Areum blinked. What a nightmare. She tried to sleep but that was just making thing worse. Why? Flashbacks. Memories. All flashback aimed her and all she need is to listen and see it. Long ago.. A cute girl walked with a boy beside her. Kindergarten school. Walking like she was her bodyguard or something. She walk to her locker and searched something in her bag. "Where is my lunch box?"she asked. Digging into the beg as far as she could. "Maybe you forget to bring it. Ah.. don't worry. Share with me." The boy with a lovely smile grin at her. Then, they walked to their classroom with the 'Awww...' 'How cute' 'couple! Couple!'shout. And for sure it came from the teacher. *** "Come on! Or I leave you alone,Wizard." The girl yelled. She's so irritated by that boy for tying his shoes like forever. "Wait up, Gnome."the girl scoffed. She walked first leaving the boy behind. "Areum! Gnomy ! Wait up." He ran to Areum who was leaving her like 1 meter behind. Areum suddenly stop. "Finally you stop!" He rushed to her. He tried to talk to Areum but that girl seems to froze at her spot. He waved his hand in front of her eyes. No response. He looked to where she was looking at laught. It was a dog. Stood still in front of them. Watching without moving an inches of his muscles. On what Areum saw,the dog wasn't tied up but for a crazy kid like that boy, he saw the dog tied into a tree. "Bad dog! Pity you tied up there."he dance in front of the dog. What the heck are you doing? The girl shouted. Areum ran first. Leaving the crazy boy behind..again. The dog started barked and his leg started to run. "Areum! Wait!" He ran too. Not too long, they lost the dog sign. Good thing though. "Yah! Are you blind? Can't you see it wasn't tied? You ergghh.."she yelled. The boy looked down. Areum turned and about to walk. That boy followed her but he stepped at the girl's shoelace. If course thats make she felt so does him. "Minho!"she groaned but silence hit them. Areum's knee felt hurt and sting. Minho land right a few inches from Areum's face. She was .started.They didn't move for a while until Areum started to cry. Minho hurriedly stood up. He was so panicked that he doesn't know what to do but watch. "Minho!! Help me." Areum let out her hand and Minho grab it to help her stand up. "Sorry, Areum." Minho looked at the ground. Feeling guilty making Areum's knee bleeding. Areum hummed. "Here. To make you feel better." the young boy gave Areum a lollipop. Areum stared at the lime flavour lollipop. "I won't take it." She started to walk, leaving that confused boy a few steps behind. "Why? Take it. It's yours. This lollipop shows that I'm sorry. " he put the candy at Areum's hand but Areum put it back on his. Minho felt more guilty. "I said I won't take it. Unless you got vanilla and chocolate flavour ones." She smile and continued to walk home. "Oh mo! Areum honey. What happened to you knee?" An average lady asked. "I'm sorry Mrs. Kim. I didn't mean to. It's all my fault. A dog was chasing us and then..and then..huhhh"he let out a sigh. "It's okay, sweetie. You want to come in and have a glass of hot chocolate?" She invited. "It's okay. I can have it at home" he bowed. "Sweetie it's okay. Come on in" the lady asked again. "No. It's okay." Again. He bowed. "Sweetie -" Minho hurriedly cut of her sentence. "My house located right next to yours Mrs. Kim. I can have it at home." "Come on in." The lady grin. Minho sigh and stepped inside the house. "Thanks Mrs. Kim. I'm going to leave first." he walked. Areum followed him before he could really left the house."Minho. Thanks. " she smiled. "For what? All I did was making you hurt."he pointed at her knee."It's fun though... even we got chased by a dog. Thanks."she hugged Minho. "Sure. I'll be with you forever so we could have fun again."he hugged back. "Forever?" Areum pulled from the hug. "Forever."he grin.
