Ria’s POV


Wrapping my body with auburn hued short velvelt dress, I secured my black waist band. While passing comb through my hair, I gazed at the mirror into my casting image. I was 19 by that time and ofcourse, beautiful, atleast prettier than Mihi. Along with my reflection, I saw Luhan tapping his foot behind, hands hidden in pockets.. I turned back.

“How do I look?” I flipped my hair.

He simply smirked. “We’ll be late if I start explaining where you need to fix things.”

“Jealous.” I squinted my eyes.

“Hurry up.”

We left my room, and headed to the main gate.

“Bye.” I waved to my mum.

“Bye, Luhan si, please take care of my little daughter.” Mum said.

“Sure.” Luhan smiled.

“What the hell!” I whispered under my breath.

My driver arrived at the right time and we sat inside my dad’s car.

“You know, we look like a couple.” Luhan concealed his chuckle under his hand.

“And that is the reason no boy tries to approach me. How annoying!” I whined.

“Same goes for me.” He mumbled.

“Wait, what do you mean?” I glared at him and then turned away. “Luhan… do you like someone?” I gulped.

His weariness faded away, leaving a little grin on his lips.

“So, there is… someone, right?” i asked.

“Yes. There is.” His eyes pointed at me.

NO, that can’t be me…. NO, NO, NO. “Mmm… Luhan, I’ve already told you, I like Kris.” I reminded him.

“So? That’s so old now.”

“But still, if you want to say anything to me about that ….. about that girl you like, feel free.”

“You hate her.” He whispered staring outside.

Why would I hate myself? “Just tell already, pleaaaaaassse.” I begged.

“Mihi.”

All my excitement was dumped within a second. “MIHI??? That bitch!”

“Ria! Mind the way you speak about her.”

“I mean!!! How, when!!! WHY???!!!!”

“I guess we are here.”

We got out of the car. “Listen, I’ll give you a call when the party’s over.” I ordered.

“Yes mam.” The driver said and drove away.

“Finally.” I warmed up my body a little bit.

“You ok?”

I’ll teach her a lesson to steal my boy and best friend.

“Ria?”

“Uh… yes? Lets go inside.”

“You are hopeless.”

“Wow…” as we stepped inside, I saw lot more people than I supposed.

“Are you influenced?” Luhan descended to my ear.

“Not really.” I shrugged off. “Most of our classmates.” I probed into the whole place. “Hey, Lay sunbae and Chen sunbae are over there too.” The lightings were dim and posing a reddish tone all over the place.

“Must be Kris’ friends.” Luhan replied indifferently.

“Why would he call his friend on his girl friend’s pa-” I halted.

“What?”

“Do you… do you know they are living together?” I smirked in joy.

“I know.” A downhearted sigh escaped his lips and I relished it.

“One thing’s for good. At least we can work together to make their party hell.”

“I am not into it. I cant see her sad face.”

“Oh hello Romeo… she’s hanging out with another guy. We can atleast---” I grabbed a waitress.

“Yes, mam?”

“Are these drinks for those two?” I asked her.

“Yes.”

“Ok, gimme that. I’ll hand these over to them.”

“But…”

“Its alright.” I took the tray from her.

“You’re outta your mind.” Luhan said as he saw me pouring some taste ruiners into the drinks.

“Excuse me…” I asked another waiter. “please give these to them.” I aimed at Kris and Mihi.

“Ok.” The waiter left.

“I’ll be really amused, Luhan.”

“Just don’t drag me into it.”

“You just dragged yourself on your own. Since its not just my problem anymore … but yours too.”

“Ria…”

“You’re hopeless…. Anything else?”

“You failed.”

“What?” I instantly looked at Mihi and Kris rejecting the drink. “WHY!”

“Maybe they saw you doing it.” Luhan grinned.

“So what… I’ve other plan prepared.”

Luhan folded his arms. “Lets see.”

“Luhan sunbae…” A guy appeared.

“Tao?” Luhan said.

“You too sunbae nim?” Tao faced me.

I posed a smile. “Mmm… Please excuse me guys.” I paced to the most anticipated couple.

“Oh, Hi Ria. I thought you wouldn’t come.” Mihi smiled innocently, that’s what I hated the most about her.

“But I still came. Oh Hello, Kris sunbae nim.”

Kris just nodded.

“She’s my class mate, Ria.”

“Hi.” Kris posed a smile.

I felt like he didn’t like me intruding their conversation. “Ok, you guys continue.” I just slipped away to Luhan.

“So?” Luhan wanted a report.

“Just shut up.” All of my pranskter mood went too low because of that impudent Kris.

My eyes were persistently viewing Mihi and Kris and OH MY GOD! My whole body was cringing inside. They were standing too close, too close for me to withstand. It felt like Kris was striving to make me envious. He pulled Mihi close to her and whispered something to her ear. She giggled in response. I tossed my eyeballs inside my eye at the view. However, my eyes were still endeavoring to Kris, besides I liked him since my first day of college.

Holding Mihi in his arms, he positioned his jaw on Mihi’s shoulder, and eyes, his eyes were positioned at something near me… or ME??? Why??? Does he know the reason behind… me coming here? Does he know that I want to pose harm to Mihi? Or… is it something else. His eyes left me as he dragged away Mihi’s hair and kissed the nape of her neck, then staring back at me. My body screeched numbness. His killer eyes were sucking my alertness. I diverted my eyes away.

“Luhan… lets go.” I grabbed his arm.

“Luhan’s not here.” Some guy replied.

“Lay oppa?” I stumbled.

“Be careful…” He caught hold of my arm. “You ok?”

“Mmm…” I bobbed my head. Lay and I were neighbours but a few years ago, so that’s why I called him oppa. “But where did Luhan go?”

“Why are you so worried about him? Take some drink.” He clutched a glass and swayed it to me.

“No…” I shut closed my eyes and pushed the glass back. “Oppa… let me go, I have to find Luhan.”

“Call him, simple.” He took a sip.

“Oh…” I pulled out my cell phone and called him. “Not reachable?”

“Oh, where could he be?” Lay leered at me, still holding me by my arm.

“He’ll be here somewhere.”

“Didn’t you hear unreachable?“He isnt here.” A bright smile flashed at me. Then he laughed.

“Whats so funny?” I withdrew my arm and left in the search for Luhan.

I bumped into someone. “Chen sunbae, have you seen Luhan?” I inquired.

“No.”

Without conversing any further I stepped aside into the crowd, thicker than usual, when did so many people arrived? The lightings were already dim from the start but they keep getting dull and dull… and it was hard to see anything later.

“Where did you go Luhan?” I mumbled and then heard a loud, ear-splitting shriek. “Mihi?” My mouth muttered on its own and the light went off.
