Why Is Your Love So Cold?

It’s been 2 days and I’ve been so busy, and I haven’t been able to see Mark. We occasionally bumped into each other, but we didn’t even talk, only awkward smiles were exchanged. My MV shoot is in 4 days, and I’m still practicing like crazy, without much sleep, I just want my debut to be good.
After half an hour, when I decided I needed a break, I took a shower. I’ve dried off my hair and I’m relaxed and calm, walking home should be okay and it’s not even dark. The hallways are empty giving me time for myself, well it was but Mark suddenly appeared as he stepped out from a room, his face lit up when he saw me, “Hey, are you busy right now?” He quickly asks.
“No, why?” I shyly reply.
“Let’s go on a date,” He answers, with this unusual confident tone.
“D-date? Now? Aren’t you busy,” I question with a slight stutter. Obviously I’m happy to hear this, but the idea fills me with worry. His usual smirk appears on his face again.
“No… I know girls would probably want to go home and get ready but you look nice already,” he chuckles,
“Thanks,” I reply, suddenly feeling happy that I had a shower here instead of at home, “…so what are going to do?”
“Would you like to see a movie?”
“Yeah, that sounds great, there are so many good films out,” I reply trying to stay in control.
“You don’t get scared at horror movies right?” He asks with a smirk.
“You’re kidding me? I don’t get scared at horror movies!” I tease.
“Great it’s a date,” He gently grabs my hand, and we leave towards the back, Butterflies so many butterflies…
“I didn’t know you had a car,” I ask bewildered, looking at a beautiful slick, black Mercedes.
“Yeah. Me and JB are the only ones that can drive yet, since we’re the oldest, Jackson is currently learning,”
“That’s cool, I don’t know how to drive yet, never really wanted to learn after…” The thought of what happened…I just can’t...
“After…?” Mark adds when I don’t continue with my sentence.
“My dad died,” The strain could be heard in my voice.
“Rian…I had no idea, you don’t have to continue,” Mark begins to panic. I give him a small smile, “It’s okay, let’s just enjoy today,” I attempt to bring the mood back up.
Once we arrive at the cinema, I begin to put on my sunglasses and hat. “Once we get inside, it should be empty,” Mark says as we get out the car. I wonder why it would be empty. To be honest I’ve never been to this cinema before, I’ve never even heard of it.
“Mark, I’ve never been to this cinema before, I didn’t even know this one existed,”
“It’s a private cinema, only celebrities find out about this place,” He answers.
“Wow,” It looks much better than the regular cinemas. It’s much bigger and better looking. We make our way to one of the screening rooms, surprisingly there happened to be a few people but you couldn’t tell who they were.
The movie begins, so far so good nothing scary has happened. Around 20 minutes into the film, it becomes eerie. There happened to be a few jump scares but neither Mark nor I got scared. Just when things began to calm down in the film a gruesome part came out of nowhere, the floor underneath two characters opened up and we could see them being crushed, I thought that part was quite disgusting so I leaned on Mark’s shoulder will covering my eyes. “Is it finished?” I whisper.
“Yeah. You can look up now,” He chuckles. I return to watching the movie and a jump-scare happens at that same moment that I end up screaming. Mark seems to enjoy my reaction and laughs at me. I playfully punch his arm. “It’s not funny,” I mumble.
