Why Is Your Love So Cold?

JYP hands me the camera, “Real Rian episode 2 filming starts today. You will explain that preparations for your debut cannot be broadcasted so to make it up to them, you will perform 2 of your favourite songs. Something that has rap and vocals. The camera crew will come and help film it for you. Just let the crew know what you want to do before they go around following you everywhere. Good luck.”
And with that I left the office.

Real Rian Episode 2
Rian: Hey guys! My debut is coming soon, but I can’t film any of my preparations. They will be revealed in the near future so don’t worry about that. So for this episode I’ll perform a rap for you all.
[Camera cuts to Rian in a practice room with a microphone in hand]

Rian: Wish me luck for my debut, I hope you’ll all enjoy it and I hope to gain many fans!

Rian’s P.O.V
The only thing I can think of is practicing JYP said that filming for my Music video could be scheduled for next week after he sees my performances of my songs from the album.
I’m nervously standing in front of him, my manager and other assistants of JYP.
I perform the slowest song first and perform the most upbeat song last, called ‘You Don’t Know’.
“Rian, I’m really proud of your progress and determination you’ve shown me, I’m arranging your MV shoot for next week,” JYP says with a smile.
“Kamsahamnida,” I say while bowing.
“Great, your debut song will be ‘You Don’t Know’. It’s upbeat its good lyrics and shows you potential of your vocal range rapping and dancing more,” He confirms before leaving.
“Arasso! Kamsahamnida!”
Everyone else leaves apart from my manager. “Great work Rian!” He says high fiving me. “Keep practicing and stay healthy” and with that he leaves. I quickly take out my phone and decide to ring my mum.
“Hey mum, how are you?”
[I’m good thanks, how is it over at JYP?]
“It’s good”
[How is Yeeun doing?]
“Good her schedule has been full already, do that’s good for her.”
[What about you honey?]
“Well…” I start off sad, “I’m going to debut, I’m filming my MV next week!” I happily chime.
[Oh! Rian that’s amazing! I’m so proud of both of you!] She replies equally as happy. [I can’t wait to see the music video and hear your amazing songs! I’m so proud!]
“Thanks, I’ll talk to you later, bye” And with that I hang up. I don’t have much to do now. I might as well leave and practice tomorrow. The last person I want to see is Mark, for obvious reasons. I don’t know how I’ll act or how he will, and I don’t want either of us to be upset for any reason.
As I head out the practice room, towards the main exit, I bump into Momo, from TWICE, I haven’t had the chance to talk to any of the members yet, but whenever I see them, they always smile at me. “Anyeonghasseyo.” I politely bow. “Anyeonghasseyo.”
“Well done on your debut, you did really well and I love your song,” I begin before an awkward silence settles. She smiles, “Thank you. You know, I can’t wait for your debut, I’ve seen some of your practices. You’re really good,” She replies.
“Thanks, I’m really excited for it too,” I add. That’s when I saw it, Mark and the rest of GOT7 heading inside the building. I can’t let him see me.
“We should catch up later, but I need to go now,” I say as quickly as possible.
“Wha….? Okay, bye” She says looking confused, but quickly shrugs it off and heads further inside the building.
I decide to go back to my previous practice room, before they could see me. I might as well play some random music so they don’t walk in by mistake. Since I’m already in the room I might as well practice a little. I just do random dances, including those from my album…I may have gotten carried away I’ve been in here an hour. That wasn’t my intention, but it happened anyway.

I close the door behind me and make my way down the hallway, I hear familiar deep voices, one of those belonging to the person I want to avoid. I hide in a corner, which is occupied by a tall plant. I stay still and hold my breath and cautiously wait for them to walk pass. Their voices die down and become distant. I sigh in relief, they didn’t see me. “Are you avoiding me?” I look up to see Mark with a smirk on his face. Oh great (!). Don’t show your surprised, Rian.
“Huh? Pfft, no. Why-why would you say that?” I reply trying to keep my tone as steady as possible.
“Um…Well most people don’t hide in plants,” He dead pans.
“I’m not hiding in a plant, I-I dropped something and it- I can’t even continue that sentence. I don’t even know where I was going with that one” I interrupt my own lie.
“We need to talk.” He begins to step closer.
“Do we? What is there to talk about?” Nervousness slowly creeps in. Mark’s smirk becomes bigger. I take a step back.
“Don’t worry, you seem a little nervous…We’ll talk later,” He slyly states. Before beginning to walk away. I hate it when he does that. He does that to get his way.
“Fine! You wanna talk? Let’s talk!” I drag him into an empty practice room. “I’ll begin first, I like you and sometimes I don’t like you. I was confused, but yesterday I changed my mind. I’m not good with things like this so I don’t really know what to do,” I continue, in a steady voice, “If things are going to be awkward after this conversation then so be it,”
He studies my face and gently grabs my hands, his arrogant face replaced with newfound nervousness. “I really like you, and knowing that you feel the same makes me better. I don’t want us to be awkward after this.”
Anticipation flows throughout my body, “What do you want us to be then?” I look at him in the eyes.
“I- I want you, Rian, to be my…my girlfriend,” he answers with extreme shyness. My face lights up, a smile spreads across my face. “You want me to be your girlfriend?” I need to make sure I’m hearing correctly. He nods in response. I finally reply,“Yes. I want to be your girlfriend.”
