Why Is Your Love So Cold?

We both pull away quickly and stare at the door. Someone knocked again. I start panicking. ‘Oh, my gosh! What do we do I don't want anyone else to know that we are together.’ I start to push Mark to get him to hide. The person starts to knock even more.
"Quick, hide behind the couch." I mutter, pushing him towards the direction of the couch. Mark quickly runs to hide behind the couch, or trips up behind the couch; all I heard was a thump.
I hastily walk towards the door to open it, trying to hold in my laughter.
"CONGRATULATIONS!!”
I almost had a heart attack. TWICE was here to congratulate me. MoMo quickly pushes past her members to come and hug me.
"You did great out there. We wanted to invite you out to dinner with us to celebrate." Nayeon peers over from behind MoMo’s hair. "Sure I would love to." I reply.
“Do you want us to wait in here for you?” She asks while trying to step in but I abruptly block the doorway with my arm.
"No! Um...I mean no, that's ok you guys can go ahead I'll meet you there, I have to call my mom,"
"Ok...We’ll see you there."They wave me goodbye and walk back down the hallway. Once I close the door, I slowly lean back on it and take a breath of relief. "You can come out now."
Mark crawls out from behind the couch, and jumps to his feet, dusting off his knees.
"That was close."I plopped myself down on the couch holding my chest, "They really scared me. I really don't want everyone to know about us."
"Don't worry about it,” he says walking over, "No one will find out." He says taking a seat next to me.
I lay my head on his shoulder as he wraps his arm around my waist. We stay like this for a few minutes.
"Oh! I almost forgot I'm supposed to go out with TWICE for dinner you and the rest of GOT7 should come too".
I left with Mark and the rest of GOT7 to go have dinner with TWICE. When we arrived they were already sitting down at a huge table in the corner of the restaurant. As I walk over and they see me they all begin to smile at me and welcome me with a bunch of hugs. I take a seat in between Mark and Jackson. “Congratulations! Congratulations!” He begins singing to me; I couldn’t do anything but smile and laugh. The waitress comes over to take our orders. After about 20 minutes she comes back with our meals. I ordered a grilled burger with chips and salsa, before I can even start Mark steals two of my chips then casually eats them, while grinning at me. I just glare at him, but laugh it off as I steal some food off of his plate while he was busy grinning at me.


After dinner we all decide to go get ice cream. I was originally walking with Jackson and JB, who were leading the way but I decided to slow down and walk with Mark; soon enough everyone was ahead of Mark and I. We had really random conversations about what whatever we saw around us, and then I began teasing Youngjae. I didn’t realise it but we were walking really close to each other, close enough that I realised we were holding hands.
Momo and Jihyo, who weren’t too far away from us began to turn around, so I quickly let go of his hand even though I didn’t want to, before they could see us. They just smiled at me. Then all of a sudden their facial expression changed and Jihyo arched an eyebrow. Momo ran over and grabbed my arm and pulled me to the rest of the TWICE members.
"You and Mark are close aren't you?" She giggled.
"Huh? " I looked at her confused; But inside I was screaming hoping I wasn’t that obvious.
"Oh, sorry I just meant that, you guys were just walking really close to each other and I noticed that you two are always talking to each other a lot more than you do to the other members."
"Oh we're just really good friends. That's all". I reply back laughing it off. She gives me a weird look, and I simply look back at her with the most innocent face I could do, she shrugs it off, "So what's your favourite ice cream flavour?”
