Riki
I walk into the dance studio and Tao waves at me from in the corner with Kris and Luhan. I go over to them, sitting down on the floor. "What classes have you had so far?" He asks and I think back. "Math, English, economics, Japanese, mandarin. They weren't so bad." I count them off on my fingers. "Wa~ That's a lot of classes for your first day. Did you get anything wrong?" His face shows his amazement and I smile. "Ani, I got everything correct." "Does that mean you know how to cook, and how to speak Japanese and Mandarin?" He asks and I nod. "My, old home used to go there and I had to practice those languages to be able to understand what people were saying." Suddenly a mean looking woman walks into the room yelling for our attention. "We have a new dancer, greet her!" Everyone in the class turns to me bowing respectfully. I'm frozen, not knowing what to do. "Do you have a dance you can do for us?" I shake my head and Tao says from behind me. "We prepared one for her." I look at him and he hands me his phone, making me watch the video. I give it back to him after watching it once and they look at me surprised. "The song's name is Face, by Nu'est." He says and the teacher goes to a cord running out of the wall, plugging in her phone and looking it up. It suddenly blasts and I quickly start dancing it, going off of my memory. When I'm done, everyone is cheering loudly. "Have you ever danced to that before?" I shake my head. "I've never danced before." She blinks, and then looks over at Tao. "What, so you just picked a random song and showed it to her, making her dance it?" He nods as he backs up, afraid of her wrath. She turns back to me, "Well it looks like you're going to be a pretty good student." I nod respectfully and she goes to the front of the class talking about some group project. "Wow, you're a genius!" Tao says, patting my back and I glance at Kris and Luhan, who haven't talked to me at all since class started. Tao whispers "Talk to them in Mandarin, they might snap out of it." I nod and say "Hey! We're in class, not in your rooms. Talk!" They almost fall out of their chairs and then stare at me. "You know Mandarin?" "Weren't you listening earlier?" I sigh and the teacher appears next to me. "So is this your group?" "What group?" Kris asks and gets a whack on the top of his head. "Your group for the project! You have to pick a song, assign parts, practice and perform at the school festival!" The teacher swats him again for not listening. "Ah, deh, this is my group." I answer quickly so he doesn't keep on getting beat up. "Are you stupid?" I ask him in Mandarin and look back at the teacher. "How long do we have?" "Two weeks, including out of class practice. You guys better be good or I'm going to give you a really low grade." She glares at Kris and goes to talk to another student. Luhan and Tao start to laugh because I'd called him stupid in Mandarin. "What do you mean?" He asks. "Well you did ask a stupid question to a teacher when you should've kept your mouth shut." I answer him in Mandarin while staring at the paper she'd left behind. "So, what song are we going to do?" I ask, going back to Korean. "Oh! Let's do Very Good by Block B!" Tao says and Luhan reluctantly agrees. I look at them confused. "Here," Luhan pulls up the video on his phone, showing it to me. I look up to see Tao looking at me hopefully. "This video is weird, but sure." I write it down. "So who's going to dance who's parts?" I ask and soon we're all discussing what to do. By the end of class, I was pretty excited. I check my schedule and go my singing class next. I hadn't been allowed to sing at the circus, so I didn't know what my voice sounded like. I sit in the corner by the window and the door to the classroom slides open, making a loud banging sound. I glance at the door as five guys walk in, sitting on my right. Another guy sits up front all alone. A couple of girls walk in and one of them shrieks, pointing at me. I look at her and realize it was that thug leader that I'd beat up last night at the circus. I smirk, "So how are those injuries? I didn't hit you hard enough for it be serious." She looks like she wants to try to beat me up again but her friend reminds her that she's hurt. I sense the guys to my right looking at me and I put my feet up on my desk. "So you're the one that beat up Soo In?" One of the guy asks, coming to sit next to me. "Yeah, what of it?" I ask, looking out the window. "I just think that it's surprising that you actually beat her up." He says and I feel him shrugging. "What, she didn't go tell everyone that I beat her and four of her friends up? Wow!" I sigh and the guy up front falls out of his chair and glances back at me. "Ya! You little bitch! Don't you dare go spreading around rumors!" The thug girl, Soo In yells from the front and I yawn. She goes to the front of my row and pushes the desks together so she would squish me. I leap into the air, landing on top of the desk and look at her. "Hey, that's dangerous!" I say with an innocent face as the teacher walks in. "What's going on here?" The teacher barks and I say "This person just tried to squish me with the desks, I just jumped up onto the table so I wouldn't get hurt." She eyes Soo In and shakes her head, not even questioning it. I quickly push the desks back out and sit in my seat. "What's your name?" The teacher asks. "Kang Riki. But before you ask me to sing, I'd like to tell you I wasn't allowed to sing at my house. So I don't know if I'll be good or bad." She nods and tells me to sing something. I decide to just sing the song that Tao had made me dance to earlier and when I sang it, all five of the boys to my right look at me in surprise.

Well, goodnight. Picture day for school tomorrow. I'll probably have panda eyes like Tao...
