Was it a miracle?

It was an ordinary day, sunny in the morning and school, I woke up and did my usual routine, washing my face and finding a comfortable outfit for the day that consisted of a coral blouses and light blue ripped jean shorts, skipping breakfast I head to my nearby university to meet up with my close friend Hyolyn.
The college life was typical, you went to school to learn, and you studied that knowledge to pass exams and finals and with all of this it determined where you would be going in the future. With this said this was my everyday life until I finish college and go find a job.
After classes were done, I walked to my work place, a nearby cafe with Hyolyn. We discussed about our classes together until we had arrived to the shop, I opened the door and we entered, saying hello to the workers and walking back into the lockers to change into our work outfits.

"Hey M, how have your studies been going?"

"Studies?" I hesitated for a moment. "Its been going well.... How about you?"

She frowned at me.

"You already know why I'm asking, I've known you since we're were little, do I look like the type of person to forget anything easily"

"Haha yes, because you have a goldfish memory Hyolyn"

"Oh shut up"

We both just laugh.

I take her mirror and inspect my eyes, she was right, my eyes were a tint darker. I put her mirror away and head to the fornt of the store to ring up a line of customers.
