A Love Story

Me: I had a really nice time Leo.

Leo: Me too. Did you like the food?

Me: Yeah I loved it. Your a really good cook, I'm really sorry for yelling at you.

Leo: It's okay. I shouldn't have pushed you to tell me. You had a right to get mad.

I get home go inside take a shower and put my PJ's on, I walk in my room and I see the picture of my dad and I start crying. My phone starts ringing, I look at my phone and it was Leo. I try to compose myself and then I answer the phone.

Me: *cracked voice* Hello

Leo: What's wrong?

Me: Nothing I'm fine.

Leo: I'm coming over.

Me: No you need to rest.

Leo: That doesn't matter. I'm coming over.

Me: There is no stopping you is there?

Leo: Nope. I will see you soon.

Me: Okay.

A few minutes later there was a knock at the door. My mom answers the door.

Mom: Hello can I help you?

Leo: Hi I'm Leo I'm looking for Lenny.

Mom: Oh okay come on in. I'll go get Lenny. Lenny Leo is here to see you.

Me: I'll be right down.

I walk downstairs.

Me: Hey Leo.

Leo: Hey Lenny. Are you alright?

Me: I'm okay. Mom this is Leo the one I have been talking about.

Mom: Oh it's good to put a face to the name.

Leo: I can see why Lenny is so beautiful.

Me: Leo not in front of my mom.

Mom: It's okay it's really sweet. Thank you Leo.

Leo: Can you give Lenny and I a minute I need to talk to her.

Mom: Okay I have to go to bed anyway.

Leo: Okay thank you.

My mom goes in her room

Leo: Now Lenny why were you crying.

Me: I missed my dad. He died a long time ago. I was eight years old when it happened.

Leo: How did he die?

Me: He was murdered, and I watched it happen. We had just gotten home from the store and this guy was robbing us and he shot my dad in the face instead of taking everything. I thought about him while I was kissing you.

Leo: Lenny I had no idea. I'm so sorry that happened to you.

Me: Don't worry about it. My mom had a really hard time about it. But ever since she found Larry she has been really happy. My mom was so sad for so long. I hardly ever saw her smile. Now I can see her smile again.

Leo: what about your smile?

Me: Don't worry about me. My smile is not that great anyway.

Leo: Yes it is. Your smile is so beautiful I love your smile.

Me: Thank you.

Leo: I better get going.

I grab Leo's wrist.

Me: Please stay with me. Don't leave me.

Leo: Okay I need something to sleep in.

Me: Okay I'll ask my mom. She might have just the right thing.

Leo: Okay.

I knock on my mom's door

Mom: What is it honey?

Me: Leo needs something to sleep in.

Mom: Okay I'll be right back

My mom comes back and hands me the clothes. I walk back to Leo and hand the clothes to him. He goes to the bathroom puts the clothes on and comes back out. I pull out the bed out of the couch, and I sit on the bed. Leo then sits on the bed next to me.

Leo: Are you okay?

Me: Yeah I'm fine.

Leo: Okay. You want to get breakfast with me tomorrow?

Me: Yeah I would like that.

Leo: Okay. Are you tired?

Me: Yeah I am

Leo: You should get some sleep then.

Me: No I'm okay.

Leo: Get some sleep I'll be here tomorrow.

Me: Okay. Can you lay down next to me?

Leo: Yeah.

Me: Cam you hold me until I fall asleep?

Leo: Yeah.

I lay down on the bed and Leo turns all the lights off and lays down next to me. When Leo lays down next to me he wraps his arms around me.

Leo: Now sleep. I'm here.

I close my eyes and go to sleep
