't remember you because I had temporary amnesia. I'm sorry I made you cry that day.." I hugged her as I finally finished saying those words.
" Yeah we became friends when you actually rescued me from that truck and I was in the hospital." She slightly giggled. "You literally offered to stay with me but I left to get out of Korea since the bad memories I had gotten. I only came back because I missed you.." She replied. I came closer to her until our faces were centimeters away and then we kissed passionately.
"Oh, my members want to meet you. I told them about us." I said.
"Wow Really? Are you sure you want this though?" She asked me.
"Yeah, I really want you to meet them even though they are quite embarrassing to me.." I replied laughing and scratching my head. We held hands and went towards my dorm.
