We follow her up the ladder and come into the classroom. The rest of Infinite are giggling at us but we ignore them. The counters are all in their places and a kid on the book shelf unplugs whatever they'd plugged in, jumping down and going to his seat as the teacher comes again. He takes one glance and points out the door, "Go change, why do you guys do this everyday?" Eun Hae shrugs and we follow her to the locker rooms. "Open any locker without a lock and you should fine." She leaves us and we change into the track pants and extra white shirts we found. Going back to the classroom, we sit down in our seats, waiting for Eun Hae to come back. Woohyun passes me a note and I read it,What'd you guys do down there? I roll my eyes and write back She dumped a bucket of water on each of us. I guess it was to disguise the sweat. He snickers and the door slides open, all of us looking at it. Eun Hae stands there in casual street clothes, not bothering to wear her wet uniform.
Woohyun and Hoya kick each of us to make us stop staring at her. She sits down and all seven pairs of eyes are on her. This time I pass her a note, Do you do that everyday? She glances at it and nods. For the rest of day, we all take notes and she disappears right when the bell rings. "So what do you think about Eun Hae?" Mr. Jung comes up to us because we were still sitting in our seats. "She's," Sungjong tilts his head a little, looking for the right word. "Interesting." "Since she's now your seat partner, you guys have to watch her, okay?" "What do you mean?" Sungyeol asks and the teacher sits down in Eun Hae's spot.
"Story time. So you guys just transferred here, but Eun Hae had been here for three years already. When she first came, she was a pretty girl that had friends, but ended up being bullied too much because one of the popular guys in the school had confessed to her. After that, she didn't come to school for two weeks, but when she finally did, she looked like a sick person. She had chopped off all of her hair, she looked skinnier and she was very pale. She then got into fights almost every day, you can tell from all of the bandages on her. For a year it was like that, but it slowly got better. She keeps her hair short and is still skinny, but she has spirit and gets into fights only about once a week. The only thing is that she skips sixth period everyday and I want you guys to find out what she does and where she goes."
Hoya puts his hand up, stopping him. "So you want us to spy on her? Isn't that a little too far?" Mr. Jung stares us down. "I'm just making sure she's not doing anything bad that might make her want to attempt suicide again." He gets up and calls over his shoulder while leaving the classroom, "Come report to me tomorrow after school."
"Seriously, what the hell." Woohyun sighs and I nod. Dongwoo and Sunggyu had both kept quiet and we wave our hands in front of their faces. "So what are we going to do?"
