Chapter 1: Flashback
~Lilian's POV~
I was just a little girl when my parents had died in a car accident. I was devastated, I remember it all.
-Flashback-
Ring Ring Ring, The phone went. The babysitter walked and answered it. "Hello?" She said.
"What? They died in a car accident?" She looked at me, covering her mouth and looking like she was about to faint. She hung up the phone.
"What happened to mommy and daddy?" I asked with a cute tone.
"They aren't coming back Lilian." She responded, while a tear dropped and went down her face. I thought, Why aren't they coming back, What's happening. I started to cry. My whole world was crumbling before me, How could this be happening to me.
"Don't cry Lilian. It's okay." She said trying to comfort me. I pushed her and ran out the door and onto the street.
Beep Beep. I saw a truck, the lights coming towards me. Life flashed before my eyes until someone wrapped their arms around me and pulled me back. I fainted. I woke up to be in a hospital and saw a guy holding my hand and sleeping on my lap. Did he save me? And stay at the hospital the whole night? I thought as I stared at him. I shook his hand, "Wake up." I whispered. He didn't budge a bit. So I tried again "Wake up." I whispered this time in his ear. He slowly got up rubbing his eyes and stretched his arms in the air.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Oh, I saved you early by the truck. I'm Jungkook." He replied slightly scratching his head.
"Well, Thanks but I really didn't need you to save me." I said, putting my head down as a tear fell down onto the blanket.
"What's wrong?" He asked with concern and lifted my face up, wiping the tear away.
"My parents died.... in a car accident. Now I have no one.." I paused, making me talk about it made me cry even more. My chest hurts, I want them back, please. He got up from his chair, and gave me a warm hug.
"Don't worry, I'll be here for you." He said still hugging me. I cried on his shoulder.
"Thanks Jungkook. You're really awesome." I thanked him smiling and hugged him back. "But seriously you stayed the whole night?" I continued.
"Yeah, I had to make sure you were okay." He replied scratching his head.
"I think I'm going to go to America. To just get space from Korea." I explained taking the sheets off me and putting on my shoes and leaving the room. As I walked down the hallway, I looked back to see Jungkook standing at the door, I waved goodbye and ran quickly to my house packing my suitcase and getting some money, and going to the airport in a taxi.
"I'd like a ticket to America please." I asked the lady, She gave me a ticket and I went on the flight, looking out the window as the plane took of into the air. Leaving Korea to America.
